How to host a vCard on our company website

I recently went to a website and under the company's contact
information they had their vCard which when clicked automatically
downloaded to my desktop. I thought this was a good idea and wanted
to do the same thing.
So I created a company vCard in my Address Book and exported
the card to my desktop. I then launch Dreamweaver MX 2004 for the
Mac and added the vCard to our company's contact page. When I
previewed it in Dreamweaver the link worked and the file downloaded
to my desktop.
I uploaded the vCard and updated contact page to my server.
However, now when I click on the vCard link it goes to another page
with nothing but text. The text appears to be a raw representation
of my vCard info. But definitely not what it should of looked like.
Let alone it didn't download to my desktop as a separate vCard.
Now, I can right click and do "Save Linked File to Desktop"
and the vCard shows up just fine.
So it appears to be an HTML issue where I need the file to
automatically download when clicked instead of going to the text
representation of the vCard.
Does anyone know how to do this?

first, since i don't have the url, use a tool that will give
the header/mime
info for the file's url to confirm that my guess is the
problem.
there are plugins for firefox that give this info.
there are online tools also.

Put in the full link to the .vcf file into the above forms.
If it comes back as undefined or text, and not the mime type
with the
text/v-card i mentioned earlier, that confirms my guess that
either no mime
type or a generic guess at a text mime type is being sent for
that file type
from their hosting. Then send a request to the support at the
ISP to add a
correct mime type to the hosting for this file type.
If they won't do that- then making it a compressed .zip file
is probably the
only other choice.

1. He provides you a Raw material, your company processes it creates a FG out of it and send back FG to client
OR
2. He provides you some tools , your company uses them for job, there is no change in state/value of tool, you send back the tool after usage

What I need to know is "how" I can separate or rather create another Apple ID for my son-who is currently using "my Apple ID?" If there is a way to let him keep "all" his info on his phone (eg-contacts, music, app's, etc.) without doing a "reset?') Somehow I need to go into his phone's setting-create a new Apple ID and possibly a new password so he can still use our combined iCloud & Itunes account?
Also then letting me take back my Apple ID & password, but again allowing us (my son and I) to use the same iCloud & Itunes account? Does that make more sense??? I'm sincerely trying to get this cleared up once and for all----just need guidance from someone who has a true understanding of the whole Apple iCloud/Itunes system!

There are two files that ought to change when you set your preference:
"/Users/yourname/Library/Preferences/com.apple.systempreferences.plist"
"/Users/yourname/Library/Preferences/com.apple.scheduler.plist"
Try moving both of them out of the prefs folder. Then launch System Preferences and reset your preference to whatever you want (or uncheck the box altogether). See if that works. If it it does you will have to also reset your other System Prefs, since all will be returned to the default. If it doesn't do the trick, you can put the originals back and thus avoid the resetting.

It will depend how and where the other computers are.
Broadly speaking any Mac computer on the same LAN using iChat or Messages with the Bonjour account enabled will see all the other Macs (The app reads the computer User's Contacts App (Address Book) My Card and broadcasts the name)
This works up to the point you go beyond 255 computers or devices.
The router will have one IP allowing for 255 devices to be connected.
To state this another way.
The Bonjour account in Messages or iChat is a self connecting, self populating Buddy list.
Your Name is read from the Address Book on older systems or the Contacts app in Mountain Lion and above at the one called the My Card and this is broadcast as your "Screen Name".
You see the names in the Buddy list that correspond to other peoples My Card.
On this iMac I am using I am "Ralph Johns"
On my G4 tower I am "Ralph G4" and on my laptop I am "Ralph MacBook Pro"
This means if I hook up the three using Bonjour I know which is which.
(As an aside this also allows me to separate them out on AIM and Jabber lists as well as I have the My Card for this computer and Address Cards for each others)

How to implement Parties/Accounts with across multiple orgs in our company.

