How to force OTT generating java?

I've read in an Oracle white paper that Oracle has an Object Type Translator (ott) utility that creates java objects from object type definitions in the database. In my installations of Oracle 8.1.7 and 9.2i my ott utility only supports output of C structures (though in ott.exe present such strings as "public void...", "throws SQLException..."). Does anyone know how to force ott.exe generating java sources?

OTT can generate C structures or C++ classes from object definitions. You should look at JPublisher for Java classes.

  • How to keep the generated java classes for compiled jsp in WL9.2 Workshop

    Hi all,
              <p>
              It should be a very simple question for most of you, however, it seems a bit tricky to me: how to configure the Weblogic 9.2 workshop so that we could keep the generated java files for the compiled jsp when we ran the application within WL 9.2 workshop?
              <p>
              I try some configurations, but not working. Also, where are the generated java files stored?

  • How to Read and Generate XML file from java code.

    hi guys,
    how to read the xml file (Condition :we know only DTD or Shema only).
    How to Generate the new xml file ?(using Shema )
    And one more how directly Generate the xml from DB?
    Pleas with code or any URL

    Using XMLbeans you can generate Java objects from an XSD schema (perhaps DTDs aswell)
    Then you can create an instance of the Document object and ask it to write itself.
    This will create an XML document complient to the schema.
    XMLBeans generates a "type" safe DOM where you can only ever have a structure compilent to you schema.

    hi ,
    As mentioned in the Question, I am unable to find the "Java Proxy Generattion" link in the Int builder.
    Also the help doc says:
    Java proxy generation is no longer supported in subsequent releases. For new developments or when making significant changes to a service interface, use Java proxy generation in SAP NetWeaver Studio instead. More information: Creating Outside-In Web Services, SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio.
    Does that mean that I can no longer generate java proxy from Int builder?

  • How to generate Java source using clientgen WL8.1?

    Hi, does anybody know how to generate Java source code using clientgen task on WL 8.1 Sp4 or SP5? I know WL 9.0 clientgen can do this, but we are still on SP5. Basically I want to look at the source code (I was wondering why it didn't work if I initialize a service impl by passing the WSDL URL string different than the URL specified in the original WSDL file that the clientgen is run against.)
    Does anybody also know how get web service client developed on Axis work on WebLogic without conficting the web service developed on WebLgoic that is running in the same box?
    Thanks for your help!

  • How to generate .java file from xml?

    Does anyone have an idea of how i can generate .java file from xml file? Tools like jakrata digester, JOX are there but both of them are useful in populating java beans from xml. My requirement is to generate .java file from .xml with getters and setters methods for xml elements/attributes. I also tried JAXB. But JAXB generates bunch of files and most of them are interfaces, which is not going to work for me.
    For e.g. i have following xml file and i want to generate Address.java file with getters/setters. Any ideas?
    <?xml version='1.0' encoding='UTF-8' ?>
    <Address>
    <FirstName type="String"/>
    <PoBox type="int"/>
    </Address>

  • How to omit xmlns from generated Java classes

    Hi,
    I'm using JAXB and xjc to generate Java classes from xsd fils. I've noticed that when marshalling these Java classes to XML string, there are few xmlns attributes that (as far as I concern :-))
    "waste" space on the generated xml (space is critical resource in our application). Is there a way to order the Marashaller to omit these xmlns attributes from the generated files?
    I tried to edit the generated xml string. I removed the xmlns attributes, but unmarshall it back to Java objects failed...
    Thanks for any help,
    Barak.

    If the xmlns is specified in the xsd, it is also required in the xml. If you do not want it, however you can remove it from your xsd and then generate your xml

  • How to generate .xsd file using jaxb generated java files

    Hi,
    We need to upgrade our applicatio to jdk1.6 which has jaxb2.0 class files in it. Our application has java files generated from .xsd using jaxb1.0.2 version. At present we dont have .xsd or .xml file with us.
    We decide to generate .xsd file by using jaxb1.0.2 generated java files. I tried using schemagen.exe given by jdk1.6 to generate .xsd file. It error out. Is there any other way to generate .xsd file ?
    pls let me know.
    thanks,
    Thiru

    Object-XML mapping is a new feature in JAXB 2.0. Classes generated with JAXB 1.0 won't generate a schema.

