How to get hyperlink on a webpage?

Hi,
I have a web page, which is a display page, displaying the value of the Z table. For which i have added a value node with all the fields of that Z table.
Now i want to display values of one column of a table as a hyperlink. The values of this column is a webpage which should get open using internet explorer. Can anyone help me?

Embedded PDF - How to get hyperlinks to work?

Using APEX 4.1 - about to go to 4.2, Oracle 11g, IE9
I have PDFs stored in a table as a BLOB. I display them inline with the EMBED tag on a display item:
RETURN '<object width="800" height="600" data="'||APEX_UTIL.GET_BLOB_FILE_SRC('P3_DIRECTIVE_PDF',:P3_DIRECTIVE_ID,null,'inline')||'" type="application/pdf"></object>';
The BLOB displays just fine. However, if the user has any hyperlinks within the PDF document you can hover over the HYPERLINK but you can't click on it (all you get is the stupid little hand as if you were trying to grab the text or something).
Is there any other way to display the PDF inline and get the hyperlinks to work correctly? When I use the file browse/viewer (which will display the PDF on a new page), the hyperlinks work just fine (so I know the PDF itself is okay).

For what it is worth, I duplicated the problem on apex.oracle.com
WORKSPACE: CHECKDATES
USERID: GUESTUSER
PASSWORD: PDFTest
If you look at the "View Page" tab, the summary report shows the PDF with the link "View Inline". The links work.
But if you select the pencil icon on the left, when the page is displayed and the PDF embedded into the page, the links don't work.

5/21/2013: I guess there isn't a solution to this problem? It is strange because when I embed the PDF into an HTML page without using the BLOB, the hyperlinks work. Which makes me think that something that the GET_BLOB_FILE_SRC routine is doing makes the hyperlinks not work correctly. SIGH.

How to get rid of Recently Webpages?

Hey everyone,
When I type in the website I want to go to in the Safari, for example I am going to www.yahoo.com, as I type "www." all the webpages I've opened before that start with "www." show up underneath. I want to get rid of those. I tried clearing the cache, resetting safari, clearing the history, and it still shows up. Any suggestions?

There are a lot of Urls that come along during the Installation of Safari, the automatic build in Urls. They keep showing every time you type any address into the address bar, an this can be very annoying. To get rid of these Auto Urls go into the Bookmark storage, thats the little open book on your left side. Open it, now search for ALL these Urls you don't need, like movies, shopping, music etc ... etc ...
After you finish, go to the Safari Menu Bar an clear the History, also go to: User/Your_Name/Library/Safari/History.plist trash this file. A new one will be regenerated as soon you visit the web.
Use a 3th party application like OnyX to clear History, recent visit Servers, caches etc ... etc ... this is FREE ware, you can download it here: OnyX

Transaction Iview -How to get Hyperlink

I have created an transactional iview and Need to know the path of the IVIEW.
I have multiple transactions and I need URLS for each.I tried preview in portal but it is not giving me specfic URL related to that transaction.
I am planning to put these hyperlinks in BSP application and which shows up in page .

I tried creating Quicklink and it would'nt work.
All I did a created a Transaaction IVIEW ZTEST and went to QUICKLINK option of that IVIEW and gave it ia MYQUICKLINK.
Our portal shows up with URL http://abc-dev.iofficexxxx-co.net:50000/irj/portal
So i did a append by adding '/' and Quicklink name( MYQUICKLINK)
like below **http://abc-dev.iofficexxxx-co.net:50000/irj/portal/MYQUICKLINK**
It just gets Universal work list ...which is intial pagae in porta.
What could be the issue?

I tried with URL from content admin and showed up.. like this but i am worried on preview in the URL do you think it is right approach to get URL because i will be moveing it QA and do you think after 50000/irj/ part will remain same?

How to get hyperlinks labels from javascript

in my jsp, i'm using custom tags to generate hyperlinks. Now what i want is to have the label of the hyperlinks in the javascript. How can i do that. I tried document.anchors but it gives me zero length array. Is there any other way of doing it.

JSP generates the HTML (and possibly Javascript) that the browser displays. Once the browser is displaying it, the JSP page's work is already long done, and is not "running" anymore. So there's no connection between your JSP page and what's in the browser.
JSP does not change how HTML works, only how it's generated.
Otherwise you are asking a Javascript question, and Java != Javascript, so you should go find a Javascript forum.

Try replacing the "html" at the start with "http",
so if you have html://somesite.edu,
change it to http://somesite.edu.

You shouldn't need any application except what you already have: iMovie, iDVD, iPhoto....

Try this:
Copy A Request Parameter - You can create a new bean containing the value of a parameter included in this request. If no parameter of the specified name was included, a request time exception will be thrown - therefore, it is common to nest the use of this tag inside a <logic:present parameter="xxx"> tag to ensure that the parameter was really included. If there is the possibility that more than one parameter of the same name was included, specify the "multiple" attribute (and the resulting value bean will be an array of String values, instead of a single String).

And then just use <html:link> with paramId. No java code at all.

I'm trying to turn off the pages in the navagation menu, and put my hyperlinks in the navagation menu where I want them. They look good and work well in iweb, and when i publish, they're not there.

Hi Jordyn. I'm assuming you're using Safari. Open it. On the top bar click on View > Customize Toolbar. You should see the address bar there and simply drag it where you want to place it in Safari. Hope this helps.

Thank you for your help, but I believe my questions remains unanswered -- mainly, because my English isn't the good.
Here's what I am asking:
1. I need something that is animated that blinks or flashes to alert the viewer to scroll down the page. I would put the wording: Scroll Down for more (and then an arrow blinks or gently moves up and down to alert the user to move down).
2. is there a way that the entire homepage on it's own moves downward?
