Well this is my story. I was cleaning my room and I put my ipod in my sweater.Later in the day I went to take a shower I put my sweater in the laundry basket.My dad was washing sweaters so he told me to give it to him so I did. I went to my room and when I heard the washer beep , I then remebered I left my ipod in my sweater I took it out and went straight my room and left on the counter doing nothing. Now what should I do?

Depends on what's wrong with it. Could you elaborate a little? Is their physical damage to the display?

I got an ipod 6th gen for xmas and the sleep/wake button has stopped working, i have contacted apple and they have takin my cc details are sending me a box to send my ipod back to them. i will get a new ipod if its not water damage, i asked how to tell if it was water damage or not and i was told to check where the earphones go and what colour is at the end of the docking hole, the colour on mine is a silvery white does anyone know if it was water damage what colour would it be???

If they are gone, then your question is answered.
If you synced your ipod to a different computer, then the current content of the ipod would be erased.
You cannot sync the music from the ipod to the computer. It sync from the comptuer to the ipod.
If the music is gone, then it is gone.
Not sure how you think this didn't help you.
Your music is only where you put it. If you synced your ipod to another computer, erasing the ipod, then the music is not on the ipod any longer.
Not sure what else you are looking for.

How to reformat Ipod Nano 5th gen when not recognized by Windows or iTunes?

I've done all the steps on the site to correct this problem up until the reformatiing part except I tried to update the driver software but Windows says that it encounters an error when trying to install the new software.
So after going through the steps I noticed that the iPod I just bought was formatted for Mac. It says that in order for me to reformat, I have to restore my iPod in iTunes but since it isn't recognized my my computer or iTunes, I can't do it.

How to fix ipod 4g static audio when recording?

When i record video, there's a static sound when being played. All other noises are hard to hear. It was working fine few days ago with literaly no changes (like downloading/deleting apps or changeing audio settings) Here's what I tried to do (atleast what I remembered doing)
-Reboot
-Turn of wi-fi
-Hold power and home button for 10 seconds
Test video: i just played ringtones at max volume, if i recorded it without the static noise, it would be much louder.

So earlier today I had dropped my iphone 5 into the toliet. Now I had just peed in the toliet.. and I grabbed the phone out asap. It was in there no longer then 2 seconds. I cant turn on or off my iphone with using the power button on the top. Well I turned it off by going into the settings now I have it in rice. Anyone know how I can fix this? you could (once the phone has dried out and you hav waited a few days and are game to turn it on) go to settings/general/accessibility and turn on assistive touch. A little button will appar on the screen and you can drag it around if it gets in the way. If you tap on the button then tap on device then hold the little padlock for a while it will turn the phone for you

Ipod nano 6th gen freezes when connected to usb.

Hello.I have ipod nano 6th generation.When i connect it to usb it shows Connected screen and freezes until I do reset and nothing shows in windows or itunes.I dont know what to do,searching about 2 hours for fix.:(

Do you know if other people have the same problem? Maybe your car (stereo) is incompatible with the iPod? Do you have to restore it or do you can use it anyway after a freeze? If no, make a reset before restoring it) I'm sure the cable/adapter isn't the problem.

Tried to do the same to my Ipod nano 6th, and when I'm trying to install the driver (as I did with the Iphone, and as it says in the troubleshooting) I get the next message: "the folder you specified doesn't contain a compatible software driver for your device. If the folder contains a driver, make sure it is designed to work with windows for 64x-based systems".
I did tried all the other steps as well and nothing worked. I guess the problem is with the driver (as I had the same problem exactly with my Iphone), but it doesn't say in the troubleshooting what to do with this error message.

Is your iPod configured to sync photos? If so, try disabling the syncing of photos and see if the error message goes away.