  • How to generate java file from WSDL file

    Hi friends,
    I am new to this thing, so that's why I need some guidence .
    I need to generate java file programatically from existing wsdl file.
    I thought the ways - to use xmlbeans apache library or jaxb.
    Can you suggest what will be better way to generate java file from wsdl? can you please be more descriptive and can you direct me to appropriate link?
    Thanks.
    Harshit

    xmlbeans apache provides easiest way to create java file from wsdl there is very good link for that

    If you want more programmatic approach then Jaxb will be a better option

  • How to force digital input sample rate?

    Does anyone know how to force a Digital Input sample rate and/or tell Core Audio which conversion clock to use... internal or external? Apparently both things can be done from Pro Tools, but I don't have it.  My problem is locking onto an A/D converter's 48K Toslink output.  I can set 48K in 'Audio - Midi' setup and the audio is perfect, but a few seconds later  Core Audio returns to the default 44.1K.  I need to force it to stay at 48K, or clock on the signal rather than internal clock.

    Braver,
    Let me clarify a few things. First, the 6733 supports correlated digital I/O. This means that the digital operation does not have its own clock. You can correlate the digital operation with the AO clock, which will allow a digital operation up to the max AO rate. You can generate a pulse train with an onboard counter and use that as your digital clock source. Also, you can use a completely external clock source to achieve the max digital rate of 10MHz. The knowledge base, linked below, points you to a couple of examples that ship with LabVIEW. Be sure and read the documentation associated with each example.

    As for
    the example CDI Single Point clocked by Counter (E).vi, notice how the output of...

  • How to use JAXB generated classes with SOAP

    hello,
    I have a library of JAXB generated classes for my web service. There is a Java class for each web method defined in my schema. For example, my getLocation method is mapped to GetLocation.class.
    However my web service is SOAP based, so I am having to manually strip off the SOAP elements to be able to unmarshall the getLocation xml to a GetLocation class.
    I am noticing a disconnect between JAXB and other Java SOAP and RPC libraries. Does anyone know how to create a JAXB class for SOAP Envelopes and Bodys? Does anyone have any ideas how to incorporate the existing Java web service libraries with JAXB?
    Thanks in advance.

    Have you found a method to integrate SAAJ and JAXB? Or
    is better to use SAAJ only ?If I had to choose I'd go with SAAJ. It seems to me that's theoretically possible to use JAXB classes with SAAJ but I imagine if it is possible it would be a big pain in the ass.

  • How to get auto generated column in spring jdbc

    Hi guys ,
    I am using springJDBC and sybase db.
    I think what i am facing is a standard problem but whatever support i am getting from google is not working.
    My problem is :
    "While inserting values in database one colum is autogenerated .....how do i get the value of that column??"
    FYI,
    I have tried using the following code :
    "final String INSERT_SQL = "insert into my_test (name) values(?)";
    final String name = "Rob";
    KeyHolder keyHolder = new GeneratedKeyHolder();
    jdbcTemplate.update(
    new PreparedStatementCreator() {
    public PreparedStatement createPreparedStatement(Connection connection) throws SQLException {
    PreparedStatement ps =
    connection.prepareStatement(INSERT_SQL, new String[] {"id"});
    ps.setString(1, name);
    return ps;
    keyHolder);
    // keyHolder.getKey() now contains the generated key"
    but i am getting this error : "java.lang.AbstractMethodError: com.sybase.jdbc2.jdbc.SybConnection.prepareStatement(Ljava/lang/String;I)Ljava/sql/PreparedStatement"
    I think this code works well with Oracle but not with sybase .........does anyone know the solution of this problem .......and by "this problem" i mean how to retrieve auto generate value in spring jdbc ...........without using SimpleJdbcInsert class

    Looking at the previous post it doesn't look like a Spring issue.
    You are using a JDBC driver which does not support getting generated keys so you have 2 choices:
    - Use a different driver that supports generated keys
    - Get the generated key by issuing some vendor specific SQL e.g. 'select @@identity' for SQL server

Everything should happen through java program. Bcos everything is dynamic here, no information is known (like dir, file names ...) until the runtime. Everything is user fed.
    the directories may contain other directories with java files. its recursive
    i tried com.sun.tools.javac.Main.. but either its not scaling to my needs or i donno how to wok with this.
    is there any option to compile the java files as they are created thru JAXBRI (wsdl2java)?
