How to hide a screen on button click

In my Public bmitest() i have
btnSave = new JButton("Save");
content.add(btnSave);
btnSave.addActionListener(this);
and i would like it so when this button is clicked it will hide the current JPanel.
In my action performed i have it so this button also saves a fw things.

Sorry, but there is no way to hide it. At least not using Captivate as it is out of the box.
Maybe one of the Flash savvy folks knows a way. But that would require knowledge of Flash as well as how it interacts with Captivate to accomplish.

How to Assign User name and password to the login screen on button click without user type...

Hi,
My requirement is as follows,
I have three inputs which is User name, Password and URL. URL may be like anything like for example gmail,yahoo,hotmail like that.
No need to authenticate the URL. Just i want to place the credentials in User ID and Password controls.
On button click the URL should open in browser and the credentials should place in the controls in log in page.
How to achieve it. Ultimate thought is the user should know the "Password",only admin know the password.

Hello,
If URL's are internal (not third party) then you can do this by modifying both applications. If you are trying to do this with third party then you have to contact product owner. I don't think there is any code or solution for third party application where
you can set values of controls.
For internal URL's you can create custom web service and call this web service in both the applications. One to get value from first app and then second to set value in another app.

Hi,
Looks like you have written wrong way.One important thing here is the field name you are passing to SCREEN must be screen field name.
Open your screenand goto menu bar and put the curson the field, which you want to hide. Click F1 help and then Technical Help. Your you will able to screen field name.
Check whether the screen field name is EKKO-EKORG or not.
Pass this screen field name to SCREEn inthe below logc.
if ekko-ekorg = '0001'.
loop at screen where name = 'EKKO-EKORG'.
screen-active = 0.
modify screen.
endloop.
endif.

How to hide contents using toggle button

I am new to sap ui5. I have scenario where i have a matrix layout and some contents in it. There is also a button which on click should unhide the contents like label and textfield inside the same layout along with other contents. I see there are ways of doing it through css3 or jquery, how can i hide and unhide contents with a button.

You can hide content inside your layout in so many ways.
1. Give id to your controls.
    On button click you can get that control by using
    sap.ui.getCore().byId("id").setVisible(false);
2. If you have bound your controls inside a parent control.
     Give Id to your patent control.
     Use method findElements() to get the child elements.
     This will return the array of child controls.
     Hide the element at particular index using array[index].setVisible(false);

How to hide/remove the 'Delete' button for a particular role

We have a role that can only Create and Edit the Accounts, Contacts, Opportunities, & Leads. So I modified the Default and Owner Access Profiles for that role and changed the Access Level to 'Read/Edit' for each of the above mentioned Record Types.
When the user is logged with this role they can see the 'Delete' button on all the Record Types. When they click on the 'Delete' button they get the 'Access Denied' message. Thats fine, but how do you hide/remove the 'Delete' button for this role so they don't try to click it.

At this time it is not possible to hide/remove the "Delete" button. This functionality is on the roadmap.

I need to create a executable program ZPROGRAM with a table having field to store long text.The ALV report should display records according to the selection screen parameters with a icon in each record when clicked should open a new screen with present data in the field and must be able to save the entered long text.

Andreas, I think he's asking how to hide the OC4J Windows Batch window that appears when you want to run a Web forms Application Server instance on your Windows platform in order to test your forms.

You can make it start minimized if you alter the OC4J shortcut properties, setting the Run property to "Minimized". That makes it appear minimized on the Windows Taskbar. I don't think you can have it running without appearing there.

How to hide the standard save button

Hi gurus,
I am using the javascript below in my BPS Web Ap to perform a check function on save. The Javascript runs the check function and then simulates the pressing of the standard save button. It works fine.
My problem is that I now need to hide the standard Save button as I don't want users to press it, just my code. But there is no option in the application builder to hide those standard buttons.
Is there some other way I can hide it? Or is there some way I can perform the save from JavaScript without having to have a Save button?

BDC - How to ignore skipped screens when user click on back button

Hello all,
I am working on a module pool program. From this custom transaction I am calling a standard SAP screen using BAC call transaction. I am calling this screen by skipping 2-3 screens and user can directly see the 3 screen on an event on my custom transaction.
Now my issue is whenever the user want to back, he clicks on back button then user have to back from all the screens that I skipped.
Is this any way by which if user click on back then he can directly go to my custom transaction.
Please suggest.

To open Classification screen directly we have a function module CLFM_OBJECT_CLASSIFICATION. But if I want to open IA06
Inspection characterstics screen we don't have any FM or API to do the same.
So how will I get my requirement done. That why I use the BDC call transaction to open IA06 Insp. characterstics screen but here I am facing this Back issue.

How do I make my next button (click box) dependent on other actions?

I have 5 click boxes on one slide, where each reveal certain text. I want all to be clicked before my manually created next button (an image + click box going to next slide) appears.
I want to create a condition saying click boxes 1 - 5 must all be clicked before the next button appears. How can I do this? Thanks.

You're going to run into some issues trying to do this with click boxes because by default as soon as you click one of them it releases the timeline pause and the project will continue to play. There is a work around for this that involves some fancy Advanced Actions to rewind the playhead slightly so that you jump back before the pause point again, but I actually prefer to do this sort of thing another way.
I use Event Handler widgets to register the clicks on some other object such as a caption or highlight box or image. I can set the widget preferences to Disable Continue and Reset Success Fail Criteria After Action. This allows my users to click away on the objects forever if they want without releasing the playhead. Best of all it only takes seconds to set this up. Doing something similar with Advanced Actions requires you to build extra clauses into other actions you need, and then sometimes you run into issues with the clickboxes not resetting their success/fail criteria unless you re-enter the slide.
Whichever way you go, you're going to need to first Hide the navigation button on the slide (set its Visibility to unchecked) and set up some user variables (one for each object where you want the user click to be tracked) with initial values set to 0.
You also need five Conditional Advanced Actions (one for each object) that have two sections. The first part assigns the relevant user variable to 1 when its object gets clicked, and then it moves to the second part which looks for a condition where all of these tracking variables are set to 1, and if it find this, then it Unhides the button that allows the user to jump to the next slide.
Set each interactive object (widget or click box) to execute their relevant conditional advanced action when clicked.
That should do it for you.

In my Application, I've already create tool bar and menu bar at the top, a navigation panel on the left, and a working area in the center. I have an introduction page in opening my application, but I have a problem, when I click a new project button in my navigation panel to show a scene in working area.. a new scene display separately with main window.. I want that scene integrated with main window, can you help me to solve this problem?
