How to implement fullscreen controls?

Hi I've been struggeling to implement fullscreen controlls when using pure AS3. I want to show a non-streached playback controller in fullscreen mode. How can I do this using OSMF. Any code samples would be great.

How 2 implement keyboard controls for 2 players simultaneusly in java game?

I ' m making this fighting game . 2 players can fight at a time. I got my 2 characters on the screen at the same time. The 1st player should be controlled with Arrow keys and number key pad.
The 2nd player should be controlled with Z for left C for RIGHT , S for UP( jump), X for duck. and then use BNM, GHJ and TYU to do the same as the number keys for the first player
When i tried this , it worked if i performed moves from player 1 , then trie d player 2,, but i noticed when i pushed buttons at the same time ( i pushed one key from player 1 's side of the keyboard and one key from player 2's side) it did't work because no move was executed. And i know it's because i'm pushing 2 keys at once . so one character sees that i'm pushing 2 keys, but he doesn't know what to do cause i didn't make a case of pushing 2 keys that would move him and another character.
So i have this in keyDown()

It's bit tricky to do check keyboard simultaneously...
you need to check KeyPressed() and KeyReleased(), and do a "log key-event history" to find out what keys are still in pressed.
alternatively,
If you don't mind, you can use Fly game library...
initialisation part:

...and then on your key trapping logic, just do a standard logic. I'm surely it will works:

How to implement boolean control via network

I am developing an application by using LabVIEW 8.2 and RealTime. There is a host PC connecting to a PXI
through network cable. Application VIs are running at PXI and GUi is running at host PC. My problem is
When I config a boolean control as "Latch when release" mechanism, pass it to a shared network variable
and then to a boolean control at PXI. "Latch when release" mechanism seems not run very well. Most of the
time, no action when I press the boolean control button in my GUI. It seems that shared network variable
could not act as "Latch when release" mechanism. I checked some examples from NI. Most of examples set
the boolean control button mechanism as "Switch when press" and manually switch it status later on. I have
a bunch of such boolean control buttons in my GUI. It will be hard to handle every of them in this way.
I'd like to know whether there is an easier solution for this.

How are you passing the shared variable to the Boolean control in PXI VI?
Here is something to try out.
--Configure the Boolean controls on both systems to "latch until released".
--Create the shared variable (network-published) on the host PC and wire the output of the Boolean control to it.
--On the remote system, bind the Boolean control to the shared variable on the host PC. To bind to the shared variable, right click the Boolean control
   and select properties. Then select the "Data Binding" tab in the property window. Set the "data Binding selection" option to "Shared Variable Engine
   (NI-PSP)" and browse for the path to the shared variable created on the host PC.
--With this setting, whenever the Boolean control on the remote system (PXI) reads a true value, it stays true until the value is read by LabVIEW and
    goes back to the initial (false) state.

How to implement role control in my WebDynpro application?

Hi,
    I am new to WebDynpro development. And now I create a simple application PMS which uses the WebDynpro Client for client page, Mysql and iBatis for database layer.
    Now, I want to add role to my application to control the user accessing iViews.
   But I do not know if I could make it by configuring the backend server and some coding in the frontend. My colleague told me that I could only configure different applications for each role, so I must do this by inserting authorization code in my application.
    Any help will be welcomed.

Create a role in portal and assign your WD iView to that role. Now all the users that are assigned with the above created role in portal will be able to access the WD iView.
Is this your requirement or something else.

In table Control->first Header Row has chance to maintain the Tooltip option.
In table control columns maintain Double click options in attributes .

How to implement a client side map with ObjectImage control?

We need to implement a client side map with an ADF Faces ObjectImage control. In the code below, the JSF Faces GraphicImage contol does support a client side image map using the usemap property. However, it appears that the ADF Faces ObjectImage control does not support a client side map. Is there someway of implementing this functionality in an ObjectImage control?

We could use the Graphic Image control except we have a problem by mixing a JSF GraphicImage control in the same table with a variety of ADF Faces controls in that when a user clicks on the GraphicImage, then the browser windows scrolls down to center the GraphicImage control. A user then needs to scroll back up to see the rest of the page. If an ObjectImage control is used with an onClick action, then the page does not scroll, which is what we want. So if we can figure out how to add a client side map to an ObjectImage control we would get the desired results.
An alternative might be to use a server side map with the ObjectImage control. But our question here is how to implement the existing client side image map in a backing bean. As the following map code shows, not all image map areas are rectangles - some are polygons.

How can I implement recipe control concept in SAPME?
For example,
We can config the standard temperature setting needs to be between 100~120 degree C for Operation OP1 and Material MA1
So, before user start the SFC of MA1 at OP1, system can display the config values(100~120) for user reference, then, user need to input the real temperature when process the SFC, if it's out of spec, system can warning. System will collect the input data for analysis in future.

Since customer prefer to use a custom UI which can communicate with SAPME by web service.
So I can not use SAPME default data collection or work instruction user interface.
I'm considering by using data collection and work instruction config data to develop a web service in MII and poblish to custom UI in which it can display the spec data and reject user's input if out of spec.

