How to hide classes packages in the applications navigator

Hi everyone, i'm just starting with jdeveloper10g (10.1.3) and i'm wondering why, when i build my application, jdev puts all the classes in [applications/workspace/project/application sources].
I don't want to see them and i don't find how to hide them.
Is it a feature ? :)

You can set this up by using the Working Sets feature in your project properties.

We have our source code in the following structure.
C:\somefolder\project\java\all_the_java_code_under_this_folder
C:\somefolder\project\sample\java\all_the_sample_java_code_under_this_folder
In the project content, I select C:\somefolder\project folder so that the code under java folder and sample\java folder are picked up. But In the Application navigator, I would like to see the folder names (java or sample\java) so that I know which files I am working with. The package names could be the same, so I cannot identify files based on packages. The application navigator will display only the last part of the folder name (in this case, it is java). This is useless for me, because that part is the same as you can see from above.
Is there a work around for this problem, so that it is easier to navigate between files.

At the top of the application navigator play with the folder icon and with the number next to it, and see how they effect the display.
You can also try the system navigator as an alternative view instead of the application navigator.

Another approach:
Open view CRM_WORKAREAHDR/WorkAreaHeader and change the configuration. There is a button in the bar named "Attributes" (probably hidden under MORE).
Once in there in edit mode substitute the content of attribute "UI_COMPONENT_3". It should be
Window=CRM_ALLSEARCHES.CRM_ALLSEARCHES/LauncherWindow;horizontalAlignment=right;
put there a
Width=0px;
The other way using business role is fine as well.

If it's an IMAP type account then you should get an Edit button at the top of the list of folders that you currently have on your email account. If it's a POP type account then you won't get the Edit button, and you are limited to your existing folders

The simplest approach is to only have the latest version of Java "enabled".
A fix, step-by-step, is as follows:
1. Close all browsers;
2. Make sure you are running latest version of Java (check this via Java Control Panel in Windows Control Panel, or, more simply, just download latest version from Java.com) (as of today's date, the latest version is 1.6.0_14);
3. Open Java Control Panel (via Windows Control Panel);
4. Go to "Java" tab;
5. Click on "View" in "Java Applet Runtime Settings" of that tab;
6. Uncheck "Enabled" for every version of Java listed EXCEPT for the latest version;
7. Click "OK", etc., and thus close Java Control Panel;
8. Restart browser(s);
9. Done.
Alternatively, you can Uninstall all earlier versions via Windows Control Panel - Programs and Features (This is in Vista; similarly in other Windows versions)... Select previous versions and uninstall them. Leave the most current version.
This was a puzzling one, at least for me. Took a while to figure out.

How to Hide HTML code of web application (applet)?

On web, while running application, if user open View\Source from browser, he can see all HTML code (base_jini.html). The problem is that we can't afford to show source code to client, because it has DB connection inf (username/password) as well. How this html code can be hide from client machine?
I think, i convey my prblom. If not, please run any web application and try to see source code from browser view menu, U will see that all configuration details are visible including db password. I suppose there should be some way to hide these details to client.
Please help in this regard, i will be very thankful

Forms Listener Servlet is just another way of setting up forms on the web. The main difference is instead of the client and the Forms runtime talking directly, they do so via the webserver. This means thay you only need to have one port opened in your firewalls (e.g. 80) instead of two (80 and 9000)
Please read the paper I indicated and this will hopefully explain it all.
As to the suggestion of using the LOGON built int - this would be a solution but you will have to consider if this is acceptable if you have more that one user since the person running the application would have to identify themselves in some way.
The other option is do not add the username and password in teh HTML and the default logon dialog will appear.

Hi,
You can achieve the hiding of a field very easily using the BSP workbench.
You can find out the relevant UI component, Enhancement set and View by pressing F2 button on the relevant field for which you wnat to discover the related UI Class.
Then using the tcode:- BSP_WD_CMPWB you need to enter the BSP Workbench.
In the workbench, enter the values of the Component and the Enhancement Set and click on display.
Then in the next screen you will see all the relevant sections for that Component.
Expand the Views.
Double click on your view, which you figured out at the very beginning.
The relevant view opens.
On the right side click on the tab "Configuration".
Cick on "Choose Configuration" to chosse your relevant configuration.
The configuration window opens, where you can hide the relevant fields.

We have an application designed for an old oracle version which issues some sql which is no more supported in todays database version.
We want to use the application unchanged with a new database server.
Old Server Version: 7.3.4 (still in production...)
New Server Version: 10.2 or 11.2
The application issues an
ALTER SESSION SET OPTIMIZER_GOAL = FIRST_ROWS ;
which results in ORA-01986 and the application dies.
We would like to hide the error 01986 from the application using a trigger:

How to dispatch an event from the application to the preloader

HI everyone
                 I've been searching everywhere on the net, and as far as it goes I gotten no answer for this. When the application hit the preinitialize phase, I'm calling the loadStyle method. As you can see I will hold the CreationComplete event until I the swf is ready. What I want to do, is to have a second loading bar in the preloader (no problem here) to show the progress of the swf downloaded, hence the StyleEvent.PROGRESS event. I would like to know how can I dispatch that event to the preloader?

I had the xercers jars in jdk/jre/lib/endorsed directory.
If I remove these, the ejbql works. I do need these in there for a different reason. Is there any way I can have the xercers jars in jdk/jre/lib/endorsed directory and still the ejbql work on oc4j.

I tried to found info about this, it seems to be easy, but i couldn't found it.
I have a ALV Report (with funtion module not OO).
I copied a gui status from program saplkkbl status gui: standard_fullscreen.
In the ALV i have one column editable, i could refresh the info when i push the bottom that refers the function code &REFRESH
I add a buttom in the application toolbar, i would like to execute or perform the standard funtion '&Refresh', and after that do my own code.
how could i do it?
