How to Fix one value of a size field

Hi
In my advanced image properties i have a sizefield(xtype). I want to fix the width of this field; ie : it shud be a fixed value and shud not be editable for the author. So author can edit only height. How can i acheive this.

It depends on the business process required for generating the invoice. (What is this process just now?)
I can think on quite a few ideas, but can't be sure if any of them will match your specific requirements. I'll list a few here and see if any of them might work, or at least generate some new ideas for you. (Unfortunately you can't change an existing payment object to add an invoice to it at a later date, nor is the reconciliation process exposed through the SDK. This limits your options a bit.)
1) Is there a need for a separate delivery and invoice? Would skipping the delivery process and using the standard Invoice + Payment screen work for you? Stock would be issued, invoice created and payment matched directly to invoice without any work.
2) This might apply if the invoice is simply a one for one match with the delivery. Rather than just generate a payment in the delivery screen, generate the invoice and a payment at the same time. The standard invoice screen will then show it as paid. You can control the dates on the invoice raised through DI code.
3) Where do you write the Paid Amount to? How is it not available in the invoice screen? Put it somewhere accessible and write it to the user field.

if you use keyword MOVE u may loose the decimal and thoussan separator and if u don't want to loose them just call the FM ..HRCM_STRING_AMOUNT_CONVERT.
i doubt wherther it is HRCM or HCRM just try using *
this will suit ur requirement.

program an AUTHORITY-CHECK.
AUTHORITY-CHECK OBJECT <authorization object>
   ID <authority field 1> FIELD <field value 1>.
   ID <authority field 2> FIELD <field value 2>.
   ID <authority-field n> FIELD <field value n>.
The OBJECT parameter specifies the authorization object.
The ID parameter specifies an authorization field (in the authorization object).
The FIELD parameter specifies a value for the authorization field.
The authorization object and its fields have to be suitable for the transaction. In most cases you will be able to use the existing authorization objects to protect your data. But new developments may require that you define new authorization objects and fields.

You can do this method. In the screen , create a text field of CHAR instead fo creating an INT4 field.
I have created a field of CHAR of name say TEXT.
In the main program,
declare a variable of the same name ie. TEXT.
data: TEXT(5) TYPE C.
In PBO, just assign the negative values.
It will work.Since there is automatic conversion between character and integer data types, it will work for positive values as well.

Hi,
put the employee in rows panel -> reaming object put it in free char panel.
suppress the all result rows for the all object except employee .
select the object -> go to query properties -> select display tab -> select result rows -> select suppress.
select the employee -> go to query properties -> select display tab -> select result rows -> select always display. - now it will give employee wise hourly rate summarize data.

How to fix a value of a characteristic during Aggregation

I am not able to fix a value of a char JO_SREG(sales region) while creating aggregate.
Values of the char JO_SREG are not coming in the "value help of InfoObject JO_SREG", therefore i cannot select one value for this char to restrict it.
Please tell me why the values in the value help are not coming.

Check that master data for JO_SREG is available???
If you have not maintained the master data for JO_SREG then you wont be able to see the values.

How to get the values from the input field of a table

Hello Friends
I am having table having one column as InputField and rest are the textview fields
I input the data and click the button that will add them to a node.
But what is happening is it is adding the current value to all the fields replacing other filelds.
Like suppose I am having 3 rows
In column I input 10
In column 2 input 20
In column 3 input 30
Now it is setting the value 30 to all the 3 fields.
Can any one tell me the code to set 10, 20 and 30 as different value in a node as entered by me.

How to set default value in Profit Center field of Tcode F-02.

Hi!
Is it possible to set a default value for 'Profit Center' field in t.code F-02? Is there a way wherein the value will be copied in reference to the entered Business Area?
For example, if during parking/posting of document, user input a value of 300 in the Business Area field, the system will automatically put 300 in the Profit Center field. Is there a way to do this?

Using the substitution this can be achieved.
TC:GGB1
Step-1: Prerequiste select the Company code for which this requirement is needed
Step-2: In Substitution field, select the the "Profit center" field on selection of the field - system'll asks you - How would you like to substfield BSEG-PRCTR ? with the 3 options
i.constant value
ii.exit
iii.Field-Field assignment
Select the 3rd option on selecting 3rd option before going to save that substitution it'll ask you to input which field should input the field BSEG-GSBER:Business area
Step-3: activate the above substitution in TC:OBBH
With the above settings whenever any value inputs in Business are field then the same value will be substituted in the Profit center field.
Note: Make sure in all FSG - business area & profit center having the field status optional
Can you tell me onething why this requirement has came ? Is business area and profit center are same in number and prupose

HI,
You can set default values on to screen fields using SET and GET PARAMETER command, You need to assign a PARAMETER ID for that screen field and then use SET PARAMETER before the screen is called or in the PBO of the screen, you can set default values direcly in PBO of the screen but then you have hard code those value or read the data from database.
You need to have a TABLES statement to create a strucutre that you used to create your screen fields, then when you set value to these strucutre fields these values will get tranported to the screen fields automatically.

Normally a value table can be added in the domain.
And the field of the database table will have the value table, to which this domain is assigned.
My question is.. Is it possible to assign a value table to any field ina database table, directly?(i.e. <b>without assigning to that domain</b>)

1. what is the purpose of your value table ?
-- so that the user can select values
   from some master table , for that field !!!!
2. This is done by
    CHECK TABLE (foreign key concept)
   (and not value table)
3. When we create a check table for a field,
   then
   some DEFAULT table is PROPOSED
   . that DEFAULT table is nothing
but PICKED up from the domain of that field,
and shown from the value of VALUE TABLE.
(we can change it however)
4. so for your purpose,
   just create a CHECK TABLE.
