How to implement Multiple Roadmap step with in a roadMap

Hi,
I am trying to implement Multiple roadmap step with in a roadMap.Can any one help me on this how to do it.
As of now i have added Multiple roadmap step element with in my Road map navigation and assign a data source which contains single attribute steps. I am stuck here open question like
1) How i map the view accordingly with the steps that are dynamically created
2) Weather i have to create dynamic plugs? to handle it
Can any one help me out or if you have any sample implementation please guide me through that link.

Hi,
1. In the View add a RoadMapUI element.
2. Right click->Insert Steps (as many as required)
3. Set the design property of the Roadmap step as standard / selected (Highlighted if set to "Selected")
This is for a static approach i.e if there are 3 views, then in all the three views u repeat the procedure above and set the property as Selected for the required step.
For dynamic selection of roadmap, bind the design property to context attribute of type WDRoadMapDesign and set the property thru code.

Hint is : A row with the same key already exists it means , It is assigning the same value/Key to row and you are calling it at WDDOINIT so it giving error at the time of initialization .
Better way to do the coding at some event in view OR if not possible than just execute the first value help in wddoinit later clear all the value before gettig the other Value help. Code it at WdDoModify View to get its run time behaviour.

Please give me details about how to implement list of values with bind parameters.
I have implemented with below things.
1) created lov view object with query like select meaning, lookup_code from fnd_lookup_values where lookup_type=:1;
2) The above vo added to applicationa module.
3) created Controller class in the co class written code in processRequest();

am.invokemethod("Initialize",params);
4) In AM Impl Class invoke the VO
5) In VO Impl class executed the query..
But the above process working fine but when i give the value in lov text field like 'C' then press tab button the result will not showing instead of that i am getting error message, i want to implement standard lov functionality while implementing query with bind parameter.
any thing reqired to add the code to controller for search criteria..

How to use multiple midi controllers with Mac book pro (2 usb)?

I have a newer macbook pro that has 2 USB ports, and a lightning port and a firewireport.
On stage I will be using the firewire port connected to a Presonus Firestudio mobile to use as the interface to the house mixer.
I will use 1 USB for my M-audio Axiom 61
I will use the other for my Yamaha WX-5 Wind synth
I'd like to be able to get the apogee midi foot controller to control the playback audio. For example I'll be using it to stay in a solo section, then step on it to move it forward ot the next section when I am done soloing
I'd also like to use some sort of midi switch to turn on vocal effects of the mic.
Anyway since I only have 2 USB ports, how should I connect the 3rd, or 4th USB midi controller?
Will a USB hub work to do this? If so, will I always have to remember to use the same controler in the same exact hub input to make sure everything maps the same?
I guess I'll also have to learn how to setup multiple controllers in Mainstage as well.

is a question which many of us have spent ...
I think the obvious answer is that yes you can use a hub and connect everything. however ....
sincerely advise you to buy a good hub that is well feasible, the last thing you want on stage / rehearsal is one of midi controllers stop responding, or stay with hanged notes... etc., do not buy just because it is cheap it has to be stable and viable, some bring cable for connecting wall power just to not drain power from the USB port.
Other things to try is to distribute as much equipment for USB / Midi.
For example one of midi controllers connect via USB but not by Midi outside the Presonus Firestudio. Connecting Presonus Firestudio to a single USB port as it is a main equipment.
but it really is an issue that greatly limits the use of USB devices.
Try it and tell me how it went. Good luck

How to implement copy paste functionality with IE

I am working on jdev 11.1.1.6.0, I have requirement to implement copy & paste functionality with IE Browser in ADF table. I have followed below link to implement the functionality.

How to implement a two step maintainance?

Hi,
I am trying to implement a two step maintainance , in the sense I have a table-control on the screen .
I will have one push button called new entries on the application toolbar .
If i click on new entries , it should take me to another screen and after i enter the entries and save it , it should get saved in the table control and the table control should be in non-editable mode .

