hi,
i created a screen with some input and output fields ,
if i entered sales order number i will get item details of the sales order ,
i kept a button in the screen if i press that button delivery number shd displa with message "your delivery number is **** " and number shd display...
plz can any 1 help me

Try the following,
Say you get your delivery number in a variable v_delno (table VBFA), then where you are displaying the message
message 'Your delivery number is &' with v_delno type 'I'.
Output will replace & with the value contained in variable v_delno.

Well using DMS is one way to get at these sorts of stats in a programmatic manner.
There's a Java API you can use, or you could call out to the Spy servlet to query the DMS stats in either text or XML form.
I don't have an MDB published so I can't show you specifiically, but here's the sort of query you can use to extract the data.

You can use the Spy console to find the table that contains the details for MDB and then take it from there.

we found out that interface_line_attribute3 coloumn is referenced with Waybill field at shipping transactions form. and this field can be seen at Line Transaction Flexfield at AR-Transaction Lines...

The problem is solved.
Here is the link >>
Table OBJK > give equipment number ->>>> this will give us a list of records.
Now go to SER01 > It will have only one record to get corresponding to value of different OBKNR received from filter. Means if we get 5 records from OBJK then out of 5 only one record will have corresponding record in SER01 and rest 4 records will not have any value SER01.
To understand the logic review function module SERIAL_LS_PRINT which works otherway round. It takes delivery and item number and gives us back serial number.
My requirement is otherway round but I know the path to get desired values.

From VBAK table with order number AUFNR, get notification no - QMNUM.
From QMIH table with this notification no QMNUM, get equipment no - EQUNR.
And then from equipment master EQUI, you can get the equipment categeory EQTYP from EQUNR

to get delivery, read document flow table VBFA for next document.... However, the error you're mentioning comes from incompletion processing....probably cannot create a delivery when the SO document is incomplete! Complete the SO document (by processing the incompletion data) and try again.

You can get the selected record to <ls_selection> structure in co phase 3.
From that structure you can get what ever field you want.,

How to get the number of decimal places configured for a site column

Hi,
I have a column 'SampleNumCol' of type Number, the number of decimal places to be displayed is configured as 2.
The column conatins a value, but when retrieved programatically is displayed as 5.00000000 instead of 5.00.
I am retrieving this column using listitem.Properties[field.InternalName].
I need to trim the decimals based on number of decimal places configured for the site column.
How to get the number of decimal places configured for a site column?

Get the field as SPFieldNumber and then check DisplayFormat which returns
SPNumberFormatTypes

The basic idea is to store all merchants and all transactions (which could be tens of millions in a day) for a day in memory and to update the merchant objects as transactions come in throughout the day. The above example shows updating just the merchant's average txn amount, but in reality, it could be updating a number of things about the merchant.
Am I using the api in the right spirit or is my approach seriously whacked? Can you please comment?
