How to hover an image navigation?

Hello everyone! I hope someone can help me. I've been
following the
Dreamweaver
Tutorial, but i still have a problem on how to hover an image
navigation. I just followed the code format on the guide which is
shown below:
quote:
.navigation{
font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;
font-size: 16px;
font-style: normal;
font-weight: bold;
color: #FFFFFF;
text-decoration: none;
background-color: #993300;
display: block;
padding: 8px;
width: 140px;
.navigation:hover{
font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;
font-size: 16px;
font-style: normal;
font-weight: bold;
color: #FFFFFF;
text-decoration: none;
background-color: #D03D03;
display: block;
padding: 8px;
width: 140px;
and what i did is:
quote:
.navigation{
display: block;
color:#009;
.navigation:hover{
display: block;
color:#009;
background-image:url(images/gallerybtn2.jpg);
can anyone enlighten me up? I just need it badly for my
school project. :(

It's just on my desktop.  The code DW created when I used the CSS Transition function begins at .navHome:hover.  What comes before that is mine.  Important point is that the image is in the html and I suspect it's not responding as background.  If I put it in CSS as a background image I don't know how to make it work as a link.
#navPrimary {
    width: 100%;
    float: left;
    margin-bottom: 15px;;
#navPrimary li {
    float: left;
    list-style: none;
    height: 40px;
    padding-top: 10px;
    padding-bottom: 10px;
.navHome:hover {
    background-position: -10px;
.navBoiko:hover {
    background-position: -10px;
.navNatasha:hover {
    background-position: -10px;
.navBooks:hover {

.navGames:hover {

.navHome {
    padding-top: -10px;

.navBoiko {

  • How do I modify an Image Navigator Image?

    I'd like to modify one of the symbols in the image navigator by adding color to it and use it on a Labview panel. I can easily export or copy the image to a graphics application and add the color or otherwise modify it, but when I put it back into the image navigator and then place it on a panel, it has an opaque white, rectangular background. Is there a way to eliminate the background or make it transparent?

    May be you will find an answer here
    Hope this helps.

    Thanks
    Mukesh

    Hi Mukesh,
    I think this may work,
    1, Create a HTML Layout.
        You can put your image wherever  u want with HTML Codes.
        Check this, [Article|https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/3915a890-0201-0010-4981-ad7b18146f81] & [Help|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/cc/00c93e9b2c3d67e10000000a114084/frameset.htm]
        With this, u can use the standard KM commands also.
    2, U need to use KM Navigation iView for this rather than KM Doc iView.
    3, In the Nav iView, u can use &rndLayoutSet=nameOfUrHTMLLayout to force the view with this new layout.

  • Image navigation bar for ePub Children's book export?

    I'm designing children's picture books in ID for export to ePub. I've seen some such books on my nook (ePub) that have an image navigation bar that pops up at the bottom of the page. Readers can scroll through reduced images of pages quickly on this navigation bar, tap a particular image and go directly to that page. I've looked through lots of tutorials but I don't see any that show how to do this. Can you point me to a tutorial that teaches me how to make this navigation bar?

    Exploring further, I see that there are some examples on the web of experiments with JavaScript on iBooks (don't know if they're supported on the Nook).
    Here's an example of a children's book interface from the Three Press Consulting blog:

  • Image navigator

    I am trying to use a custom graphic from the image navigator in an expression in the Lookout 6.0.2 program, but when I use this graphic and convert it to a WMF, Lookout returns an error "Graphics Directory Does Not Exit!".  The graphic I am modifying is the T-Intersection pipe that is located in the NI Pipes folder that is accessed with the image navigator.  I have rotated this particular pipe 270 degrees and shaded it with a turquoise fill color.  I have used the straight Pipe and Elbow pipes from this folder and altered them then converted them to WMF with no problem.  Any assistance with this problem or a work around would be appreciated.  Thanks.  Werner

    I got the same error. It seems that something wrong with "T intersection".

  • How can I assign image file name from Main() class

    I am trying to create library class which will be accessed and used by different applications (with different image files to be assigned). So, what image file to call should be determined by and in the Main class.
    Here is the Main class
    import org.me.lib.MyJNIWindowClass;
    public class Main {
    public Main() {
    public static void main(String[] args) {
    MyJNIWindowClass mw = new MyJNIWindowClass();
    mw.s = "clock.gif";
    And here is the library class
    package org.me.lib;
    public class MyJNIWindowClass {
    public String s;
    ImageIcon image = new ImageIcon("C:/Documents and Settings/Administrator/Desktop/" + s);
    public MyJNIWindowClass() {
    JLabel jl = new JLabel(image);
    JFrame jf = new JFrame();
    jf.add(jl);
    jf.setVisible(true);
    jf.pack();
    I do understand that when I am making reference from main() method to MyJNIWindowClass() s first initialized to null and that is why clock could not be seen but how can I assign image file name from Main() class for library class without creating reference to Main() from MyJNIWindowClass()? As I said, I want this library class being accessed from different applications (means different Main() classes).
    Thank you.

    Your problem is one of timing. Consider this simple example.
    public class Example {
        public String s;
        private String message = "Hello, " + s;
        public String toString() {
            return message;
        public static void main(String[] args) {
            Example ex = new Example();
            ex.s = "world";
            System.out.println(ex.toString());
    }When this code is executed, the following happens in order:
    1. new Example() is executed, causing an object to constructed. In particular:
    2. field s is given value null (since no value is explicitly assigned.
    3. field message is given value "Hello, null"
    4. Back in method main, field s is now given value "world", but that
    doesn't change message.
    5. Finally, "Hello, null" is output.
    The following fixes the above example:
    public class Example {
        private String message;
        public Example(String name) {
            message = "Hello, " + name;
        public String toString() {
            return message;
        public static void main(String[] args) {
            Example ex = new Example("world");
            System.out.println(ex.toString());
    }
