How to get selected record details when single selection is used in a table

Hi All,
Inside a query region I have created a table using region wizard,for this table I have added a singleSelection Item. What I want is , on selection of a particular record i want to update or view that record in a new page , for this I have added update and view icons in each row.
But I am unable to get the particular selected record
OATableBean tableBean = (OATableBean)webBean.findChildRecursive("ResultTableRN");
OASingleSelectionBean singleSelection = (OASingleSelectionBean)tableBean.getTableSelection();
For this singleSelection object I was unable to find any method which will give the value of the view attribute associated with it.
Anybody any suggestions regarding it ?

Hi Anant,
here is how you have to do it
1) you need to enable PPR on that Singl selection , by changining the Action type =fireAction.
2) define the envent , EVENT
3) define paramters for that event. This is place that gives you handle to the Attribute of VO.
So you can define paremters such
Name = PARAM1
value =${oa.EqxContactPrivEOVO1.ContactPrivilegeId}
You can define as many paramters as you can for the vo field that u wanted to have.
Now in the procesformRequest() , all you do it handle the event EVENT and get the parameters
if ("EVENT".equals(pageContext.getParameter(EVENT_PARAM)))
String accountid= pageContext.getParameter("PARAM1");
You can refer developer guide for further details.

For getting the row index use the following code.
DATA lo_nd_node TYPE REF TO if_wd_context_node.
DATA lo_el_node TYPE REF TO if_wd_context_element.
DATA index TYPE i.
* navigate from <CONTEXT> to <NODE> via lead selection
lo_nd_node = wd_context->get_child_node( name = wd_this->wdctx_node ).
lo_el_node = lo_nd_node->get_lead_selection( ).
index = lo_el_node->get_index( ).
node is the name of the node which is binded to the table.
For printing the message u can use code wizard.
Press ctrl-F7. Now Select generate message.
IN this select the method REPORT_SUCCESS
In the code now u can give index to Message text Exporting parameter. Comment receiving parameter.
Write the whole code in onLeadSelect of the table.

How can I get selection screen elements and its table reference of a report ? . I tried rs_refresh_from_select_options. But I am unable to get the table and field it is referring to
For eg if my selection screen 1000 is
parameters: p_carrid type spfli-carrid,
select-options :s-_connid type sflight-connid.
is there any Fm or method which gives me what are the screen elements( p_carrid and s_connid ) and what table( splfi and sflight ) and field ( carrid and conid )it is referring to ?

When you get into defining internal tables you can determine those at run time with cl_abap_structdescr. The following is an example of how you might do that. You can loop through the "components_table" and evaluate each field of the structure in this way.

How to get selected Row Index in a table based ona VO?

Hi All,
I'm writing an ADF form wherein I use a VO based on a SQL query. I'd like to know how to get the index of a selected row. I havea selection Listener in place where I can print the selected Row's data using getSelectedRowData().toString() on the table.
How can I get certain Attributes from this selected row.
One solution I thought of is to get the row index and then read attributes. But I cant seem to figure out how to get rowIndex for a selected row. Any sugestions?

If your selected row is marked as current row you can use

add a transient attribute to the POJO entity and update this through a check box. The ensure you have autosubmit=true set on the check box. In a value change listener set or remove the row's checbox attribute value

How to get selected values (using checkBox) from DataGrid in flex.

i have a datagrid which is getting values from a XML file (getting this xml file from database using PHP and HTTP request in flex). i have created a checkbox in every row in data grid. and here is my requirement: i want to select tow or three check-box and would like to get all the values form that particular ROWs in some form , prefered arraycollection (such that i can pass this array directly to a bar chart) .. can some one help me as i am new to flex .

How to get selected row of an advanced table

I have created an advanced table with 5 rows and i can also add rows in that. Here my requirement is i want to get the data of a row which i have selected. There are 5 rows. i have entered data into all 5 rows. Suppose i have selected 3rd row i have to get that 3rd row. if i have selected 5th row i have to get 5th row.
Can you please guide me to achieve this requirement..

How to get the values in a single row without using union

I have a table with the following structure and data
empid     address     phoneno     emailid

1004               [email protected]
I need to have a result in this format.
emp id     address     phoneno     emailid
1001     xyz     1234234     [email protected]
1002          23434     [email protected]
1003     abcd          [email protected]
1004               [email protected]
I can do it using union however that gives a performance issues with a large table. So I wish to do using in any other way using lead or something, but with the complexity about the data, I couldn't do it.
Can anyone please help me?

Hello BW Gurus,
We are facing one serious issue. Here is the scenario.
1st time the Delta was init and for next consective two loads delta ran sucessfully... then next time delta got failed and the status is in red..... even though system started next delta loading and it has fetched the records and status is in green but not activated ,,,,,its happening still past one month so almost there are 20 requests which are to be get activatetd.
How to resolve this issue.
<b>And how to get the records of the partilcular day when the delta got failed.

Can you provide more details about your extractor and data targets.
Are you loading delta to an ODS ??
If you are loading to an ODS, The only solution i can see is to get the missing delta records via FULL UPDATE. Because if you delete the error request from ODS it will also delete the 20 successful requests above it.

Am facing the same issue stated above that I couldnt get all the records in the table that am querying in the Proxyservice.
For example:
fn-bea:execute-sql('EsbDataSource', 'student', 'select Name from StudentList' ) is the query that am using to fetch the records from the table called StudentList which contains more than one records like
Id Name
01 XXX
02 YYY
03 ZZZ
I tried to assign the result of the above query in a variable and while trying to log the variable, I can see the below
<student>
<Name>XXX</Name>
</student>
I want to have all the records from my table in xml format but it's not coming up. I get the value only from the first row of my table.
Please suggest.

I have a query which can contain 1 or Many records for each S.WAS_NO or APPL_NO even. A new record is created when the APPL_STATUS changes and a timestamp is created in APPL_STATUS_CHANGE_DATE.

To identify the user's selection(s) when the page is submitted, you would add the following logic to your processFormRequest() method:
