How to handle an error while using classes.

Hi gurus,
when i tried to copy the code from function module into report and execute it, it is giving some error message as
Error: components of classes declared using u201CCLASSLCL_TREE_EVENT_HANDLER
DEFINITION DEFERREDu201D can only be accessed after you have defined the class
(CLASS LCL_TREE_EVENT_HANDLER DEFINITION)..
i included the declarations include and forms include which are standards.
i copied the function module 'HR_CH_PERS_FILE' to get the employee infotype details in tree structure.

You must put the INCLUDE that contains the class object instantiation code (CREATE OBJECT) after the INCLUDE which contains the CLASS DEFINITION.
This error is coming due to the fact the your program is trying to create an instance of the class whose definition is not found at the time of the instantiation.
That is
Before you write
DATA obj TYPE REF TO cl_XXXxx.
CREATE OBJECT obj.
You need to have
CLASS cl_XXXxx DEFINITION.
ENDCLASS.

How to handle user exits while using BAPI

HI experts can any one help me on how to handle user exits while using BAPI. Do we need to handle it explicitly or standard BAPI will take care of it??.

If you have added some fields using append structures for screen enhancements, then you have to use appropriate user exits to fill these data while calling BAPI. Some BAPIs have EXTENSION structures to fill the custom data which can be processed using user exists or enhancements.

How to handle the error when using Connection.setAutoCommit()

I use Jboss's datapool to realize the connection to Sybase
Database.And after connected to the database I wrote "con.setAutoCommit(false)" then the error occured.
The error is "java.sql.SQLException: JZ0SJ: Metadata accessor information was not found on this database. Please install the required tables as mention ed in the jConnect documentation."
I think it is because there is something wrong with the
configuration of the database but can not handle it .So please
help me,thank you!

help me,thank you!Most likely it means that your either DB or JDBC driver doesn't
support transactional approach, I mean: commit(), rollback() functions, so it reports setAutoCommit(false) as errorneous situation.

Since the Flex Test Drive is sometimes out of sync with flash builder 4, I recreated a project using other help pages on Adobe site :

As suggested, I used the New Project wizard to create a new project, with :
Application server type : J2EE
Check the radio button "Use remote object access service : BlazeDS"

"Error while using XML iview" with XML iview template

Our portal platform: HP-UX, WAS 6.40 JAVA, EP 6.0 SP14
We created an XML iview using XML iview template and configured the XML source URL with RSS feeder addresses such as"https://forums.sdn.sap.com/rss/rssmessages.jsp?forumID=41". And then select RSS to XHTMLB as the XML transformation format and save. When I try to preview the iview, I always got error "Error while using XML iview, please contact your system administrator". Here is the log and among which I found an error "java.net.UnknownHostException: news.163.com". Does this indicate that the Portal server is not able to interpret the address of the URL host?

I am facing below mentioned error while using '*'in the NTE (EDI 850) Segment where '*' is also used as Data Element

For Eg: NTE*GEN*My Text *goes here
Here, NTE02 should be My Text *goes here. So, how can I use "*" here without changing anything in the EDI message?

Sorry, no.
X12 does not support an escape character so whatever is used for delimiters become reserved characters.
If you want to allow '*' in the data, you will have to chooser a different Element delimiter. The receiver should read the from this from the ISA Segment so it's supposed to be dynamic but that's not always the case in practice.
