How to group all the reports and execute like single application ?

Hi,
I am trying to develop some reports in Crystal Reports XIR2 , here i have Design and Preview options that is for every report i should see , how to group all the reports and execute like single application?
any option is there to run the report
i mean is it possible to have a home page from there have links to each report and when i click on the link corresponding report should be shown , if it is possible , How?

what we decided to do is move all the Standard and ad-hoc reports from the basic cube to the multiprovider. How to do it? and make a copy of the basic cube and do the maintenence on the cube. please help.

Hi Les,
This sounds good and one thing we try to always keep in mind when undertaking such activities is to always minimise the impact to the user and make the process as transparent to them as possible. So lets say you have your multiprovider and copied queries up in Prod, these queries will still pick up the data from the base cube.
Now you need to make a copy of the base cube for some changes to the cube model, I would suggest that you copy the cube and make your changes on the copied cube itself. Then 9depending on the changes done) you can load data from Original Cube to New Cube. When this is being done, make sure that you change your queries to add a restriction on 0INFORPOV by Original Cube.
After the load to the new cube is complete you can run reports restricted to each cube to verify the numbers. Then change the 0INFOPROV restriction in the queries to point to the New Cube and disengage the old cube from the multiprovider.

Report : How to show all the reports in Content Management

Hi,
Can anyone tell me how I can show the "Resource Locks" Report in Portal.
I can see 4 reports through Content Management -> Reports i.e. Approval Maintenance, Link Consistency, Resource Statistics, Time-based publishing.
If I want to add more reports over here than "How I can achieve it".
Also I have seen the settings System Administration -> System Configuration -> KM -> CM -> Repository Managers -> Reporting Repository
But here I find no combo box for Active Reports, so from where I can activate the reports and show them in Content Management -> Reports
Please help me.

Are you talkign about the report which give you details of which Portal Objects are currently locked?
If yes, then you can go to System Adminitrator > Monitoring > Object Locking

I would suggest you to store them in a table instead and you can write a functin to retrive the error messages required.
But if your requirement is for 'Package' then assuming that you store all the error messages in a table 'error_table' (say) following code may help you .

How to delete all the events and create new events from scratch?

I have all my photos separated into albums and I would like these albums to be considered events in iPhoto. The problem is that there are already lots of events in my iPhoto library that are not "real" events. It just so happens they were uploaded at a certain time and during one of my upgrades of iPhoto all these different uploads became different events. Of course, there are some albums I would like to become a single event as well...but I am not sure how to strip all of my photos of events and then add the photos to new events?

Select all the pics in an Album and Flag them.
Then go Events Menu -> Create Event from Flagged Photos
A new Event is created that moves the pics from their existing Event
Unflag the Photos then move to the next album. Repeat.

How to view all the dashboard at user level.

I am using BI Apps 7.9.6.1. I have created all the reports and dashboards on prod. I am facing a problem like I can see all the dashboards and reports at Admin level. But while m trying access those reports and dashboards, I cant see only one of the dashboard.
I have checked all the privilege and responsibility for that dashboard.. everything seems to be fine.Below given my error details.

How to un-group columns on my the report and how to add an export to PDF

Hello OBIEE developers...
So, I have this report with about 7 columns, I just submitted to my boss he came back saying "Don’t group the columns, the users typically want to see data on each row".... I am not quite sure what in the world he is talkign about, do I need to report each separate or if separate how do start that? I am sorry I am new to this area, some of my questions might be senseless..
Also, on the same dashboard I am required to add an option where users can export the dashboard to PDF, how do I go about that?

Right, may be that's what I should have said: once you've opened the dashboard then I need to export it as a dashboard. How do I that? There is a way, my predecessor was able to do it. I have a report with a print as a pdf on the dashboard with pdf icon on it (its a separate dashboard from the report) and you are able to print it as the pdf doc. I just can't figure out how he was able to do this,
Any idea?

How to keep the report structures in all the report pages

I need how to design the rdl surface, to keep the table headers displayed on all the generated reprot pages,
Design: Please find the below id my report design, having 4 data tables bould to the tablix data region.
Header_Region
Top_Left_Table                     Top_Right_table
Rows|Rows|Rows                  Rows|Rows|Rows
Bottom_Left_Table               Bottm_Right_Table
Rows|Rows|Rows                      Rows|Rows|Rows
Footer Region
If i get more number of rows on the top_right table, i want this to be paginated for every 10 rows, to the next report page. and following bottom left_right table has to be populated with or without data, even if the above table gets paginated.
Problem:
If i get more number of rows in top right table section, my bottom tables are not displayed in the first page report, it is getting rendered once the after the top right table completes its population. hence the bottom tables are all moving to the 5th page
or above the pages.
Please help me in this design, how designed structure has to be printed in all the report pages with or without data.

According to your description, I understand that you want to display the four table’s structure on each page.
To approach your goal, you can utilize a list control to achieve this requirement, please follow the steps:
1. Drag a list into report body, right-click Details in Row Groups panel to select Group Properties….
2. Click Add button, then type in expression =ceiling(RowNumber(nothing)/10) in the textbox.
3. Drag the four tables into this list control.

Hi,
You can use the statistics Cube 0BWTCT_C02. To get the Frequency of how many times a report has been executed, drill down the particular report by 0CALDAY and the frequency in 0FREQUENCY Keyfigure.
Make sure the Cube is loaded,

There are Parameters DESTTYPE, DESFORMAT and DESNAME. You can set these parameters to get as you want.
1) Output in Excel File
     ADD_PARAMETER(PL_ID, 'DESTYPE', TEXT_PARAMETER, 'FILE');
     ADD_PARAMETER(PL_ID, 'DESFORMAT', TEXT_PARAMETER, 'DELIMITED');
     ADD_PARAMETER(PL_ID, 'DESNAME', TEXT_PARAMETER, '<file_name>.XLS');2) output to printer
     ADD_PARAMETER(PL_ID, 'DESTYPE', TEXT_PARAMETER, 'PRINTER');
     ADD_PARAMETER(PL_ID, 'DESNAME', TEXT_PARAMETER, '<printer_name>');3) Email - Have to configure SMTP and all. ( i didn't checked it)
