How to fix acrobat/pagemaker plug-in for Outlook 2013 from disabling on restart?

I have an issue with one of my customers where they have to go in and manually enable the Adobe Acrobat plug-in for Outlook 2013 every time they close and re-open Outlook or restart their computer.  When I go into Add-Ins in Outlook the plug-in isn't in the disabled COM add-ins, but in  the Inactive Application Add-ins section and the user needs to click on Go and then check the box to enable it.  This happens everytime Outlook is restarted or the computer is restarted.  Anyone seen this issue and have a fix?  it's a Windows 7 pro machine running Adobe Acrobat X and Office 2013 (cloud install).  Office and Windows are all patched and up to date.  Running "check for updates" within Acrobat says it's up to date also.  Thanks for any input or help in advance.

Sounds like the Security settings in the registry for Outlook 2013/Office 2013 are stuck and not letting you permantly change/the setting.  This has more to do with Office than it does with Acrobat so you may want to go to the MS website to see where these settings live in the Windows registry.

    Then there is Styles under the Format Text menu when in a new email. There are color options and font options, but again, no way to leverage the work I did in creating the custom theme.
    Searching on customizing themes for Outlook only gets me answers on the first use of the word theme, not the latter.
    Is there no way to you the theme I created for Outlook 2013?

    Its very simple - if you want a product that remains consistent and does not change its layout every few years, that is fully customizable, and will remain being supported by subsequent operating systems, then get an open source product running in an open
    source OS. It seems that you can no longer rely on MS to provide consistency, stability, or support for their own products. 
    When will MS realise that customer familiarity with their products is their intellectual property, like branding, which you would never trash every five years. Imagine that MS wanted to change their name to a new company name, or their Outlook brand to Inlook
    - it would never happen. So why is thee trade getup and arrangement changing so often and against what their customers want? Is it to justify thee new products? Maybe with cloud and 365, they will finally be happy and stop mucking about with what works (after
    they change everything back to '95 /XP format?).

    The Acrobat X plug-in for displaying PDFs in FireFox/Chrome does NOT support fast web view.   This means that PDFs don't display until after the entire file has been download.
    For example, try viewing this document in either IE(Windows) or Safari(Mac):

    Notice how it opens very quickly, and then you can scroll around and view all the content as the PDF content strreams in?  In Safari you can see the download progress like you used to be able to see in all versions of the acrobat plug-in.  Note also that in the IE version, although fast web view is working, you cannot see the download progress like you used to be able to... Thats an issue, but not nearly as bad as the real issue...
    Now try clicking the same link in either FireFox or Chrome (note that in Chrome you need to be sure that Chrome's PDF viewer is turned off and the acrobat plug-in is enabled).  Note that the PDF is not displayed until the entire file is downloaded.
    This feature is VITAL for viewing large documents online.  I'm astonished that this has not been reported by other users.
    Adobe -- PLEASE be sure that this gets fixed in the next update to Reader X!!  I was shocked to see that it was not fixed in 10.1.

    WHY would you want to disable this? Linearized "Fast Web View" enabled PDF are the right and proper type of document to be created.

    OK no installer, not nice but not fatal.
    I assume you already downloaded the file from the web site. Locate it in the Download folder and double click it. That will extract the plug-in from the zip file.
    Now the tricky bit. The Library folder in your Home folder is no longer visible in Lion (thanks Apple ) There are ways around this the easiest is to open Finder hold down the option key and select Go from the menu bar. Your Library folder will be visible in the list of folders shown. Select it.
    You are now in the Library folder, select the Application Support folder and then select the Aperture folder.  If you have no other plug-ins installed you will need to create the Plug-Ins folder, do that. In the Plug-Ins folder create the Export folder. That is where you will copy the plug-in to.
    So open another Finder window locate the plug-in you extracted from the zip file and drag it to the Export folder. Restart Aperture and the plug-in should be visible in Aperture.

    6.0.6 is CS4, not CS6 (which is version 8).
    Why do you need to upgrade plugins? Are you getting an error  message trying to pen a file? That meas the file was saved from a newer version of ID, and you'll need either the newer version, or an IDML file exported from the original. You can't upgrade plugins to make this work.

    I have a Photosmart Plus B201a printer connected to my network wirelessly.  I am able to print to it and scan from it via the OS using three different Windows 7 machines, but I am unable to print to it or scan from it via the OS on my MacBookPro (running Snowleopard - 10.6).  I can see it on Bonjour when I add it as a printer, but when I try to print I either get a miscellaneouse printer error, or the Mac thinks that it is offline.  I am able to access it via its webserver and can even scan there.  I am also able to print to it via the eprintcenter ... just not via the OS.  I have called Apple and they say it is a printer problem.  HP says it is an OS issue.  Anyone have any ideas?

    I changed my wireless to "2.462 GHz - CH 11"
    I did a "Reset Printing System" and then tried to readd my printer.  In order to get this to work, I had to go to use the printers webserver and disable Bonjour, apply, and then enable Bonjour, apply.  After this I was a ble to readd the printer and print a document.  I then tried to print a second document, and I got "printer ofline".  So I tried the disable/enable Bonjour trick and then paused and then restarted the printer and my second document printed.
    I do not want to have to go through all of those steps to get each document to print so I hope that with this information you might have an idea of how to fix this.
    BTW, thanks for the help and attention so far ... I do appreciate it.

I can down load it right click and go "open with" MS Word but how can I get the default chnaged to save this step.

    In Firefox > Preferences, click the Applications tab. If RTF is there, use the pulldown menu in the Action column to pick MS Word. If RTF is not there, there are instructions here for how to add file types.

    That has nothing to do with styles nor Pages, it is a System/Printer Driver setting.
    You can experiment to see if the Printer Settings stick with your document, but in the past this has not worked.
