Please help me its urgent, Any code help is highly appreciated.
My xml file will be like this:
<ns0:Http_Message_Type_Demo
xmlns:ns0="http://abcdemo.com">
<Name>ABC</Name>
<RollNo>123</RollNo>
<Address>a-4</Address>
</ns0:Http_Message_Type_Demo>
somebody should help me!please
Thanks

Hi,
You can use HTTPServletRequest object to get the XML payload.
BufferedReader reader = request.getReader(); //gets XML payload
String line = reader.readLine(); // to read the XML payload line by line
(request is the HTTPServletRequest object)

  • How to parse the xml file using servlet

    My scenario is like this:

    How to parse that file using servlets.I should get the xml file as it is and should be displayed in the browser.

    Please help me!

    Download this java code
    http://java.sun.com/webservices/jaxp/dist/1.1/docs/tutorial/sax/work/Echo02.java
    in your servlet code you can write
    public void doPost(req,resp){
    DefaultHandler handler = new Echo02();
    handler.parse(req.getInputStream());
    Offcourse you will need to modify the code of Echo02 class a bit to suit your requirement which would finally retrun you a string and you can then write it using
    respose.getWriter().write(responseString);

    hi ,

    Shiva

    To do that you need to get the response output stream and write yur file contents to that.
    response.setContentType(mimeType); //Set the mime type for the response
    ServletOutputStream sos = resp.getOutputStream();
    sos.write(bytes from your file input stream);
    sos.close();

  • How to update XML file using XSLT

    Hi there,
    I have a "small" issue with exporting data to an XML file using XSLT.
    A two steps process is needed to import data from a non-hierarchical XML file into ABAP, change the data, and then update the XML file with new values. The problem is not trivial, since the format of the XML file is a complex one: there are many interdependent elements on the same level, pointing to each other by using id and ref attributes. Based on these values the data can be read and written into an internal table. I use XSLT and XPath for that. So the inbound process is done and seems to work correctly. I have to mention that the file contains much more data than I need. I am working only with a small part of it.
    Now the changed data must be exported back into the XML file, meaning that the content of certain elements must be updated. How can this be done with XSLT? I can pass only the internal table to the transformation, so how do I access the XML file in order to update it? I have tried to use the <B>xsl:document()</B> function to access the content of the file store locally on my PC, but it fails each time by throwing and URI exception. I have tried the absolute path without any addition and the path with the file:/// addition. Same result. Please advise.
    Many thanks,
    Ferenc
    P.S. Please provide me with links only if they are relevant for this very matter. I will not give points for irrelevant postings...

    Now the changed data must be exported back into the XML file, meaning that the content of certain elements must be updated. How can this be done with XSLT?
    XSLT approach:  check these online tutorial
    http://www.xml.com/pub/a/2000/08/02/xslt/index.html
    http://www.xml.com/pub/a/2000/06/07/transforming/index.html
    ABAP approach:
    for example you have the xml (original) in a string called say xml_out .
    data: l_xml  type ref to cl_xml_document ,
            node type ref to if_ixml_node  .
    create object l_xml.
    call method l_xml->parse_string
      exporting
        stream = xml_out.
    node = l_xml->find_node(
        name   = 'IDENTITY'
       ROOT   = ROOT
    l_xml->set_attribute(
        name    = 'Name'
        value   = 'Charles'
        node    = node
    (the above example reads the element IDENTITY and sets attribute name/value to the same)
    like wise you can add new elements starting from IDENTITY using various methods available in class CL_XML_DOCUMENT
    so how do I access the XML file in order to update it?
    you have already read this XML into a ABAP variable right?
    Sorry couldnt understand your whole process, why do you need to read local XML file?