I'm looking for some guidance as to how to configure/setup our clients in TCA for multiple orgs in our company.
Example:
We have 2 orgs in defined in our ERP. One is called Interactive, the other is called Traditional.
We want the general ledgers separate for these orgs
We want orders placed by clients to roll up to the correct org
We have clients that place orders for both Interactive products and Traditional Products.
For a single "client" that does business in both orgs, should we simply create 1 party and 2 customer accounts? Then use the org_id field in hz_cust_accounts to specify the organization code?
Or should we have a single customer account for that party, with 2 customer sites defined at the org level? Or do separate them at the site_uses level?
I've heard there are issues with Sales Online being used in 11.5.9 for multi org setup, does anyone know about htis.

I think for each account, you can have 1 bill_to site use. If you want to differentiate between them considering rollup to GL, then i guess defining 2 accounts for each customer would be you best shot.

You just copy the stamp files from one machine and place them in the correct directory on the other. You can find the location of both the user and app stamp directories by running the following code in the interactive JavaScript console:
app.getPath("user", "stamps");
app.getPath("app", "stamps");
Select both lines and press Ctrl+Enter (Windows) or cmd+enter (Mac). Here's what I get with this using Acrobat 11 on a Mac:
user folder: /Macintosh HD/Users/georgejohnson/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Acrobat/11.0/Stamps/
app folder: /Macintosh HD/Applications/Adobe Acrobat XI Pro/Adobe Acrobat Pro.app/Contents/Built-in/Comments.acroplugin/Stamps/
The stamp files (PDFs) might have cryptic looking names, but you can safely open each to see what stamps they contain.

Files created by the Creative Cloud apps can be shared like any other file. For example, you can share files through email, FTP, and so on.
In addition, Creative Cloud sharing features let you share files with people who aren't members of Creative Cloud by allowing them to view the files in a browser. Viewers can turn layers on and off, view relevant metadata, comment, and even download files for editing.
Collaborative feature is something which is being worked upon and is expected to be available in the future release.

On the subject of the offshore support teams my experience from the other sife of the fence is that many, many of them are very technically orientated. The problem is that the ISPs they work for don't give them access to many of the tools that are needed (they need to raise internal requests to even get line checks done in some cases) and also they are very heavily scripted & monitored in what they do/say on a call.
Sounds like O2 are operating as a contact centre rather than as a call centre which is much more preferable from the customers point of view.

I have created a website - purchased a domain name and have started to build my own website for public viewing.
I use Sharepoint at work so I am familiar in using webpages and creating them. I have Sharepoint 2010 & office 365 at home and would like to be able to use Sharepoint to manage and create new pages on my website as I am finding that it would be easier

Creative Cloud update fails with "the download appears to be corrupted" when tried through our company's firewall, but succeeds if the computer is taken outside the firewall. The IT guys have opened up the ports and URL's specified in the Adobe documentation. I have also captured the network traffic of both the failed and successful downloads for IT to examine (using Little Snitch), however they can find nothing to account for the problem. Adobe just seems to "give up and die" after about 2-3 minutes. Why is this? How can I or IT fix this?
Can I send the above log files to someone familiar with these issues for examination?

Problem with winmail.dat Attachments in our company

First, i did read all Entries in this Community about winmail.dat, but there's no entry for my problem.
We use exchange server 2010 and outlook 2010. All Mails are written as HTML-Mails. There's no RTF Mails in our company.
The problem ist, our cio ist using a ipad with a hotmail mal address and most mails with attachments arrives as winmail.dat on the ipad.
But not all!
I could verify, that a Mail with doc, pdf, xls attachments was opened ok on a iphone4s (with ios6) but showed as winmail.dat on ipad3 (ios6) at the same time!
Has anyone a explanation to this?

Winmail.dat files are attachments sent by Microsoft mail applications (Outlook, Outlook Express or Exchange) on a proprietary RTF format called TNEF (transport neutral encapsulation format).
An e-mail containing an winmail.dat attachment looks like an empty e-mail with only one attachment. The original e-mail information like subject, body and attachments is packed into a single winmail.dat file, which in some cases also receives a generic name like information01.dat.
If you wanna open it, you should download a winmail viewer.
