How to generate ojdeploy-build.xml?

Hi Experts,
I has been googling and surfing web a lot but unfortunatelly haven't found any exact step-by-step instructions about integrating ADF appl with ANT.
I believe my case is very common:
ADF Application with:
- Model project (based on ADF BC)
- viewcontroller project, with dependency on model project.
I want to get EAR file using ojdeploy.
I found only how to generate build.xml for viewcontroller project' WAR, but I saw posts which refer ojdeploy-build.xml.
How can I generate ojdeploy-build.xml file?
Or it should be created manually?
Where can I get a list of parameters for <ojdeploy-build>.<deploy> task?
Thank you!

Hi,
if you have to generate simple XML's like this it is easy to do that using JDOM.
I have used it and it is really easy to use, very simple to learn.
for more information: www.jdom.org
Good luck,

  • Hi How to generate vendor specific XML files

    Hi all!
    This is satish. I have  aquestion as:
    <b>How to generate vendor specific XML</b> files for deploying in Web Application server like weblogic9.0
    Please help me!
    Thanks in advance!!!

    Hi Satish
    AFAIK there are nwds plugins where you can convert Weblogic / jboss specific were you can convert it in to  SAP Web AS specific descriptor files .
    you can find these here http://media.sdn.sap.com/html/submitted_docs/sap_j2ee_migration_kit_webpages/external_docs/SAP_J2EE_Migration_Plugin.zip
    I am afraid there are no such plugins avaialble. You have to do the conversion of these vendor specific file manually or you will have to search for eclipse plugins which can do this
    Hope this helps. please do not forget to reward points

  • How to create a build.xml file ??

    Hi there,
    I am learning j2ee at the moment. I have been throught the tutorial and got everything working (finally). however, now that I have started writing my own code, I am stuck with writing the build.xml file (as this is not covered in the tutorial, it is just provided). Does anyone know a good link that will give me step by step instructions on how to create my own build.xml file for my application.
    thanks

    You need to learn ant. Go here:
    http://jakarta.apache.org/ant/
    I also recommend "Java Development with Ant" by Hatcher and Loughran, just published.

    Hi
    Thanks for your help but I really didn;t found what I'm lookin for in this page.
    This page explains how xslt transform xml in xhtml. I know this point, I want to know HOW could I make it from my application. I guess there are a transform class that could generate html from a xsl template, but I couldn't find the way to do it and couldn't find examples too.

  • How to generate the following XML-Output?

    Hi all,
    I would like to generate the following XML-Output without defining any types or tables:
    <?xml version = '1.0'?>
    <DEPARTMENTS_EMPLOYEES>
    <DEPARTMENT NAME="ACCOUNTING">
    <DEPTNO>10</DEPTNO>

    <EMPLOYEES_OF_DEPARTMENT>

    Unfortunately the following SQL-Statement does not working:

    Print from what? If you aren't licensing ID for the sales staff that sounds like they print from PDF. I don't know anything about Easy Catalog, but I don't think there's any way to edit the PDF using it.
    I think you should ask the folks at Easy Catalog about this, and maybe post the question over in ID scripting. It may be possible to write a script that will automatically update the PDF when the ID file is closed or saved, which I suspect is about as close as you are going to come to what you want. • How to generate PDF from XML output without XML publisher

    Hi,
    I am facing a problem while splitting the rdf generated XML output.
    Problem Description:
    I have a oracle invoice report which runs once every day (scheduled program). This report fetches me the invoices generated on that day and needs to be Mailed / Faxed to the customers.
    So i developed the report in such a way that it generates the output order by customers...since the output generated will be as one .out file in APPLCSF/out directory...the .out file needs to be splitted by customers, for which i have written a cursor which takes the data of the main query and submits that many requests as many as customers are there.....There is a possibility of having 1000 customers per day also. If that is the case then my main program will fire that many requests.
    Is there a different approach......any inputs are highly appreciated.
    Also, i am generating the output in XML format. Is there a way from which i can directly generate a PDF from that XML output rather using any other tool.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Lakshmi Kalyan Vara Prasad.

    Hi,
    with Reports Bursting and the defined "distributions" it's possible to have one report splittet to several parts with different receipients. Have a look at http://download-uk.oracle.com/docs/cd/B14504_01/dl/bi/B13673_01/pbr_dist.htm.
    With xsl-fo it's possible to create pdf out of xml ... that's what xml publisher is doing.

  • How to generate WSDL from XML Schema?

    What are reasonable strategies, both direct and indirect, to generate a WSDL from

    There is a "start from schema" example that Manoj built [1] that could
    be a good choice for determining your development path.

    The first  warning is happening because you're stating drivers for input devices without need. You haven't disabled hotplug so evdev gets used instead of kbd. This is normal, and you should change the driver line from kbd to evdev so that whatever options (if any) you've specified for the keyboard get parsed.
    The second warning is about you not installing acpid.
    The third I have no idea about, but look at the synaptics wiki. None of the (WW) are related to your video card.
    And every card that has 2 or more output ports show up as "two cards". You also don't need to specify the pci port in xorg.conf. edit: this is the general case with laptops, might be different for desktops.

  • How to automatically generate a build file of the application from command-line

    Hi All
    How can we automatically generate a build file of the application from command-line (as opposed to using Jdev IDE to click to generate a build.xml) ?
    Thanks

    User, which jdev version do you use?
    I don't think you can do this. You can only create an ant build.xml from the project inside jdev.
    You can use ojdeploy to build the project.  This is the only method which will also make the necessary changes to the descriptors.
