How to hide field in adobe Forms
i am currently trying to print purchase order where i have 5 line item and the 5th item is delivered so for that i want to display a text but the problem is iit displaying in line item 10 can anyone please how to print it in 5th line

Try to add one more field for text field for each line item and make sure use a flag .
if the flag is true then make it visible use the below JavaScript code to hide a particular field.
his script will hide the field in runtime if it is initial.
hidden or presence make sure use the conditions as per the require to hide the text or to make it visible
Enter the below JavaScript in the editor & Select the language as JavaScript.
if(this.rawValue == null)
this.presence = "hidden";

NRKNow that you mention it ... the rendered flag will stop the field from being rendered. So it's not even in the page. Stupid me.
Have a look at formValue. These are rendered, but invisible fields in a form. That should do it (hopefully).
In prepareForDML() you could simply call the setter of your date attribute that stores the date of the last update. There you pass the current date, or you could fetch the sysdate from the database and pass that. If you go that way, then the EntityImpl could make these adjustments automatically when inserting or updating and you wouldn't even need these fields/bindings in your UIX page.
Just check what the operation is, and if it's an update or insert then call the setters of the attributes you want to update. Then call super.prepareForDML(). Something like that.
It all would happen in the middle-tier, client not involved.
So formValue should work, and the prepareForDML() stuff should also work. Don't know which way you want to go.

Hide a row or field in adobe form
Hi guys,
Can any one suggest me how to hide a field in adobe form.
My scenario is:
Using control levels for deliveries with item data, if the item line is only one, then I should not display any subtotal field, if item lines are more than one, only then i need to display subtotal field in adobe form.
Subtotals are maintained at item level not at the page level.
Can any provide solution with scripting.

RP.One way is have some variable which tells how many rows of data is present. Check it and then make subtotal
visible or hidden. The script will be like below.

how to make a field in adobe form noneditable. like info keys..
when this form is sent through worflow the receiver shudnt be able make changes to the field value...(I have a form, which has fields prefilled(like pernr employee name) but these fields are in editable able..(i want only some fields to be uneditable not all)

How to hide field at item level only (User should not be able to edit this field) in userexit_field_modification, instead of hiding the complete column.
If I use

To find the translation of Adobe form is nothing but to find the labels or texts used in this adobe form in various languages. This will give you an idea on how many languages your adobe form has been translated.
So to find the translations in different languages, you have to go to Context node of the Adobe form. Then go through the text nodes which are used as labels. These will be normally stored as Standard texts in SO10.
For example. Take the text name of any one text node.
1) Go to SE38.
2) Type program RSTXTRAN.
3) Let the Text key - object be TEXT.
4) Then enter this text name in the field Text key - name. I have put the sample standard text ZTEST_ADOBE as shown below.
5) Let the Text key - ID be ST.
6) In Text key - language, Enter * (i.e enter the Asterisk) because you want to find out all the languages.
The screen parameters will be as shown below.
7) Now Execute this report.
8) It will show all the various languages in which this particular standard text is used which is nothing but the Adobe form is being used in these many languages. For example, the standard text ZTEST_ADOBE is used in 3 languages, English, German and Spanish as shown below. It will look as shown below.
Note: This will give you the more or less the overall idea of the form that has been used in these many languages. But also make sure the standard text with particular language is also linked with the Transport Request. Because there are chances that the text was created in a particular language but was never used. -

For example

I am going to hide last fied..To do this
at selction-screen output.
if s_carrid is initial or s_connid is initial.
loop at screen.
if screen-group1 CS 'GR2'.
screen-active = 0.
modify screen.
endif.
endloop.
endif.
whenever u click on any one of the field i.e. carrid or connid the third field will displayed.Otherwies the last field cityto is not visible initially

How do you type in Adobe forms without converting them.
Several times I was on an Adobe page where one could click on a tab to do just that and now I cannot remember how I got there.

OK. Following instructions, I've uninstalled the old Flash Player and installed the right one, and videos are now playing. Thanks for pointing me to the other posts on this site. YouTube and other videos are now playing
Some of the videos still play jerkily (they don't stream evenly). A few stream evenly once they've been allowed to buffer fully. (I think I'm using these terrms correctly.) Is this solely caused by low bandwidth, or is there something—an adjustment of some kind—that I can do with Flash Player to have online videos stream evenly, even from the moment I start them?
As I mentioned, to bypass this uneven streaming while watching online, I download the videos and watch them usually using Quicktime Player 7.6.4. Still, they don't always play evenly, but for the most part do.
I've just tested bandwidth and I'm told:
5.63 Bbps Download speed
0.63 Mbps Upload speep

Making some words Bold/Underlined of an editable text field in Adobe Form?
I have a a requirement of making some words Bold/Underlined of an editable text field in Adobe Form. I have created a "Text Field" and in "Value" tab as default value I have written the textline and made the field Type as "User entered - optional" so that at runtime user can edit that text. Now they want some words of the whole text line should display as Bold and some as Underlined. Can you please help me to meet this requirement.

Then try again to add form fields. (You can copy the form fields you've already created and paste them onto the new file -- just copy and paste while in forms edit mode). A second shot in the dark if the first doesn't work might be to try again, but change the print settings when printing to PDF. I've ready some reports that the dpi setting can have an effect. Maybe go from 600 to 150 and see if that works. Let me know which, if either, of these ideas works.
