How to get Multiple Values for a single Variable in BPS.......

Hi Gurus:
I have a layout for planning, where I can plan for 5 days of the week. I also have a day column (yesterday) where I have the actual values. Users want to edit/foecast the next 5 days values. I am using a Variable to get the Date column which uses the System Date. However, since I am getting just one date in the Function Module (Code given below), the remaining days are greyed out and I can not enter the forecast values. I would like the same variable to get a series of dates in the same function module. What changes do I nee dto make in the ABAP code so that the remaining columns (Date) becaoe available for editing??
The FM code I have to get "Today's Date" is as follows:

I want to get the Yestarday's Date as weel as dates for next 4 days from Today for this variable which are being used in the layout. Can anyone suggest the code tor this please.

What I understand you need to return those dates from function module using parameter ETO_CHARSEL , right? If so just use this code:
ls_charsel-seqno = 1.
ls_charsel-sign = 'I'.
ls_charsel-opt = 'BT'. "we are giving ranges, so days between...
ls_charsel-CHANM = I_chanm.
ls_charsel-low = sy-datum - 1. "...first day is yesterday
ls_charsel-high = sy-datum + 4. "...and last day is 4 days from today
insert ls_Charsel into table eto_charsel.
This way you provide 5 days starting from yesterday till 4 days from today.

The problem I am facing is that if I do a session.getAttribute("cart"), I'll get a single value in return. What will that value be? Will it be "item", "submit" or "v"? And if I want all the values in v above, how can I get them?

None of the above.
HttpSession.getAttribute() will return what you put into it using HttpSession.setAttribute(). In your case, it'll return an Object which you need to cast to DummyCart. Then you can access the data in DummyCart using the API of the DummyCart class.

Any way to pass Multiple Values for a single Label in the Parameter?

I have a Report that Contains 2 Parameters, @Customer & @Area. When trying to set up the Available Values for @Area, I'm having issues using multiple values for one Label, i.e. = "4006" Or "4610"
One of the Filters in the Report is an Operation number, which is the [OPERATION] field, which is setup as a filter on the Tablix referencing the @Area parameter.
PROBLEM: I cannot retrieve any data when trying to use the ‘Or’ Operator here. If I simply put “4006” or “4610” I retrieve data, but when trying to combine it returns no data.
Example, I need to allow a user to select ‘Chassis Incoming’, which would include data from Operations 4006 & 4610.
QUESTION:
Any way to pass Multiple Values for a single Label in the Parameter?
I realize the typical solution may be to use ‘Multi-Value’ selection, but in this case we want the User to select the Area and the multiple values for Filtering will be automatically determined for them. Otherwise, they are subject to not getting

How to show multiple messages for a single exception

It has a class extending DCErrorHandlerImpl configured as ErrorHandlerClass in DataBindings.cpx .
Running the page and entering a value starting with "err" will result in an exception being thrown and multiple messages shown.

Looks like using MultipleMessagesExceptionApp-v0.01.zip in JDeveloper 11.1.1.2.0 (11.1.1.2.36.55.36) results in a different behaviour compared to when used in JDeveloper 11.1.1.3.0 (11.1.1.3.37.56.60)

When using JDeveloper 11.1.1.2.0 each exception seems to result in two messages where there is only one message (as intended/expected) per exception when using JDeveloper 11.1.1.3.0 .
(Could be somehow related to the question in forum thread "multiple callbacks to DCErrorHandlerImpl".)
But, question (q1) remains and is still about JDeveloper 11.1.1.3.0 .

How to allow multiple values in a single blank cell in WebI report

I am working in BO XIR2. I have a scenario as follows.
In a single cell (blank cell from template) i need to display multiple contact persons. When I drag the contact person name into the blank cell, I am getting an error: MULTIVALUE). Please let me know how to use a function so that I can show two or three contact person names in a single blank cell.
I tried to use Replace and Char function as follows to bring Carriage Return functionality to the cell.
Replace([Contact Person]; ";" ; Char(13)) but this did not work.

I know this thread has been answered. I recently came across a scenario where I happen to populate multiple values in a single blank cell(from templates). But the only catch being that if user enters multiple values for a prompt you can show them in a single cell eg: =UserResponse("Enter value(s) for Branch:"). would be the formula for the blank cell. Afetr the user selects three values say A, B,C, webi puts it in the format of A;B;C. in a single cell.
In your case try giving that as a prompt to the user or answer that multi prompt some how and when u use the above formula it should suffice your requirement.

Lets say the item that i selected from the list is 'Xplace' and I clicked on the Select District button,
what I got is this error message:

I presume you used triangle brackets (< >) to avoid having the Jive Forum think it was the "italics" tag?
Are you certain this: dbaseInfo.getcurrentDistrictID(nstate,vselectedDistrict);
expects a Vector as its second parameter? And returns a Vector?
I don't believe you've shown how you use the javabean, or its code? Perhaps it should be rewritten to accept an array of strings instead of a Vector?

HttpSession.getAttribute(java.lang.String)
Here's the scenerio. Its a already written application and now i'm trying to make some changes. earlier in the jsp page a combo box was used and value was retrieved in the servlet using the getAttribute method of Session. Now I'm using a html multiple selection list and have to retrieve all the values selected in the list in the servlet. Can anyone please suggest me how to do that. HTTPRequest class has a method getParameterValues which will let me do that but i have to do is using HTTPSession.

I'm not sure what you are trying to do. You can only use session.getAttribute to retrieve something that has already been stored in the session with a previous setAttribute. If you need to store multiple values under one attribute name using setAttribute, you can store an array, or an ArrayList or whatever type of Collection you want. The request.getParameterValues method is the only way you can retrieve form parameters than can have multiple values. If the servlet hasn't already processed these parameters and put them into the session for you, you have to use request.getParameterValues.

What is the prolem you are facing if you split the single date param as two parameters say startdate and enddate?
If you pass as single string then you might have to split the same at reciever end.
Are you trying any thing specific?

You can use the FM BAPI_OBJCL_GETDETAIL to fetch the characteristic values for an equipment from the table parameters ALLOCVALUESNUM; ALLOCVALUESCHAR; ALLOCVALUESCURR.
Or u can use the tables EQUI, KLAH, KSSK, AUSP, CABN

I'm pretty new to the SAP Security and have been working on the Basis sides...I created a new role in PFCG and added a few transactions (ME13) and clicked on the Authorizations tab. In there, the authorization tree is in yellow and red. After providing the Org Values, only the yellow lights remain (apart from the green one ofcourse). Now how do we get the values for the different auth obj fields that are in yellow... say for example

How to use multiple hierarchies for a single char in single query

Hi,
Is there any way that we can use multiple hierarchies for a single char in single query. I tried and it just allows me to select one hierarchy even if I use hierarchy variable.
I have a requirement where user wants to see information related to a cost center with different cost center groups in different hierarchies (every year has different cost center group hierarchies).
Suppose I want to see information related to a cost center from year 2001-2004.in these four year cost center may have been associated to different groups depending upon that year hierarchy. How can I do that?

Nope. Now way to do this.
There is always just one hierarchy assigned to a characteristic. And even if the hierarchy was time dependent, it only reads it for one key date and not according to transaction data.

Hai i have using the checkbox in for loop.
I need the urgent help from anyone,
for example in the loop there is having 5 checkbox if i checked 3 of the ckeckboxes and 2 of the checkboxes are unchecked. I need to get the values for checked checkboxes and unchecked checkboxes.
