How to handle the whitespace in receiver file content converion

Hi Experts,
In Receiver file content conversion we are facing issue with white space charecters- lets example value -999, but in receiver field fixed lengh we have defined as 20 lengh as per the requirement. But, in the output file we are getting [negative sign taking as first char and value filling last] - ********* 999. ****** are white space charecters.
Is there any content conversion paramter for avoiding this type of white space charecters in receiver file content conversion ?

I presume that there is something missing UDF coding as per the below.
please advise on this.
input to conversion of 437.72- to -437.72 is mapping is executing correclty. but, receiver file content conversion we have defined as amout value as 20.
so -ve sign taking first place char and remaining moving to last charecters, and whitespaces are filling in the middle.
Now i need to do the trailing of white space charecters. I have tried all above suggested options but nothing works.

But with the same result / Exception (I have signed the Jar file!)

In File to Idoc scenario even though you selected apply control record values from payload and you are not getting those correct values which you have provided in the mapping.
Also check the checkboxes Take sender from payload and Take receiver from payload along with the Apply control record values from payload checkbox

Can somebody tell me how to handle the java.policy file?
I always get java.net.SocketExceptions and java.security.AccessControlExceptions while connecting to an appserver from an applet.
What do I have to write in the java.policy file, where do I have to place it and do I have to call it in some way form my applet?

The java.policy file goes in your jre installation directory in .../jre/lib/security (there should be one there already).
I used it to allow otherwise restricted permissions for an applet using javax.comm. Add something like the following to the file:
grant codeBase "URL:http://yourDomainName/rootDirectoryOfYourApp/*" {
permission java.security.AllPermission;
This will give the applet downloaded from your site all permissions. You might want to give only certain permissions, I don't know.

How to handle duplicate messages in J2SE File scenario

Hi,
Is there any way to handle processing of duplicate messages in J2SE File adapter scenario?
Here is the scenario ,
Steps :
1. Engine picks up a message and checks the size of it.
2. Before reaching the checking interval , the adapter(file) was terminated unfortunately.
3. J2SE engine was restarted.
4. Previous file was again picked up and sent as the first time with one msgID.
5. After sometime, same file was picked up with a new msgID
6. System gets only ONE configrmation that file has been successfully transfered.
So we find two messages containing the same file.
I have checked in J2SE doc, there is a parameter called "db.exactlyOnceErrorInPendingState" which is related to DB.
Is there any similar parameter to handle the duplicate messages in FIle Adapter scenarios of J2SE Engine.
Please help me in this regard as it seems to be a new thing in J2SE AE.

This is because the legacy SAP adapter accepted RFC messages with date field empty. In the new version, the same call results in an error. WCF-SAP adapter doesn't allow blank XML nodes.
You need to use the below custom pipeline component as a workaround.

What do you want to do next? You can create a DSMCCObject that refers to one of the files in your carousel, and use this to control the loading and caching of that file. To actually read a file, however, you will need to create a FileInputStream or RandomAccessFile that refers to that file. You can then use this like any other file access.

how to handle the OK button of the parameters prompt of a crystal report in vba.NET?
I want to use the parameter prompt from the crystal report itself and I want to know when the report is ready. I need to export programatically by sending email to a list of employees after the parameters has been set. The emails I send depends on the results of the report.
Im using a CrystalReportViewer control in VS2010 and Crystal Report for VS2010 v13.0.1.220.

Right. But the parameter screen is driven by the viewer. Unless you create your own parameter screen and pass the parameters to the report via code.
Another thing I am not sure about:
"Then by code I want to read all the employees id from the report and send email to them with specified pages of the report. (1 page per employee)"
How do you plan on reading the employee ID from the report? I am not aware of any API that will read a value in a report so that you can then decide what page to send to whom.
I think you're approaching this kinda backwards. A question to ask is; can you do what you are trying to do in code in the CR designer? If not, using APIs will not work either. I suspect your approach should be a report that uses an employee filter. Run the report for employee x, get the report populated with the data for that employee and email it. Repeat for employee x1, employee x2, etc.
