How to Handle Automatic Skip Property of Item in Oracle Forms through Custom.pll or from other methods.
This is a enhancement requirement.
When ever user enter value in field 1 then automatically cursor should go to next field.

You can create a trigger(when-list-changed) for each list item where you could:
1.recreate the record groups and then use POPULATE_LIST so you can hide the selected values. In forms builder online help there are some good examples about create record groups dynamically.
or
2.you can perform a validation instead of hiding the selected values. If the values is already selected the display a message 'Value already selected....'
Second option is much faster(only an 'if clause')

Thank You To reply, Actually doing so as you said,My problem would not be solved.This would hide data in text item than I will not be able to copy that but in my case the data should not be concealed.Actually I have to make a Form to User registration and here is a strictly boundation to have a right email address of user.There would two text items for this purpose as: N_User_Email------> to type email address in text item.Here user would not be able to copy text written from N_User_Email R_User_Email ------> to type email address again as in N_User_Email.

How to handle Automatic stock determination in Program

Dear All,
I have devaloped a report which will display the list of Production order based on sale order and its Items given in the selection screen in a pop-up to select output.Here when i check the production order it ll generate Goods Issue for the production order using 'BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE' (Bapi for t-code MB11) here how i can handle automatic stock determination if stock is not available in Storage location.
any idea about FM bf_stock_determination and how to use it, sample codes and any other ways to handle it.Because in Migo there is a Automatic stock determination icon which will fitch the material fron different storage location.

I have a text item in a form.I want that the doc_id i.e the text item should be automatically populated with the help of sequence.I have created sequence named seq_doc_id.on which trigger i should write the code so that everytime the doc_id gets incremented by one. however due to navigation problems the trigger fires when it should not
the result is I got holes in the sequence.
Is there a system variable status to check with an If test

I am using OLE DB Source to fetch the records with Data Access Mode as SQL COMMAND which is using the below query with a parameter,

In this query for the parameter I am passing the value from a variable and which is configured (XML Configuration). While passing value
Buyer it works correctly. But while passing values Accountant,Buyer
it is not working as expected.
How to handle while passing such multiple values Or is it possible to pass such values or not in SSIS 2012 ?
Kindly help me to find a solution.
NOTE: I placed the whole query in a variable as a expression as below it is working fine.

Any other solution is there ? without placing the query in a variable. May be a variable can have some limitations for no. of characters stored not sure just a thought.

Putting the whole thing into a variable is certainly a valid solution. The other involves putting the comma delimited list into a table valued variable.

How to validate a text item/display item in Oracle forms 9i?

Hello Everyone,
I have a form in which we have to type in a product_id as shown below in the screenshot. And when we type in, it has to get validated.
If it is valid then ok, else display a message saying not valid.
How do we achieve it on a text box/diaply item in the form shown below.
Any kind of help would be really appreciated.

Just create a when-validate-item trigger for that text item and write the code inside to validate it.

I created one form with one list item named "Country".. This list item shows country name for the particular employee in the employee table.I created this list item as database field. In the enter query mode i search an employee , This should act as item text.. Suppose i want to add an employee in enter query mode then i fill all the necessary fields,and
when i click "country" list item it should display all the country names from "country_tab" table..So based on the situation
this should act as list item and item text.. Can i Do this ?.. Pls help me.

I simply explain my requirement:
I want to insert data and quering data by using single form...So, I created one form with data block. This form created from employee table.I have one text item in this form named country.This is database item.
Ok ,Now the actual problem comes.I press "Enter query" in tools menu,Then enter one employee number in employee_no field.after i press
Execute query In tools menu. It shows all the details corresponding to that employee..
Note: here "country" text item also shows employees country.
Right, Now i have another requirement. In the same form I want to insert a new employee. For that
I planed to changes country text to list item [ because when insert i can easily pick up one country .it
reduces typing work ] . I have another table "COUNTRY". Using this table, i should populate country list item..
So, the country item should act as both text item [When quering] as well as list item [ When inserting ]
Is there any idea ti do this ?
If this not possible then what is the alternative ?

How to handle tables data in XML schema based adobe form

Hi all,
I am working on the CRM business partner creation by using Interactive adobe form with following steps:
1) Uploaded the offline Interactive adobe form to online interactive adobe form via WebDynpro ABAP;
2) Capture XML data into corresponding BAPI structures;
3) Save all the changes to database via BAPI.
The adobe form contains customer information as well as several table views which are bind with the context created in WebDynpro: Node NEW_BP_NODE cardinality 1:1 with single attributes and table type attributes (1:n): COLOUR_COMP, MEN_COMP etc.
While converting the xml format data to SAP context format, It is fine to use following routine to find the single attribute and map to the BAPI structure to do the database update.
NODE = DOCUMENT->FIND_FROM_NAME( NAME = 'XYZu2019).
XYZ = NODE->GET_VALUE( ).
Question: how to convert the xml table data to SAP context format in WebDynpro ABAP?

Hi,
Just follow these steps:
1. Create interactive form UI element in your view.
2. Now provide Datasource and PDFSOURCE to it in form properties.
3. Now give a template name prefix with 'Z' or 'Y'.
4. Double click on it. It will prompt for interface name.
5. Provide interface name prefixed with 'Z' or 'Y'.
6. Click on Context button in the Pop up window and provide the node you have selected as DATASOURCE.
7. Click ok and it will open the form designer.
8. In this way you can create a XML Schema based Form.
9. Activate the interface and design the form providing layout type and other details.

How to get updated value at run time in oracle forms

How to get updated value form oracle database on a field in oracle forms 6.0 at run time if the same form is opened by multiple users and both have get the same maximum value if one commit the record then how other would get that maximum value with out exiting that form...

This issue is fairly common and Forms handles the situation by displaying the error, "Record has been updated by another user. Requery to see changes." if a user tries to update a record that was updated by another user.
If your data is in a base table block, you can check before you save by checking the value in the form against the database using the Get_Item_Property('<BLOCK.ITEM>',DATABASE_VALUE). You can compare the value returned by the built-in against the value in the field to see if they have changed. This could be a lot of work and a lot of network traffic if you are checking numerous items in your data block. Forms has a standard locking mechanism that will lock the queried record as soon as a user makes any changes. If another user queries and attempts to change the record locked by another user - they will receive a "Record Locked" message.

Problem with List Item in oracle forms

Now I have made an oracle form having data block tbl_address with base table name tbl_address. In the form there are two list: one(list_state) for State_Name & State_ID and another(list_city) for City Name & C_ID display.
Here I want when I set State_name to ASD then List item list_city should be populated with the values having State_NAME=ASD not of State_Name=XY or None.I have tried it to make but not succeeded.I have made a procedure to populate list_city list item as:

You cannot do any operation on forms label
other way is to use non-database Display items to show you text.... or if you are looking to hide the prompts of text fields then you can set it to null or hide the text item completely

currently, my program only can delete the statement [START_TERMS] and [END_TERMS].

How to replace that two space area in oracle form ?
