How to get Request Variables in Variables-View

while editing a jsp-page i always can see the "Session Variables" in variables-view (left down corner of eclipse above tag libraries). also while working with forms i can see all available form variables for the as "Page Variables".
but what i really would need is to see the available "Request Variables" which are set by the action calling the page.
what do i have to do, to make this running?

It wont take much time .. so simple :- )
Create one os comand step
( for unix) Use
wc -l filename.txt > someoutputfile.txt
Now the number of lines in your file will be there in the output file ( someoutputfile.txt )
Step2 :-
Now use Cezar's logic to fetch the variable value ( file count ) from the output file .. ( select value for a variable from a file )
This will not take eeven a second to finish the job.

I am writing a small validator code which throws an exception,if the request is trying to submitted by xelsysadm.May I know how I can get the requester details (like key) in the validator code.
The validator API takes RequestData as a parameter but there is no way to get the requester details from RequesData object.Thanks in advance.

Hi Michela,
since the VI you want to modify is part of a Toolkit, I suggest you to copy the whole block diagram in a new VI and then save it in a new location.
Place the DB List Tables.vi on a block diagram, double click on it and go to the tab "Window -> Show Block Diagram "
Select "Edit -> Select All" to select the whole block diagram and select "Edit -> Copy"
Open a new VI and select "Edit -> Paste"
Save the new VI
In this way you can modify everything you want without overwriting the Toolkits VIs.

It would have helped if you had posted your code as CODE but as it is, I could hardly read it. My guess about what you are asking is, if you want a template to return a value, just write that value to the result stream inside the template.

i'm trying to get the request throughput and requests waiting data real-time data
through management mbeans... but i couldn't find any mbean that has methods relate
to requests data... if you know how to get these data, please help...thanks a

the same data as I saw on the "Performance" tab under "Monitoring" of a server
in the console.

How to get Request Offering from given Service Offering using Service Manager SDK?

Recently, I am working on application where I have to fetch all Request Offering from given Service Offering.
I can retrieve all Request Offering using following method of SM SDK :

But I am unable to get request Offering from given Service Offering as I am new to this platform. I have searched in web but can not find solution to this problem.
It would be great if someone guide for this problem or give me any suggestion related to this problem.

RequestOfferings are handled a little differently in the SDK, but fortunately, they're still backed by standard EnterpriseManagementObjects..it just takes a little work to get them.
There are a few ways you can go about getting a request offering's related service offerings. I'm going to show you the relationship route, but you could also use a type projection to achieve the same goal.
In your original post, you're simply retrieving _all_ request offerings..that's fine. If you wanted to retrieve a single request offering (as I do in my example) you need to find the request offering's identifier. This identifier is a pipe delimited string
of various values. The quickest way to find it, in my opinion, is to query the MT_System$RequestOffering table in the database, but you can also find it by looping through all the RequestOfferings returned by group.Extensions.Retrieve<RequestOffering>();
Anyway, for the following example to work, you only need your request offering's Identifier and your management server name. (Again, you could simply loop through all of your request offerings and retrieve the service offerings for all of them)
The comments inline with this example should guide you through the steps.

One of the best way to know which views to use is doing select * from dict where table_name like 'xxx';
For example in your case you needed to know about the indexes and triggers so

How to get Request message routed to ESB (Mediator)?

Hi All,
We are using Oracle Fusion 10.1.3.4 . We are using ESB (Mediator). Is there any way to get request message, that were routed through ESB?

Hi
In your code the NullPointerException is expected as the message context is null and not initialized before you call getMessage method on it.
You can use soap handlers (client/server side handlers) to add the headers to the message before it is sent to the server.
Soap handler has methods like below in which you can add the headers.
* Handles incoming web service requests and outgoing callback requests
public boolean handleRequest(MessageContext mc)
System.out.println("Soap message is: \n " +
((SOAPMessageContext)mc).getMessage() + "\n");
return true;
