How to get the Events

Hi,
when submitting a form is it possible to get the list of events before they are running and is it possible to delete some of this events ?

"The current version of the Calendar SDK doesn't fully support the ATTACH property
as stated in RFC 2045. Only file URIs are supported. The SDK must be configured to
support the ATTACH property. This involves setting tmpDirectoryPath in the SDK
section of the Oracle Calendar SDK configuration file. See Chapter 7, "Oracle Calendar
SDK Configuration Settings" for more information about this setting. Temporary file
attachments will be saved in the directory specified in tmpDirectoryPath when an
event is exported.
When an event is imported or stored, the ATTACH property value is file location of
the attachment. The following is an example of the ATTACH property of an event to

When an event is exported or fetched, if the configuration setting tmpDirectoryPath
points to a valid directory, any attachments will be downloaded in subdirectories of

How to get the event before the session end?

Currently i using a connection pool (dbpool). I need to release my pool when user logout or closing the browser. I have a session that keeping the user information and the connection pool manager.
How i detect the event when session end? I need to know is that can catch an event and perform release() command before the session that store login information ended.
Or have other solution to release the pool (it acually is only 1 pool, it will close the pool when no user(s) using it)

you do not need to do this.
In your db code, when you use
conn.close(); your connection will be released to the pool.
If you do not do this you will get connection pool leaks.
There is no benefit in using a pool if you try and keep a connection for a single user, the idea is to SHARE connections between many users.
If you want to detect session expiry yoyu need to use a 'session listener', if you search the forums you can easily find out how to do this.
The main thng is NOT to tie your connections up in this way, you MUST use conn.close(); to release your connections back to the pool as soon as you have finished using them.

How te get the event of SAVE button in WDDOPOSTPROCESSING method

am using an application that was configured with FPM, and my question is how can I get the event wehen the user click on the save button in the method WDDOPOSTPROCESSING?
will explain again!
if the user click on the save button, how can I know or get the event in the WDDOPOSTPROCESSING?

just to make it easy for me, the save button has an ID , i dont know how to get that ID or where that action will be generated , i dont know where to implement my method, and this is the problem i dont know where or which method or class or IF will be genareted
the SAP Developper are taking this case into consideration , because normaly all the data will be stored first in a buffer table, and after the suer clicks on the SAVE button, all the data will bestored in the corresponding INFOTYPE using the CP of the person, but in case of some INFTYPEs that are specified with 'P' instead of 'CP' we can't use the SAP Standard methode insert_infty , and this is the reason why i believe that there must be an alternative way to save all DATA of all Subtable by clicking only once on the save button.
I foundout that the methode WDDOPOSTPROCESSING will be generated after clicking on the SAVE button, but as I said, i can't get the corresponding event ????
please is somebody has an Idea, am still interessted to get the solution.

How to get the event moment after a bottun and 2 validation windows?

We need to do something after the user press [add] button and after SBO insert OVMP/VMP1. But, right after the [add] button, there are 2 validation windows coming out. I need to get the moment after 2 [ok] selection and OVPM/VPM1 inserting. How to do that?

Try using the "pVal.Action_Success" for the item event - after the button is clicked/pressed. This will fire if the add/update logic is handled.

How to get the Events attachments?

I am using SOAP Api to fetch the Events, and i want to get the attachements and display them in a java interface.
Is possible to do this, using the SOAP Api or SDK API?

If not you can use image component with clientListener and serverListener to preform your requirement set clientListener click event and then inside clientListener java script method call the
serverListener then will execute serverListener method.

How do you get the Event folder date to match the media dates in FCPX

Modifying the clip date/time with the Modify command works fine ... but the Event itself still has the date the event was created, not the date of the media that it contains.
If tried using Touch on the Event folder but FCPX ignores it.
Any ideas on how to get the Event folder date to match the media dates (or set to any other date desired) so that Events sorted by date show the actual dates of the media that they contain?

How to get the tab when is it pressed?

I have the following situation:
I have an array of JTextField inside a scroollpane. The size of my array is nine or ten depends on some rules. But my window show just four JTextField. So I would like to know how to get the event when I press "tab", just to show the others JTextField while I'm pressing "tab". Because I need this event to scrooll down or scrooll up.
I tried the keylistener, but when I press "tab" any method(keypressed, keyreleased, keytyped) is called.
I also tried the focuslistener. If this event I could scrooll down or scrooll up, but I couldn't do both!!
Can somebody help me??

JTextField implements Scrollable interface, which provides information to the enclosing container such as JScrollPane.
Hence when the tab event is fired, you can compute the Rectangle area that should be visible and then call the 'scrollRectToVisible()' method in JTextField. This will inform the JScrollPane to scroll to the rectangle that you mention.

To put a monitor to the events occuring in the GHUI u need to register required components with the appropriate EventListeners.
Liek if u want to get notified when a mouse is clicked, then u need to add The MouseListener to the component which u want to be monitored.
Say
myFrame which is the JFrame object which shuld be monitored for the events.
Then in ur program u have to add following code
myFrame.addMouseListener( someObectReference );
Here the someObjectReference should be an instance to a concrete class ..i.e. U write a class like the following

I need to implement some control rules on booking conference rooms depending on the creation date and start date.
For example:
- the booking cannot be accepted if the meeting start date is less than 2 hours ahead
at 3:00 PM I can book the conference room for a meeting starting at 5:05PM
but not for a meeting starting at 4:55PM
- the booking cannot be accepted after 5:30PM for a meeting starting the next morning before 10:00AM
at 5:45PM I can book the conference room for a meeting tomorrow at 11:00AM, but not for a meeting at 9:45AM

For example:

You would want to implement these rules with with the sdk? That would implie that users connecting to the calendar server with any other client than the calendar sdk could still book these resources whenever they want.

How to get the ItemKey for a Workflow triggered by an event in Oracle Apps

I have added a custom sub process to the seeded "OM Order Header" workflow. The process sends a notification. There are a few attributes in the body of the message tied to this notification, to which I am trying to assign values to using the syntax:
SetItemAttrText (itemtype, itemkey, attrname, attrvalue).
I have the internal names for the item type and attribute name, but don't know how to get the value for the item key. I understand the item key is supposed to be unique for each item type and is automatically generated by the workflow engine when the work flow fires. Is there a built-in function or some means to get this value?

In the Advanced table have 2 LOV fields, I need LOV field value dynamically in the controller to validate the save button, if iam not selected any value in lov save button will not allow to save the data. 1. You can specify required property on LOV field to "yes". For events where you wish to disable the client side validations, set the property disable client side validation to "true".
2. If above behavior is not what you are looking for, then you need to handle in AM and not CO.
a. Call an AM method from CO.
b. In that AM method, get handle of VO.
c. Iterate the VO Rows and check for your validation rules.
