How to hide messagetextinput item on root node in HGRID

Hi,
I have added one messagetextinput item in HGRID.
But it is showing 3 items(one for root node, 2 for the actual items) when there are 2 rows in master node.
+Employee          |________|
-101 |________|
-102 |________|
I want to hide the item at root node(i.e. for employee.)
I am working on seeded page, not the custom page.
Can someone help me..

  • How to hide certain items in a Combo Box

    I've two Combo Box(CB). First CB contain 4 items(drop-down menus) and the 2nd CB contain 12 items.
    I want that when I select one of the items from Combo Box1, then only 4 out of 12 items from Combo Box2 should be visible. So actually I want first combo Box to act as filter. Could this be done using the AS3 code.

    I don't think there is any way to hide items, but you can rewrite he items basd on the selectedIndex value of the cbHeight combobox.  In the code below, each element of the weightData array is an array of objects.
    import fl.data.DataProvider;
    var weightData:Array = new Array();
    weightData.push([{label: "100"},{label: "110"},{label: "120"},{label: "130"}]);

    weightData.push([{label: "300"},{label: "310"},{label: "320"},{label: "330"}]);

    Thanks

    Hi,
    According to your post, my understanding is that you want to hide "Download a Copy" according to the user permissions.
    We can achieve it using jQuery and SharePoint REST API. Use REST API to check user permissions, then hide "Download a Copy" like this:
    $("A[id$='Ribbon.Documents.Copies.Download-Large']").hide();
    http://www.lifeonplanetgroove.com/checking-user-permissions-from-the-sharepoint-2013-rest-api/
    For other questions, I would suggest you post it in a new thread, it would make others easier to focus on one question in one single thread and it will benefit other community members who stuck with the same question.

  • How to hide default tooltip for tree nodes?

    I have an af:tree.
    When a node contains a long string, the tree automatically creates a horizontal scroll bar to accomodate it.
    But when I hover my mouse on top of the node, a tooltip is coming showing the complete text of the node.
    Because of this I cannot drag and drop this node.
    Is there anyway to hide this?

    Still can't get rid of the tooltip the layout is:
    <af:panelStretchLayout>
        <f:facet name="center">
            <af:panelSplitter>
                <f:facet name="first">
                   <af:panelAccordion>
                       <af:showDetailItem stretchChildren="first">
                           <af:tree>
                           </af:tree>
                       </af:showDetailItem>
                   </af:panelAccordion>
                </f:facet>
            </af:panelSplitter>
        </f:facet>
    </af:panelStretchlayout>Which should be pretty fine in terms of geometry management.
    If I move the splitter too much to the left the whole label can not be displayed => a tooptip pops, which prevents the node from being clicked.
    Maybe the lables have to wrap in some way instead of stay 'under' the splitter.
    Same behaviour with or without af:panelCollection wrapping the af:tree.

  • How to add all namespaces in root node of xquery transformation result?

    Hi,
    I'm using xquery Transformation in oracle service bus to transfrom output. The schema used for output transfromation has elements being imported from several schemas. so that output xml has these long tags with namespaces of repective schemas e.g.
    <rr:Get360ViewOfProductResponse      xmlns:rr="http://canaldigital.com/schema/product/CPMProductInformation/v2.0/">
    <ResponseHeader>
    <com:ResponseCode xmlns:com="http://broadcast.telenor.com/tsi/common/commonparameters_v1" >0</com:ResponseCode>
    <com:ResponseText xmlns:com="http://broadcast.telenor.com/tsi/common/commonparameters_v1" >0</com:ResponseText>
    </ResponseHeader>
    </rr:Get360ViewOfProductResponse>
    what I want to achieve is that all namespaces come once in the rootNode and all childnodes just use the repective prefixes, so that the xml size doesnt grow too large.Like below.
    <rr:Get360ViewOfProductResponse      xmlns:com="http://broadcast.telenor.com/tsi/common/commonparameters_v1" xmlns:rr="http://canaldigital.com/schema/product/CPMProductInformation/v2.0/" xmlns:pr="http://broadcast.telenor.com/tsi/common/program_v1">
    <ResponseHeader>
    <com:ResponseCode>0</com:ResponseCode>
    <com:ResponseText>0</com:ResponseText>
    </ResponseHeader>
    </rr:Get360ViewOfProductResponse>
    the difference is that ResponseCode and responseText should only use their prefix, and not complete namespace. How can i acheive this.
    Thanks in advance.

