How to get Interface's Internal ID using substitution methods

Do anyone have any idea, how can I get an Interface's internal ID. Is there any substitution method that I can use to get the ID.
I want to use this ID in the steps of Knowledge Module (KM).

But querying SNP_POP to get the ID in a refresh variable will force me to create a package. I can't afford to do that because my KM will be used in several interfaces and packages. So, I have to find all such packages and add this variable in all of them which is a tedious task.

- the part of the EJB spec that deals with databases is called the Java Persistence API, but likely you are just looking for the JDBC API.

Why do you want to use javascript..? Why not action listener..? You can check whether its an empty string by checking
if(str != null && !str.equals("")) {..}
where str is the variable for inputText value.
If this is not helpful, do provide more details on which version of JDev you are using and what are you trying (your usecase).

I have a task to get Default Activity by Personal number for my third party application. Unfortunately function HR_READ_INFOTYPE is not allowed for Remote Call.
Is there any simple way how to get this value from system using BAPI? E.e. using RFC_READ_TABLE function(but i don't know table name ).

Does Firefox switch to full screen if you press F11 ?
You can also try the F10 key to see if that brings up the menu bar.

How to get zclass attribute's value inside "Execute_default" method

I am displaying a link in UD step under "Objects & Attachmnents".I am using zclass. I created a attribute in zclass and i am creating a instance (background task) before this UD step and i will be setting a attribute of the zclass inside this create instance method.
My problem is, if i click the link, this method "BI_OBJECT~EXECUTE_DEFAULT_METHOD" is getting executed but i am not able to get the attribute value inside this method, eventhough i am setting the attribute value before the UD step.
Pls let me know, how to get the attribute's value inside "Execute_default" method, as i need to process further using this attribute.
P.S: I tried with both static & instance attribute. I can achieve the same using ZBO but my client needs to use only class.

If you are concerned only about a couple of attributes, then you can manage with a separate copy of the data. But if the data is in bulk, better leave it to pl/sql side of validation.

Hi,
actually there's none. The UITableView class needs to "know" the tableView's height so either it can calc <number of rows> times <row height> or it has to sum the height of each single row.
If the row which needs to be of different size always is the first or the last row you can user a tableHeader or tableFoot view.

Use substitution methods in variable

Hi All,
How do I use substitution methods in variable? For example, I am trying to get a session number in to a variable.
I defined a variable and wrote the followign querry
select <%=odiRef.getSession("SESS_NO")%> from dual.
When I click on tick mark to check the syntax, it is throwing an error message saying missing expression. Please help me out. THank you!

Put quotes around the substitution method:
select '<%=odiRef.getSession("SESS_NO")%>' from dual
You will not be able to "test" this, you can execute it, and see what the result comes back.

We are using Substitution method to replace offsetting entry FRE with custom transaction key ZFR for all Finished goods for Purchase account active company codes.
But our requirement is to replace FRE only when it is an off setting entry for FR1 (Freight cost). Could somebody help me in including this additional condition in the Substitution method?

How to get and set graph propertis using UIGraph instance

I have added barGraph graph component on *.jspx and also added buttons like "Get properties" and "Set Properties". On "Get Properties" button action, I want to get all the attrributes of barGraph using UIGraph and also want to get "getGroupAttributes" and "getSeriesAttributes".
I saw examples on gettiing the Group attributes using the click event on the graph.
Is there any way to get the attributes on some button action like "Get Properties" without any click event on graph?

Hi Gopal,
You can call getValue on the UIGraph to get the GraphDataModel, then to use the data access APIs from there.
Once you get the DataAccess from the GraphDataModel, you can call getMemberMetadata to get the members on the row and column edge.
This method is documented in the interface CDFDataAccess:

I have two problems with calcalendar store framework programming.
1. I need all the event which are present in iCal calendar.Event may be present in year 2025 or 2050. and if the event is recurring then i need only one event.
2. if the event is recurring then i need only one event within the calendar event predicates (start date and end date). I am not suppose to give the occurrence date for event.
How can I implement this with CalCalendar store framework.

Per my knowledge, there is not a method to get all the recurring events using CAML query in one request.