  • How to get XML files out of activity diagrams of UML

    Using Rational Rose I have developed a model now I want a way to get XML file for each activity diagram of the model built. This XML file will be the input file for Project Cleveland which instantiates the services according to the documentation in this XMl file

    In the Photos mode go to the View menu and uncheck Event Titles. That will leave you with only thumbnails displayed in the Photos view. However, if you close from that mode and reopen the opening time will be slower since iPhoto has to read and render all of the thumbnails. It can get rather long.
    TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto (iPhoto.Library for iPhoto 5 and earlier) database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
    I've created an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger or later), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. It's compatible with iPhoto 6 and 7 libraries and Tiger and Leopard. iPhoto does not have to be closed to run the application, just idle. You can download it at Toad's Cellar. Be sure to read the Read Me pdf file.≤br>
    Note: There now an Automator backup application for iPhoto 5 that will work with Tiger or Leopard.

    I deployed my .ear file on BEA Weblogic application server9.0
    I found no error when i tested in SXI_MONI and RWB->Message monitor as well.
    This is my servlet code:

  • How to get the file using file adapter.

    Hi All,
    We have a requirement, IDoc -> PI -> JMS Adapter. Here the IDoc is in Flat file format. How can i consume Flat file version of IDoc into PI using Sender File Adapter for further processing..
    The Flat file version is been created within the SAP Application server "/usr/sap/SID/SYS/global"
    Do I need to specific Source Directory as "/usr/sap/SID/SYS/global" in Sender comm channel? How about the remaining parameters like authentication details?
    plz guide me..
    Thnx

    Check the below link:
    http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/e0901cba-f49e-2910-748c-d7ce4c0c4c1c?quicklink=index&overridelayout=true
    go to transaction AL11 and there you can find DIR_HOME with a path.
    D:usrsapPID..
    Double click on the filename, you would be able to view the file content.
    That path is ur Application Server path, there you can save your file. Then in the External Data tab in Scheduling screen select Application server and on the file name press F4 so u can get the AL11 files select that then double click DIR_HOME, select your file.
    It will ask for display contents or copy name. Give COPY NAME the file name with path will be copied.
    If we are using Sender File Adapter to consume the file then what should be the source directory (i.e., /usr/SAP/PID/Global/..)
    If you are on the same network then use File Aapter(NFS).
    Now, the path should be usrSAPPIDGlobal

  • How to download a file using servlet

    I have a problem about downloading a file using a servlet.
    Anybody can help me?
    Thanks

    I am assuming that you want to write a servlet that, when invoked by a user (for instance, through a URL link), will download a file using the "save as" dialog (on Windows, for example) in the user's browser.
    In such a case, all you need to do is get the OutputStream from the response object, set the proper MIME type header, and write the file. Here is an (untested, not even compiled) skeleton.
    public class MyServlet extends HttpServlet {
    protected void doGet (HttpServletRequest req, HttpServletResponse resp)
    throws ServletException, IOException {
    ServletOutputStream out = resp.getOutputStream ();
    resp.setContentType ("application/x-foobar");
    while (/* whatever */) {
    In this loop, you generate your "file's" data.
    You can compute it on the fly, pull it from a database,
    read it from a "real" file, or any other means you can dream up.
    The sample line below just writes some of the data (for example,
    a byte array) to the user's browser via the output stream out.
    out.write (data);
    out.flush ();
    Go to http://java.sun.com/j2ee/sdk_1.3/techdocs/api/index.html
    for the JavaDoc on the classes used.
    Cheers!

  • Import customs code list I0136 - how to get .xml file

    The code list I0136 from ATLAS is in format .tsv.
    It's possible to import the code list in transaction /SAPSLL/CUSCS_VMAINT, but you have to have a .xml file.
    Does anyone know where to get the customs code list I0136 in .xml or to convert .tsv into .xml without a special program?

    Hi Renate,
    where do you get this file in .tsv format from?
    I guess from a data provider?
    First thing I would do is to ask the data provider to send the file in another GTS compatible format.
    If you have no influence on the file format which is beeing delivered to you I would just convert those files.
    Easiest tool to convert those files with might be Excel since almost everyone is using it.
    You can import the .tsv into excel and save it as a .xml file afterwards.
    If you have trouble importing the file just check google (open .tsv Excel).
    You might have to tune several options during the import process but once you know the steps it should be easy for you to handle.
    Best Regards
