How to get the Confirmation message.

Hai all, In my application there is a delete button in a particular jsp page where a user on clicking this delete button can delete a task from a particular list.I had coded all the functionality for this button fine.But now i want a confirmation box to appear whenever a user clicks this button.The box should read like"Do u want to delete this task? If the user clicks "yes" then that should be deleted and if he clicks no,just quit.
I am not able to get an idea of coding this particular task and where to code it.I request your kind help in this regard.Plz help me in getting this code or just give me an idea.

Hmmm, I stepped away for a cup of joe in the middle of my reply and BOOM, there you were again.
The hyperlink link idea is even easier:
<a href="/<context>/confirm.jsp?id=xxx&action=xxx">Delete</a>Then have something like this in confirm.jsp:
Are you sure you want to delete this record?
<form action="/<%context%>/servlet/<%=request.getParameter("action")%>" method="POST">
<input type="hidden" name="id" value="<%=request.getParameter("id")%>"/>
<input type="submit" value="Yes"/>
</form>This way you can one single confirm page and you simply supply the id for the record and the servlet you want to handle it.
For example:
<a href="/<%context%>/confirm.jsp?id=5&action=DeleteUser">Delete</a>
Then you'd get:
<form action="/<%context%>/servlet/DeleteUser" method="POST">
<input type="hidden" name="id" value="5"/>
<input type="submit" value="Yes"/>
</form>
How's that?