Do the following:
1. Mark all table control columns as Output Only, so that user cannot make entry directly in tabel control.
2. In PBO of screen where table control is shown code the following:
tabcon-lines = lines( itab ).
Where tabcon is the table control name and itab is the internal table which contains the records. This way no additional (blank) rows will be shown in the table control
3. Create a new screen and define in the screen all the fields (columns) of your table control. Program a button (maybe the save button) so that in PAI
CASE OKCODE.
WHEN 'SAVE'.
APPEND wa TO itab.
LEAVE TO SCREEN 0.
ENDCASE.
Assuming the screen fields are stored in a work area WA or type of internal table itab.
What thsi will do after clicking SAVE button, the itnernal table record will be added and control will return to table control screen and the new record will be displayed.

How to handle multiple inbound interfaces with WSDL messages

We have a synchronous: Abap Proxy -> XI -> WebService Scenario. The webservice has multiple SoapActions e.g. SearchForProduct_WithX, SearchForProduct_WithY each with different message types. We have tried to use the receiver determination to send the request to the correct soapaction using conditions e.g. if field X in the request is populated use SearchForProduct_WithX action/message.
But when we run it through the proxy we get this error:

<ERRORTEXT>Multiple inbound interfaces not supported for synchronous calls</ERRORTEXT>
Does anybody know how we can get around this or how best to deal with the multiple soap actions per wsdl situation.

We have used conditions in the Interface Determination. Interestingly if we use an HTTP sender adapter we can use this configuration ... but once we try and use ABAP proxies we get the previous error.
Another related question ... when we use the http adapter we get a connection time out exception. Same thing happens if we try and use the wsdl tester at /wsnavigator but we can open the wsdl through the browser. Any idea on this one?

We just have our exchange setup correctly with our Snow Leopard clients. Everything is working perfect, email, calendar. The only problem is despite the OSX's Address Book being integrated, there is no possible way to view everyone in the company. In the online web outlook, one can access the "global address list".
How do we setup a company list in OSX's address book?

I would suggest prototyping it, and gaining some experience. Each installation I've done has been different, and with different requirements.
You can get a list from LDAP, but you have to search for it, and you'll get the matching subset. It's not what an Outlook user would be accustomed to. An Outlook user would think the non-LDAP display from Address Book would be familiar. Unfortunately, AB doesn't provide write-sharing by default, and while enabling write sharing is feasible, there's a recent post from somebody that's discussed this with Apple support indicating that Apple has stated that corruptions are possible with that path.
Mac OS X Server is not a drop-in replacement for an Exchange server. Not by default. And Mac OS X Server is also lacking a direct analog to Sharepoint, FWIW; you can add that and implement parts of Sharepoint, but not all of what that product provides.
Kerio might be an option for Mail and LDAP and related, but at extra cost. Kerio also gets you push notifications to Apple devices, and some folks need that feature of Exchange.

How to implement multiple files upload

RichFaces has a cool component for uploading multiple files with flash. But we use ADF and we need to deploy it on a 10G server. With multiple upload I mean that it should be possible to press a browse button and in the file dialog select multiple files instead of the standard one file.
Do you know any open source flash fileupload applications and do you have an example of how to integrate it with ADF?

I have done that but rather then using a single <af:inputFile> to upload a file i have used multiple of the same and set their rendered property as true when user clicks on add another attachments. The trick to call a java method from the doDML method of entity object and writing your custom logic their. Also you need to used Partial Submit =true on the Submit button of the creation page so that page does not get submited and you do not loose the Uploaded File Objects when you press commit button.

Where MethodBinding vb = ctx.getApplication().createMethodBinding("#{AddIwoAttachment.insert}",c); creates the methodBinding to the same object whick backs the af:inputFile ActionListener and mehtodBinding .invoke calls the method and para is used to supply other attribute values.
