How to get Premiere 6.0 to support .wmv files?

Premiere 6.0 does not support files with a .wmv extension.
That is to say, I cannot load wmv files into a project with this app.
[Hard to believe that such a high-profile application cannot support one of the most common video filetypes.]
My question: How can I get my app to support this file type? Is there some module, update, or extra which I could install to add this perfectly reasonable functionality?

I am using Windows XP, trying to convert the wmv file to an editable format, to correct for color, etc. and then use as an mpg or something else.
As for the codecs, I have no idea how to determine which codecs are used in any video file.
I do not typically work with wmv's; I usually use Premiere for editing new material to DVD. But the files I received were .wmv and were wanted for web use in .mpg or .mov format. More than anything, I needed Premiere to handle wmv's just enough for me to convert to a different format.
I have since used freeware to convert the files. But Premiere doesn't want to edit these files even in mpg format (no sound in Premiere, though the files themselves do have sound when played independently).

I'm really baffled as to how to get missing dates for each support ticket in my query. I did a search for this and found several CTE's however they only provide ways to find missing dates in a date table rather than missing dates for another column
in a table. Let me explain a bit further here -
I have a query which has a list of support tickets for the month of January. Each support ticket is supposed to be updated daily by a support rep, however that isn't happening so the business wants to know for each ticket which dates have NOT been
updated. So, for example, I might have support ticket 44BS which was updated on 2014-01-01, 2014-01-05, 2014-01-07. Each time the ticket is updated a new row is inserted into the table. I need a query which will return the missing dates per
each support ticket.
I should also add that I DO NOT have any sort of admin nor write permissions to the database...none at all. My team has tried and they won't give 'em. So proposing a function or storable solution will not work. I'm stuck with doing everything
in a query.
I'll try and provide some sample data as an example -

And in the overwrite case, read-only files should not be overwritten. If the duplicate(old) file is opened in windows (Win7) explorer preview, it is write protected. So, it should not be overwritten. I tried to get the '
FILE_ATTRIBUTE_READONLY' using MS API 'GetFileAttributes', but it didn't succeed. How Adobe marks the file as read-only for preview? Do I need to check some other attribute of the file?

Welcome to the forum.
As CS4 is no longer current, I kind of doubt that you will find the trial. You might try a site like ProDesign Tools, but most of their links are directly to Adobe's download site, so may not be of use.
I have not heard of any facility that maintains older trial downloads, but there are a few people here, who always surprise me with their "finds."

How to get all validate-errors while using insert into xml_schema when having a xml-instance with more then one error inside ?
Hi,
I can validate a xml-file by using isSchemaValid() - function to get the validate-status 0 or 1 .
To get a error-output about the reason I do validate
the xml-file against xdb-schema, by insert it into schema_table.
When more than one validate-errors inside the xml-file,
the exception shows me the first error only.
How to get all errors at one time ?

: Without the use of an addition WITH LINEFEED, the line end marker is dependent on diverse implicit factors such as the operating system of the application server, a profile parameter, and line end markings that are already used. For this reason, the explicit use of WITH LINEFEED is recommended, which renders the use of the addition TYPE for setting the line end marker obsolete.
The line end marker that is currently used can be determined for every open file using GET DATASET.

perform SET_FIXLEN(saplgrap) using '0' '060'. "put length of your line from-to

It will put space at the end of your line, according to the length.

I have encountered the following problem with the following JSP code:

thanks a lot for your reply. Please let me explain what I intended to do: I want to upload a file from the local machine and then read the content of the file. Therefore I need to the fullpath of the filename like /var/local/file.java instead of file.java. The latter is what I got.
The problem I have with your code is that the function like "request.getServerScheme()" is not recognized. Maybe is it because I didn't install servelet package? I only installed javax package btw. Also my application runns on Tomcat server if this could give you some information. The error message I had is as follows:
