The file attribute details need to show in the report.
If any idea plz. Help me.

The attributes you can see from , go tofile part level in the directory. Place the cursor on file name and choose menu option
Log file ->attributes.

Assuming that you don't want to actually do this from within Java code (which would obviously require native code), here's a utility that will give you a list of which file handles are opened by which processes (on Windows):

I'm a little confused by the question, but it sounds like you're asking how to count the number of files with a particular extension in a given directory? That's not really an AI SDK question, but it's a fairly easy one to find if you google it. If you're trying to use Illustrator to do it, AI doesn't have a general purpose file API. It has a few functions to do some things that Illustrator needs, but I don't think enumerating directories is one of them.

Which basis release do you use?
From 7.0 you have [GET DATASET|http://help.sap.com/abapdocu_70/en/ABAPGET_DATASET.htm] statement
Before, you may only get what you see in AL11 : mimic what is in program RSWATCH0
Or you may register and use [UNIX commands (SM69 transaction / SXPG|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/en/fa/0971e1543b11d1898e0000e8322d00/frameset.htm]) and get the results

How to get the size of file

Hi
I want to know the size of the file from Java. ie If i have 10 lines in that file each of 15 characters
then 10 *2*10=200Bytes is the size. How will i get this?
More over, if i am reading the 4 the line, how will get the info that I have read 3 lines =3*2*10= 60 bytes so far?

This is from the JavaDocs on java.io.File
length
public long length()
Returns the length of the file denoted by this abstract pathname. The return value is unspecified if this pathname denotes a directory.
Returns:
The length, in bytes, of the file denoted by this abstract pathname, or 0L if the file does not exist
Any of the read methods (except readLine()) on the many stream objects return the number of bytes read, simply accumulate these returns to know how many bytes have been read.

ADF: How to get the attributes' values of one single row from a table?

Currently I have a table with 3 attributes, suppose A,B and C respectively. And I've added an selectionListener to this table. That means when I select one single row of this table, I wish to get the respective value of A, B and C for that particular row. How do I achieve this?
suppose the method is like:

well im trying to create JTable from a vector which will contain random Objects from random classes haveing random number of attributes for example:

String name;
String surname;

String author;
etc.
like i said i have a vector of such objects and wanna make a JTable from it... i tried to make it like this:
JTable table = new JTable(vector a, vector b)
but i get nullpointer exception because (i supose) vector b had objects of class x and it cant be converted somehow to JTable rows...
so im trying to make an array[][] which should contais all objects with all attributes of one of those classes
well i dont know if u will understand what im talking about cause my english sux...
anyway the problem is that:
lets say i have a vector containing:
new x(1,"a","b")
new x(2,"x","y")
etc
lets say my vector is v
how to get gor example any string from first object?
i had something like this:
v.get(i).getClass().getFields()[k]
where:
- i is the i element in vector
- k is the attrribute which i wanna get
i tried many combinations (after i get Field) but all i get was something like:

I am reading a .txt file from configured directory using File Adapter.
I had configured file adapter to read file with naming pattern “SalesOrder.*\.txt”.
Now I had requirement to access the actual file name in bpel process eg: “SalesOrder123.txt”
How can I get the file name in bpel process.
Any help is appreciated.

1) create a variable of message type. Click on Browse Message type. Here you select Message Type-->Project WSDL Files -->fileAdapterInboundHeader-->Message Types-->Inboundheader_msg. Then click OK
2)Next dbl Click on teh receive Activity which is receing your File from teh File Adapter. Go to the Adapter Tab. Click on Browse variable and select the variable that you had just created above.
This would get the File name in the variable declared

I have a table with two columns, Id and Name. Furthermore I have an outputText where I would like to see the field Name of the selected Row in the table.
How have I to set the property "value" of the outputText to do this?

Hi Andrea,
If you are using ADFBC, the easiest way is to drop the attribute(Say Name) from the data control palette as outputText component and add partialTriggers property of it to point to table id(to refresh the outputText whenever the row is selected in table)
