How to get to speak to someone, you know, on the p...

Can someone please help with a phone number?
I want to update my contact email address for online billing, as my previous email provider has folded. 
I moved to online billing 3 years ago and don't ever remember having logged on since - email came in, bill was paid by direct debit, that was that.  As such I have long since forgotten the password. 
This week I received a letter from BT telling me that the email bill had been returned as undeliverable, telling me to go to www.bt.com/youraccount (an address which doesn't work, by the way!) and implying that my services will get cut off if I don't pay the bills - which is laying it on a bit, since I've never failed to pay a bill and it's paid by Direct Debit anyway! 
So - I try to log in with my common passwords and none of those work. 
The password reminder gets sent to my old email address, which is about as much use as a chocolate teapot. 
The username reminder needs me to input a password, which I didn't know in the first place.
There is no phone number on the letter or made clear on the website, which is a source of deep irony for a telecoms service provider to not have a phone contact.  Lower cost to serve each customer, I know, but decidedly ironic nonetheless!!
So - any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

  • How to get sales invoice number when you know print spool id

    I'm using a version of program rstxpdft4 to download printed invoices to pdf.  I'd like to include the invoice number in the name of the download file, but I don't know how to determine that value.  I'm getting the spool id from table TSP01.

    In case of Support project, we get the high severity issues from users and needs to be closed withn 2 hours... so what we do we get the requirement from user and checking the same in production from our id, but we can not save the sales order as we are not authorized to do the same, so in such cases it is required to get the sales order number before saving... where we can guide the users.... but actuallly it is not getting saved in the table until and unless u save it manually. It works like a material master... when u create material master, the material number appears in advance in material number field "MATNR"
    If it is possible can you please suggest step by step to work on parameter in SU3 for sales order number before saving.

       Customer support is dire! I have spent long hours dealing with costumers service <whose only modes of help are sending me out to buy something new or provide me with a hyperlink to help page that was two clicks away anyway> Between thier lack of knowledge and SARCASTIC JABS it's amazing that I have retained my sanity. I won't go into details but I'll catch you up. 4 sessions in live chat with LOOOONG delay in between responses and I can not make recovery disc, my phono jack does not function properly, my system can not communicate MTP <you know, what you use to fill your ipod, and I kid you not there is a fan LITERALLY RATTLING AROUND inside my 2 month old notebook. So what do I do? I exhaustively seach for away to get a hold of customer service, and all I can find are blogs about how HP costumer service sucks. Bear in mind that I did not put suck into my search engine. I put "HP QA and HP customer service" into google and what returned was BLOGS ABOUT HOW HP CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS. Those were the most relevant results in google. So I finally come to this forum and find a thread about..........you guessed it hp customer service sucking.....but oh no an HP moderator locked it down and provided a link to the page where one can obtain the very customer service that has been deemed insufficient by the very COMMUNITY that it is supposed to support. WE PAYED YOU PEOPLE! YOU ARE HERE FOR US NOT WE FOR YOU.

    Depending on which version of Safari you are running the search is as Thomas states. The address bar is the search and address bar on Safari 6. Prior to that, one of two things will get it back.
    First is going up to the menu bar and choosing View>Show Toolbar. If it says "Hide Toolbar", then this isn't the issue and the toolbar is already present.
    Second. Assuming the first step didn't fix the issue, you can go again to the menu bar and choose View>Customize Toolbar. Inside the window that opens you should see a google search that you can drag and place back where it used to be on the toolbar area. Then just press "Done".

    Plug it into iTunes, Control-click on the iPod in the left frame and select "Restore from backup." Should put it back like new.

    Which security software (firewall, anti-virus) do you have?
    Try to boot the computer in Windows Safe mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen) as a test to see if that helps and allows to delete the Firefox program folder.

    You can't buy the part from Creative as a spare.
    I'm not sure how compatible other parts might be, but that would be a question for someone who really knows a lot about this area of electronics.
    The Creative repair for this is likely to be expensi've, but the problem is most likely a broken solder connection than an actual new headphone socket. So if you know someone experienced in surface mount soldering you could probably get it repaired just with this.

    Did you enable Siri in settings?
    Settings > General > Siri > ON
    If Siri is off, all you get when pressing the home button for 1 second is the old Voice Control.

    ...if you're running Mountain Lion. I'm in clamshell mode right now, so I don't have any mirroring options. AFAIK, there's no more "Show displays in menu bar" in Mountain Lion.

    The Retrospect you used way back when is no longer around. The company was sold and that company produced a new version of Retrospect - Retrospect 8.x
    So, as you've been told, you would have to be running a Tiger system with an old version of Retrospect software (5.x or 6.x - you would need to know) assuming you can find the software.
    As best I can remember you cannot extract files from a Retrospect backup except using the software since Retrospect did not normally make a file by file backup rather it created an archive of the files in the backup. I'm assuming that the EMC/Retrospect people have told you that old Retrospect backups are not accessible by Retrospect 8.x?

    Since I upgraded to the latest version of IOS, is worse. The wi-fi does not work anymore, 3G network makes it even more hard to get, some apps that should work, close or take a long time to load, even the screen to make phone calls has long recharge times. Do you have suggestions? Thank you!
