Hi,
I want to hide search box in subgrid. When I click (+) in subgrid then show search box. I dont want to show search box. When I click (+) for new record then new form will open. Please tell me how to remove search box from subgrid in crm 2013

If you don't want to show search box over subgrid, make the relationship of your field required (what ever relationship you are using to show subgrid over your entity form).

I dont think that its possible to change the image.
Are you trying to disable the document search ? Is the entire region disappearing when you tried disabling the search through personalization, walking the page hierarchy ? Is it for Document catalog ? If so, then it is a bug

That robots.txt you mentioned...do what with that? I mean, how does that tell it "dont index the images"? For that matter, there are tons of pages on the server I don't want being indexed yet either because they are half baked for later development.

Create the file, and upload it to the root directory. It's as simple as that. But you'll have to read the details on the google hits to see the exact syntax of the exclusions.
Now - here's why this is happening....
Somewhere, google has found a link to this URL -
http://bluehippotravel.com/photos/destinations/TH/
The bluehippotravel host has NOT disabled directory browsing. When you browse to that URL, instead of getting a FORBIDDEN message like you should, you get a page listing the contents of that directory. Google is indexing that page. Ask your host to turn off directory browsing for that folder.

The moment I begin typing in Firefox's search box, a drop-down menu appears directly beneath it displaying the names of bookmarks I created whose names begin with the same search letter(s) being typed. How can I make it STOP doing this?

You can look at the location bar settings:
* Firefox/Tools > Options > Privacy > Location Bar: When using the location bar, suggest: History and Bookmarks, History, Bookmarks, Nothing

Note that bookmarked sites that you have visited will become history items and you need to clear that history.

The Search box in the Bookmarks Sidebar searches for matches in your bookmarks only.
In the URL/Location/Address bar, type a word or a few words finds matches in Bookmarks and History, Bookmarks only, History only, or Nothing, depending on your settings in:
*Using the Firefox button: Firefox button > Option > Options > Privacy, "Location Bar" seciton
*Using the Menu Bar: Tools > Options > Privacy, "Location Bar" seciton
If there is a way to get rid of the Search box in the Bookmarks Sidebar it would most likely need to be done in the userChrome.css file. I do not know what that would be; maybe someone else will come along who does.

Have you unchecked the Display Bounding Box in the Options menu on the left side of the Model Tree toolbar? Select the down arrow next to the menu icon under Model Tree to see the Options menu.

I assume you have made some changes to this out of box search
you will have to take help from a CSS expert to select the div of this image and resize it. it has to be updated in css file on the server
You can use developer(f12) tool in IE to test that

Portal: custom i-view definition (transaction) how to hide command box

Dear Sirs,
we are trying to define a transaction i-view (displaying a SRM transaction)
in portal but hiding the command box.
The i-view has been defined under portal content \..\iview\GUI\
We have tested some values in "Parameters Forwarded to Transaction" in I-VIEW definition,
like...

WEBGUI_SIMPLE_TOOLBAR = hide, no etc..
listed in other threads
but whitout any effect.
Is this a possible feature and what are the correct values ?
From SRM side we have tested the transaction in SE93 in both modes, EWT and normal.

In the "Parameter forwarded to transaction" in the iview definition from portal.
The command box appears in any case.
Whe should remove also the "menu" button.

1)I want to configure search so that I can search documents from previous month, quarterly, half year, year, and all documents is possible.
2)Search results are organized with most recent documents at the top.
3)Search results have year as refiner that can be used to show results only from specified year (In library we have field with year when document create)

I also have to hide it from the page source, hence i cannot use css. Please suggest some solution,if possible using xslt.

Accessing subgrid in CRM 2013 javascript

I'm trying to set the values in a subgrid in 2013 in the onload of a form.
I can't get the subgrid though, I keep getting an error saying 'unable to get property X of undefined or null reference'. I've tried a few different ways of doing this.
Namely:

I was trying to avoid using document.getElementById as it is not supported across all browsers.
If I use it, I m still getting an error saying 'undefined' when I try to pass parameters to the SetParameter function. I am passing in a string: "fetchXml", and the fetchXML, but I get undefined. Does anyone know why this is happening? I am writing SetParameter
exactly like that, with a capital 'S'.

SharePoint 2013 multiple search boxes on a single page

How can I have multiple independent search boxes on a single SharePoint 2013 page? My scenario is this:
1. Search Box 1 is added to the master page
2. Search Box 2 is on a dedicated search page along with a search results web part.
Search Box 1 is the search box from the navigation section in the Snippets Gallery. It is the smaller SharePoint search box.
Search Box 2 is a search web part added to a web part zone on the page. It is also the large SharePoint search box.
When on the dedicated search page, and a search term is entered into search box 2, the search term is "entered" in both search boxes. The real issue, which totally breaks the experience, is that the same CSS is applied to both search boxes
on the page. So the smaller search box, search box 1, gets the CSS class ".ms-srch-sbLarge" dynamically applied to it. Additionally, we noticed that the divs wrapping the search boxes both get the ID of "SearchBox1". I
have added a before and after image to illustrate the problem.

I have some more information to add to this issue. SearchBox2 is using a display template. The control_searchbox.js file associated with the display template correctly gets SearchBox2's control ID when the page is first rendered. However, when
a search term is entered in SearchBox2, rather than preserve the control ID it found on page load, control_searchbox.js parses the DOM for a TemplateType of "control" and a TargetControlType of "searchbox". It finds the first
one it comes to, which is the one in the master page and overwrites SearchBox1 with it's own markup, which is targeted for SearchBox2.
Microsoft - this would seem to be a bug in SharePoint. How can we get a fix for this?

So what you can also do is set the searchBoxScriptWebpart directly in the masterpage with pointer to a displaytemplate. This way you have more control. In the RenderTemplateId attribute you can point to the same displaytemplate or create your own copy with
customizations.

This eventually worked for me too.
I was referencing this webpart from my master page but experienced issues on the search results page as described above. When I set the RenderTemplateId property, it would work some of the time and other times I would get a display error from the webpart
in my master page.
I had to make sure that ServerInitialRender was set to
false. @adilbouhouch already has it set properly in the markup above. I missed it initially and just wanted to point it out in case anyone else gets the same issue.

You can hide that container or set the browser.aboutHomeSnippets.updateUrl pref to an empty String on the about:config to make Firefox use some default snippets.
