How to get an external binding container

Hi friends.
I'm migrating now to jdeveloper 11g
Can anybody tell me how to get a reference to an external binding container. i found the decision:
     FacesContext fctx = FacesContext.getCurrentInstance();
                 ELContext elc = fctx.getELContext();
                 ValueExpression vle = fctx.getApplication().getExpressionFactory().createValueExpression(elc,"#{bindings}",DCBindingContainer.class);
                 DCBindingContainer bc = (DCBindingContainer)vle.getValue(elc);
                 if (bc == null) {
                     return;
                 BindingContext ctx = bc.getBindingContext();
                 DCBindingContainer dcb = ctx.findBindingContainer("jurDialogPageDef"); but it never works!!!!
bc is always null.
neither simplier the approach works
        BindingContext _ctx=BindingContext.getCurrent();
        DCBindingContainer dcb = (DCBindingContainer)_ctx.findBindingContainer("jurDialogPageDef");
        DCIteratorBinding jurIter = (DCIteratorBinding) dcb.get ("JurPersonView1Iterator"); dcb is null though the jurDialogPageDef.xml does exist.

I am now struggling to get the value of a referenced object from master aggrement Page.
I want to get the Vendor External_ID from vendor name which is getting displayed in Supplier tab of Master aggrement page.

The following code will populates Vendor External Id field on the Vendor Info tab of the Master Agreement document.
Please make sure to create an extension (referred in below code: "VEND_EXT_ID") on the Master Agreement Extensions, and display it below the Vendor Details. Also make sure you make the extension field as READ ONLY.

How to get an external hard drive to work on my iBook?

I have an old iBook G4, and I recently bought a newer macbook. I want to transfer all of my stuff from my old computer to my new one, but there's a problem. I have a Toshiba external hard drive that I bought a few years ago to use on my mom's iMac. It mounts on her computer, but for some reason, it won't mount or do anything on my iBook. Whenever I hook the hard drive into one of my iBook's usb ports, nothing happens. I have no clue what to do to get it to work. Does anyone have any ideas?

Because Migration Assistant isn't the ideal way to migrate from PowerPC to Intel Macs, using Target Disk Mode, copying the critical contents to CD and DVD, an external hard drive, or networking will work better when moving from PowerPC to Intel Macs. The initial section below discusses Target Disk Mode. It is then followed by a section which discusses networking with Macs that lack Firewire.
If both computers support the use of Firewire then you can use the following instructions:
1. Repair the hard drive and permissions using Disk Utility.
2. Backup your data. This is vitally important in case you make a mistake or there's some other problem.
3. Connect a Firewire cable between your old Mac and your new Intel Mac.
4. Startup your old Mac in Target Disk Mode.
5. Startup your new Mac for the first time, go through the setup and registration screens, but do NOT migrate data over. Get to your desktop on the new Mac without migrating any new data over.
Copy the following items from your old Mac to the new Mac:
In your /Home/ folder: Documents, Movies, Music, Pictures, and Sites folders.
In your /Home/Library/ folder:
/Home/Library/Application Support/AddressBook (copy the whole folder) /Home/Library/Application Support/iCal (copy the whole folder)
Also in /Home/Library/Application Support (copy whatever else you need including folders for any third-party applications)

How to get the external scheduler SMSE certified ??

Hi Experts,
We have an external scheduler system (like SAP CPS by Redwood) which needs to be integrated with SAP Solution Manager.
I believe there is some certification process (Solution Manager Scheduling Enabler certification) which certifies an external scheduler to be Solution Manager compliant.
Can anyone point me to the exact process/documentation to be followed to get an External Scheduler SMSE-certified?
Any pointers in this direction would also be appreciated.

