How to Implement Download?

Hi,
i have to make a download button in my JSP.On click of the button the records which are in the table of the JSP should go into a comma separated file and the download popup with Open,Save ,Cancel options should also popup.
Has anyone implemented this?

thnx for the response .... i can write the values in a CVS file ... but don't want my parent page to refresh .... and how to make the download popup i.e. just as we get an alert or confirm using javascript how do we get the download popup ...is there a javascript function available.

You can create a report that exports automatically to CSV - see Downloading of Selected Records to the Excel (this uses checkboxes for filters, but ignore those bits!)

How to implement Auto Suggest Widget

Hi there
I have a dynamic asp classic page, where the data come from an access db.
On this page, many documents (category and title ) are displayed for download.
I want to implement Auto Suggest Widget in order to find the document easier and to jump to it (href="#document_xy") directly for download.
I don't have a clue on how to implement the Auto Suggest Widget.
The ASP sample works with XML File.

I am sorry to ask again. I am not at all familiar with xml.
I have tried to modify the ASP script you've suggested, but I get strange XML error, which doesn't make sense to me.
I understand that with the script the server creates an XML File on the fly. First I have to connect to my access database, then I fill the records into a recordset object. And then the server loops through the RS and creates the xml file. Is that correct?
The error message I get, points to a complete different place in the code, to a javascript module, which is working perfectly without below code.
Any suggestions where the bug is?

The current Web Start / JNLP will supposedly download and install a JRE even if there is none installed, and allows you to specify which version. Here is an older web page that you can test with. I believe it will only install the current JRE.

My hard drive recently crashed and I have had to redownload everything. I have downloaded itunes, but when I try and hook up my ipod it says I need an apple mobile USB driver. How can I download that driver?

You can either use the manufacturer-supplied driver or NI-VISA to control your USB device but not both. If you have installed your device, each time you plug it in the FTD2XX.inf will associate your device with FTD2XX.sys. Then, you can use FTD2XX.dll to talk to your device using the call library function node. The DLL usually contains a whole bunch of useful functions that someone else already designed to talk to your device. This is the easier route and I would recommend it if you already have the DLL and the installed driver.
The second method would be to uninstall or disable the driver for your device and create an .inf file with NI-VISA Driver development wiazard. This .inf file will tell Windows to use VISA as your device driver. You will, however need the vendor and product ID of the device to use VISA as your driver. The details of this are outlined in the NI document "Using VISA 3.0 to control your USB device."
The drawback of this method is that VISA is just an API to talk to your device and you have to implement the communication protocol to talk to your device. This might take some time to do.
This is why I recommend the first method. Someone else already implemented the driver for your and you just have to use the functions from the dll to implement your application.

Can anybody please let me know how to impement oss note : 207260.
I need to implement Note : 207260 which is settlement rule for incorrect last used period.In this note its saying to run ZMIGCOBR to repair incorrect settlement rule for incorrect objects. But in this notes its not given any such program.
Please let me know how to implement OSS notes since i never done this before.

The transaction code SNOTE is used to implement OSS Notes. With the SNOTE
transaction, it is no longer necessary to register ABAP objects such as report function
modules etc. manually. But data dictionary objects such as screens, tables need to
be modified manually by registering them in OSS system.
In order to use the transaction code SNOTE, the relevant transport which implement
this transaction in the system need to be transported. Please refer to the SNOTE

Execute the Transaction code SNOTE
One of the first steps to do is to upload the note into your system.

You can also use the SAP Note upload if the note has been saved in your local
machine

as an example

To check the legend, follow Utilities à Color Legend
As you can see from the legends box, means Implemented Correctly.

system will prompt you to load those notes too into the system. Depending on
their applicability to your system, the system will prompt you accordingly to
apply the pre-requisite notes.
ü You can register the manually implemented SAP notes by executing the report
SCWN_REGISTER_NOTES.
ü SNOTE cannot change or modify data dictionary objects. If there is a note
which requires changes to be made to a structure or a screen then SNOTE will
not help. Such objects have to be registered and modified manually.

Every Time When the user Request the resource it has to check for the session validation.

Its a video about ADF Security that explains how you can use custom Resource Permissions for any kind of user authorization, plus the on-board page and task flow permission. Note that the session has nothing to do with authorization. All a session can be is authenticated after which users are associated with enterprise roles, which then are mapped to permissions (through application roles in ADF Security). So session management is not what you are looking for in this case.