I've this problem.
In our application to control healthcare expense I've implemented a cube with 6 dimensions. (here for who knows Italian : http://www.oracle.com/global/it/customers/profiles/profile_77.html )
The biggest dimension is the "patient" one, with 1.500.000 units at 5th level, grouped in geographic aggregates, until the entire city at highest level.
Now customers wants to have the possibility to select patiens with chronic disease from these. There are about 500 kinds of chronic diseases.
Every patient can have no one, one, or (and this is the problem) more then one of these chronic disease.
How to try to implement this? as a new dimensions or as an attribute ?
I've thought that best way is to introduce a new (chronic diseases) dimension, to have a way to select one or more of these diseases at all levels of patient dimension.
I'm asking how to solve the problem that a single patien can also have more than one disease.
Is there any way to implement this ?

my target is to add the "ilnesses" selection to other ones. The most important cube of my applications analyze
healthcare expenses from six dimensions. Customer wants analyze cube "adding" a way to select only "ilnesses" patients and elvaluate their expense.
I'm in doubt becouse a patient can also have more then one ilness, so I can't simply add a "ilnesses" dimensions to the cube and mapping it to an "ilness_id" in the fact table.
How can the two dimensioned cube to help me in this ?

Implementing Mitigation Control IDs

Hi,
We are planning to implement mitigation control ids in GRC. Currently we are only having 1 mitigation control id and all the users are mitigated into this id.
Now, the plan is to include the mitigation control advise/comments by the SOD approvers into the GRC and thus by introducing multiple mitigation control id we could achieve this.
In our system users are mapped as per the Business Unit and we have around 25-30 business units. so each BU is have a seprate mitigation control approval (SOD Approver).
We have around 150 Risk IDs.
We are not able to understand how to design mitigation control IDs in such case? Is it a best practice to create mitigation control ID for each Risk ID in the system (May be we can group similar Risk IDs)? Your help is appreciated.

No, for 1 Mitigation COntrol there are serveral Monitors and users who are mitigated are added to only 1 mitigation control id.
Which means you have multiple people monitoring every risk in your system. Does all of the monitors belong to the same functional group?? If yes, what happens if there is a risk in other functional groups? How they can identify and monitor it??
If no, why a FI functional group monitor, needs to monitor the risk related to other groups?
Can you pls explain more on primary and secondary functions?
If the risk is related to one functional area only, the respective functional area will own it. If it is a cross functional risk, then it will be owned by both the functional area managers, which is often referred as primary and secondary functions.
and what are the disadvantage of creating 1 mitigation control id for each risk (may be grouping some risks) considering the fact that we have 25 business units.
It is just like giving 1 coke with 100 straws while you still have a stock in your refrigerator

How to implement wafer mapping using LabVIEW?

Hello LabVIEW Masters!
I am having an incoming project which includes controlling and gathering information from a PROBER. One of the difficulties I am having now is how to implement a WAFER MAP using LabVIEW. According to my customer requirements, the wafer element ranges from 6k to 23k. I guess doing all the element (one die = one led ctl/indicator) will be a hell of a task, especially on how to effectively manipulate each elements. Does anyone have better idea on how to this?

As I am not too familiar in using intensity graph.
That's no reason to hand over programs for free...
My customer also request me that if the cursor hover on the wafer map, he wants the x,y corrdinates to be displayed.
I also have such a feature. Did you notice the little yellow cursor near the center of the wafer? One could easily change that to use a MouseMove event instead...
He also wants to select some elements in the wafer map and come up with the coordinate values to do some testing.
That's related to the cursor thing...
Some points:
- You have a customer that pays you. Why should I offer work for free?
- You can send me contact dates of your customer, I will make him an offer...
- When you take an job to provide software you should be able to code the software...
- The VI(s) are now some years old. I didn't code so well back those days and don't want to hand out those VIs as they are right now.
- I included some "license management" deep inside that program, I would have to remove this and spend time on testing afterwards...
- The VIs are based on the PROBER output format used by the customer. All the file handling has to be changed for/by you...

On this page, many documents (category and title ) are displayed for download.
I want to implement Auto Suggest Widget in order to find the document easier and to jump to it (href="#document_xy") directly for download.
I don't have a clue on how to implement the Auto Suggest Widget.
The ASP sample works with XML File.

I am sorry to ask again. I am not at all familiar with xml.
I have tried to modify the ASP script you've suggested, but I get strange XML error, which doesn't make sense to me.
I understand that with the script the server creates an XML File on the fly. First I have to connect to my access database, then I fill the records into a recordset object. And then the server loops through the RS and creates the xml file. Is that correct?
The error message I get, points to a complete different place in the code, to a javascript module, which is working perfectly without below code.
Any suggestions where the bug is?

How To implement a cfc connection

I am a newbie trying to figure out how to implement a remote connection to my coldfusion server via referencing my cfc file WITHOUT identifying my coldfusion server root folder.
Within my organization, I just reference a coldfuison file (*.cfm) in the browser and everything just works without me having to reference a coldfuison server path.
Every time I try using the Flex 4.5 wizard to create a data or service connection, I am always prompted for a root folder or url name for my coldfusion server.
How can I setup a connection (a CFC one) without having to specify my Coldfusion server root folder. Is there a wizard or must I write some remote access code in Flex??
Can someone point me to a book, an example of how to write a remote access code which will allow me to reference a CFC file so I can attach it to a data control.