  • How to hide downloaded items that appear as icons on desktop

    Every time I am opening a file or saving a file from the internet it goes to my computer screen and i don't no how to make it so it doesn't show up there as an icon. What do I do?

    Open your browser's preferences. The General section is usually where you will find an option to set the folder where downloaded files are saved. Designate some other location than your Desktop. Create a Downloads folder, for example, in your Home folder, then set the browser's preferences to save files to that folder.

  • Hide "View Item" ribbon element using jquery or css

    Hi,
    How to hide "View Item" ribbon element using jquery for a single custom list?
    In CEWP, i have tried this:
    .ViewProperties.Manage.ListItem#Ribbon {
    DISPLAY: none
    But this is not hiding the "View Item" option.
    How to achieve this?
    Thank you

    I have tried different CSS and Javascript tricks to hide this item but not successed,
    Now one another solution i found is to used the SPRibbon.TrimById method,
    So for that you need to create one webpart, and add following line of code to it , add this dll first Microsoft.Web.CommandUI.dll
    public void HideRibbonItem()
    SPRibbon ribbon = SPRibbon.GetCurrent(this.Page);
    if (ribbon != null)
    ribbon.TrimById("Ribbon.ListItem.Manage.ViewProperties");
    Now call this function to the page load event of webpart,
    Now add this webpart to that page instead of content editor webpart,
    so it will hide the View Item form the custom list ribbon

  • Programatically Traverse Focused Nodes of HGrid in ProcessFormRequest

    I was wondering if there is a way to only get the focused rows of an HGrid object in processFormRequest method of controller.
    I can use OAHGridQueriedRowEnumerator to iterate through all rows but I only want to get rows that have focus.
    If the user focuses the hierarchy on a non-parent level, I want to get all rows starting at that level and loop through them.
    Example
    One
    | \- A
    |- Two
    |- Three
    |  |- B
    |  |- C
    |  \- D
    \- Four
    If the user puts focus on node "Three" the page will display:
    Three
      |- B
      |- C
      \- D
    But, when i use OAHGridQueriedRowEnumerator all values contained in the HGrid are iterated.  I only want to iterate values under focus.

    Hi Ranjit,
    This issue is now resolved. The problem was not due to call to clear Cache APIs or due to static HGrid, but due to wrongly execution of VO2 in HGrid. Due to this, when the page was loading for the first time, root node was rendered in expanded mode (which should not be the case), but on back navigation it was collapsed. When I tried expanding few more nodes (i.e. up to level 2 or more) and then navigate, I found that HGrid was retaining its hierarchy just by retaining AM itself. And when this problem was fixed so that VO2 is not executed itself even for the first time and the page is loaded with just 1 root node, then HGrid maintained its hierarchy as expected.
    Thanks a lot for your valuable inputs.

  • How to hide root node of hierarchy?

    Hi,
    can anyone give me a hint how to hide the root node of a hierarchy?
    Thank you very much in advance, best regards
    Frank

    Hi Frank,
    Another way would be to restrict the hierarchy in the query definition. Select all nodes, except the root. You can do the same in excel and save the query as a view. Of course, you have to maintain this selection every time the hierarchy gets new nodes.

  • How to hide a tree node from the GUI but still keep it in the tree model?

