Can I now delete/uninstall Logic Pro 9 safely now that I have Logic Pro X?
Is it ok to delete the application Logic Pro 9 now that X is installed without affecting anything?
There shouldn't be any problems when uninstalling Logic 9, but in my opinion this is not necessary. Logic 9 does not claim that much space on your HD and it will coexist rather unnoticed along LPX. You'll gain availability of a 2nd DAW wherein you still can run 32 bit plugins, work on old projects incase LPX has trouble translating them and you'll have functionality available which has been left out in LPX. My advice would be to leave it where it is.

The new machine has Mavericks which is fine. And I will leave it as is. I don’t want anything from my old machine other than 2 apps that I will need on the new one. How many times can you install Lightroom 5? My problem is that I have saved my programs on C. To I have more space, I want to save my programs now on E. My MacBook Pro 13" says that I have no more memory in my startup disk. I have tried deleting applications, files, folders, and it still says I have low memory. What is taking up all that space?
First -- do the target disk backup. Somehow get a backup.
You might try booting to Single user mode: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1492 and removing the files in the command line. When you put files in the trash, the space is still used up until the trash is emptied.
using rm command removes it totally. Just be very careful because you remove the wrong file, and you have to relad the system -

It has likely moved to another page on your iPad. To swipe between pages, take your finger and swipe left on the home page to get to the next page. Keep doing so until you find the App. Another way to find the App is while on your home page, touch your home button once and Spot Light Search will appear. In the search bar, type iBooks and your iPad will locate the App. If all that fails, you can connect your iPad to your iTunes account via your computer. After your iPad syncs, open the device by clicking on the iPad from the left hand side of your screen. Once your device is open in iTunes, click on the Apps button above and make sure iBooks is checked. If it is not, put a check in the box and the App will appear on your iPad screen.

Yes. However, note that all Apps purchased/downloaded under one Apple ID will forever be tied to it, and will require it to update. They will run, but will not update without the other Apple ID
You can go to Settings->iTunes & App Stores->Apple ID and change it there for the stores.
You can also go to Settings->iCloud, Facetime, Messages, and change it for those individual services. -

I use Pro Logic 9.1.8. and see that to upgrade to Pro Logic X I need to buy the full package again. Does apple offer special conditions for their Apple clients ? Are users of apple care protection plan better served ?

I choose to use LP9 with Snow Leopard myself (10.6.8 and 9.1.6) for most of my commercial work simply because I find that combo very stable and provides the best overall performance for my setups here... but I am also using LPX with Mavericks as part of my client support and that works fine too although with a drop in performance due to the heavier demands made on the hardware by the newer OS X and LPX graphic routines for example.. -
Why can't I delete an iCloud account, I think we should have that option, this is ridiculous.
I worry about my information floating around some server through Icloud when I don't want it there. Apple should provide a way to completely delete an icloud account from everywhere - devices, the web etc. If I had known that I wouldn't have this option, I would have never signed up for one considering all the trouble icloud has caused me. It keeps losing my contacts etc. Am I the only one that is annoyed and frustrated by this?

In part this is probably to prevent the address from becoming available again and someone else grabbing it and pretending to be you. You can go to the website and delete all your data there so that it's empty, and then just ignore it.

If you restore from your last backup, it will replace what you now have on your phone. If you set it up as new, you will have a phone just out of the box without any of your data on it. You can download any apps again. You can sync your music through iTunes.