I have the SMSE_Interface document with me. But the question is: when and how these APIs will be invoked and where the implementation should reside?
Let me explain my confusion : I can understand that the API for registration BAPI_EXT_SDL_REGISTER will be invoked by External Scheduler to register itself with Solution Manager. (Before this, the RFC destination needs to be created as well)
But when it comes to job scheduling, how to implement the EXT_SDL_JOB_SCHEDULE API ??
Will this API be called from Solution Manager when the user clicks on "Schedule Jobs" button on SM Work Center or is there any other way in which this API will eb invoked ??
In both case, where and how the implementation of this API should be written? Will this be a ABAP coding to invoke the External Scheduler or is there any mechanism in which C++ code can be invoked from Solution Manager on click on "Schedule Jobs" button.
I hope you are able to get my confusion here.. Let me know if I need to elaborate this more..

How to get the jpeg image contained in a URL

I have a jpeg image which is contained in a URL

fFileName=test
How can I get the image only? The file is not in jpeg format
but in some other format which adds two lines in front of a
jpeg file. This jpeg file is what I want. But how to get it?
Note that california.biocars.org/ is inside a firewall and can not
be viewed from outside.

How to get Filtered external list data into infopath form

Hello ,
Below I am adding issue about filtered external list .
I Created a external list which contains columns like projectuid and project name , I am filtering the list by adding a custom webpart and after filtering it displays only the filtered rows .
I created a infopath form and i am using the same external list as data source . I am using the data source for an drop down list/ text box .My requirement is to display only the filtered values in the drop down list but its displaying all the values
present is in the external list .
Is there any possibility to get only the filtered values into the drop down list ?

Actually, after thinking about it some more, you can filter the dropdown in InfoPath, but it depends on what you're filtering and whether that changes. If you want to filter it, you can go to the "control properties," then under "Entries," you can click
the button on the right. Then "filter data" in the popup.
As far as sending the information to a new list, you would have to use the "content organizer" under "manage site features" in your "site actions," or you would have to create a workflow in SP Designer.

I need to perform iFS search which returns list of folders containing documents of certain custom document class. What is the best way of doing it?
I tried to build search clause in the following manner:

do :
Let's assume, there is a custom document
of type PurchaseOrder, you want to find
all folders that contain PurchaseOrder
documents.
It will end up with some SQL looking
like this.

You just need two JoinQualifications.
Each clause in the WHERE condition
above represents one joinqualification.

I wasn't able to find a C# function that would obtain the serial number for a PXI card. However, I believe you could use the VI_ATTR_MODEL_NAME function to get the model name of the device. Therefore, you would know whether it was the PXI-8430 or the PXI-8431. If this does not work, your workaround will work like you said. I know that this is not your desired way of achieving this, however, it will work. I can continue looking though and see if I can find a function that will return the serial number.

Can anyone tell me how to get an external rom to work?

Removed rom to add another drive...rom comes up with error code 70012, cant initialize!! Have tried other roms, same error, and the roms are fine, I reinstalled it back in the bay and no prob. One forum talked about using 0xED, changes internal to external...NO CLUE ON THAT, but also mentioned it may affect the internal bay working properly! I can only assume this is something in macs os, Im running lion...also, that vlc has same error code!!! Anyone with info be great to hear from you. I have the UID for a PageItem and I'm trying to get a list of the UIDs of the pages which the item is on.
I'm using GetPageUIDs:

Try GetItemsOnPage from ISpread interface.

Which document PLD do you refer to? In general, you have to get them through UDF. PLD is very basic reporting tool that do not easily link to anywhere.

Does anyone know how to get an external drive to unlock the permissions from read only to read and write? Without reformatting or buying an app?

If you single click on your external drive icon on the desktop and then goto
'File > Get Info' a window will display the information for that drive. At the
bottom of the window their should be a check box that either allows you
to recognise users of not. You probably want to uncheck this box.
Or... You can keep the user option and just change the permissions
using the same Get Info window.

In Finder's Menu, select Go menu>Go to Folder, and go to "/volumes". (no quotes)
Volumes is where an alias to your hard drive ("/" at boot) is placed at startup, and where all the "mount points" for auxiliary drives are created for you to access them. This folder is normally hidden from view.
Drives with an extra 1 on the end have a side-effect of mounting a drive with the same name as the system already think exists. Try trashing the duplicates with a 1 or 2 if there are no real files in them, and reboot.