    Hi, All
    I used a JTree in my project in which I have a DefaultTreeModel to store all the tree structure and a JTree show it on the screen. But for some reason, I want to hide some of the nodes from the user, but I don't want to remove them from the tree model because later on I still need to use them.
    I searched on the web, some people suggested method to hide the root node, but that's not appliable to my project because I want to hide some non-root nodes; Some people also suggested to collapse the parent node when there are child to hide, it is not appliable to me either, because there still some other childnodes (sibling of the node to hide) I want to show.
    How can I hide some of the tree node from the user? Thanks for any information.
    Linda

    Here's an example using a derivation of DefaultTreeModel that shows (or does not show) two types of Sneech (appologies to the good Dr Zeus) by overiding two methods on the model.
    Now, there are many things wrong with this example (using instanceof, for example), but it's pretty tight and shows one way of doing what you want.
    Note: to make it useful, you''d have to change the implementation of setShowStarBelliedSneeches() to do something more sophisticated than simply firing a structure change event on the root node. You'd want to find all the star bellied sneech nodes and call fireTreeNodesRemoved(). That way the tree would stay expanded rather than collapse as it does now.

  • How do i add a root node to a XMLType

    Hi all
    I have a problem inserting a root node in a xml document generated by DBMS_XMLGEN.newcontextfromhierarchy. The function get_site_map_nodes generates a document like this:
    <?xml version="1.0"?>
    <siteMapNode f_page_id="1" title="rot" PATH="1">
    <siteMapNode f_page_id="2" title="1.1" PATH="1.1">
    <siteMapNode f_page_id="4" title="1.1.1" PATH="1.1.1"/>
    </siteMapNode>
    <siteMapNode f_page_id="3" title="1.2" PATH="1.2"/>
    <siteMap/>
    </siteMapNode>
    This is correct but i want to add a root node so the result shows as below:
    <?xml version="1.0"?>
    <siteMap>
    <siteMapNode f_page_id="1" title="rot" PATH="1">
    <siteMapNode f_page_id="2" title="1.1" PATH="1.1">

    </siteMapNode>
    <siteMapNode f_page_id="3" title="1.2" PATH="1.2"/>
    <siteMap/>
    </siteMapNode>
    </siteMap>
    The problem is that i have no clue how to accomplish this.

    Please try below steps.
    1. Complete Prerequisite for adding cluster node
    2. Verify the node is accessible to all other nodes in the cluster. Run the following command from the existing node in the cluster.
    cluvfy stage -pre crsinst -n newNode
    3. Run cluvfy from any existing node
    cluvfy stage -pre nodeadd -n <New Node>
    Note : If cluvfy in above step shows any errors fix those and then proceed with this step
    4. Change Directory to Clusterware Home and execute addNode scripts from any existing node.
    cd $CRS_HOME/oui/bin
    ./addNode.sh -silent "CLUSTER_NEW_NODES={ <NewNode > } CLUSTER_NEW_PRIVATE_NODE_NAMES={ <Interconnect >} CLUSTER_NEW_VIRTUAL_HOSTNAMES={ < Virtual Host Name >}"
    At the end of addNode, script will prompt to run for root.sh on newly added node.
    5. Verify Node is successfully added
    cluvfy stage -post nodeadd -n <NewNode >
    6. Verify CRS Stack is running on the new Node.
    $CRS_HOME/bin/crs_stat -t
    7. To extend the Oracle RAC Installation to include the new Node, run addNode from $ORACLE_HOME/oui/bin from existing node in the cluster
    cd $CRS_HOME/oui/bin
    ./addNode.sh
    When OUI displays the Specify Cluster Nodes to Add to Installation window, select the node to be added, then click Next .
    Verify the summary and run root.sh on new node when it prompts.
    8. Adding New Instance on the New Node
    $CRS_HOME/bin/lsnrctl status
    9.Run $ORACLE_HOME/bin/dbca from any of the existing RAC Instances Oracle Home.
    Select Oracle Real Application Clusters database , and then click Next .
    Select Instance Management , and then click Next .
    Select Add an Instance , then click Next .
    Click Next to accept default instance name or it can be changed.
    Check the summary window.
    Note: Please check these steps in test environment first.

    I looked at a couple and #5 seems interesting, but there are quite a few to choose from.
