How to initialize SAP calendar of a date field

Hello,
I have a date field in Adobe.
I need to initialize the SAP calendar(but not the field) that is shown if one chooses the calendar.
The SAP calendar shows always the current month and date. Is it possible to initialize the SAP calendar with some other month but current month and how?

I am sorry again, I don´t get exactly what your problem is. are you sure it is related to Adobe forms?
If you want to start the pick up of the date in adobe form from a particular date, first fill in such a date into the field and next open the field and the help calendar will be displayed with the month and year you used in the date field value. You cannot change anything in this adobe form component. You can only attach some messages/ actions to the field that will tell the user that such a date is not acceltable and why (message box: "only saturdays possible, my friend" etc.) and maybe clear the field value or set some default value and make the user pick up the date again.

I am attempting to add a date field and then have a another field add an amount to a box if the date is less than 30 days. Later I want to update the form to have the today's date is less than 10 days.

You can found the Active and Inactive Parameters. You can Specify the date period you want to block.
If it is Business Partner Means
Go to Business partners => Select the Business partner you want to block.
You can find the Active and Inactive Parameters. You can Specify the date period you want to block.
If you want period means
Go to Administration => System Initialization => Posting period => Click the above period => Select the period status and Lock

I realise you're not an abaper, but if you got one in, he could simply create a subclass of /SAPPSSRM/CL_FY_NUMBER (assuming it's not been made final) and override only the method that needs changing. ( if it is final, then you have to use composition, but again, that's pretty straight forward ). The point is, that copy a class rarely, if ever, needs to be done. That's one of the major points about using classes. If you use subclassing or composition, only small amounts of code need to be copied - which means if SAP change other bits in a new release, you automatically get them, thereby reducing the risk of an upgrade mucking up your cloned class.
I'd be extremely nervous about having any code that had been implemented by a non-developer, being put into productive use.

How to process reports with two different date fields

Morning all,
This question is somewhat similar to what I asked few days back. I created two different reports for two different departments (Credit Control and Free of Charge Control).
These two reports pull data from two different date fields and has different status check ups.
Few days back my director requested me if he can have both reports in one report. That is when I asked question from all of you regarding two reports.
Anyhow, that was created by implementing two sub reports however, the director asked me to combine the two different reports into one in such a way that the output records should be added up with each other hence one single report with all combined data of Credit Control and Free of Charges (not two sub reports in one report).
The problem here which I am getting is that, both reports uses two different date fields. I can live with two different statuses as that can be easily done within formula/RT however how to create a report with Report Selection Formula condition which looks in both date fields and produces results accordingly?
I have tried this by not putting any condition in report selection formula and ran the report, it produced total results from past 6 years.
Any ideas how to produce combined report which has two different date fields?

No the both dates are from two different databases, tables and fields. The Credit date field is from KLAB database under max table where as the FOC date field is from SAE database under maxmast table. Klab date is under credit2 table where as foc date is under order header table.
So its more like this:
Klab->Max-Credit2--->Credit_date
Sae->Maxmast->Order_header---Date entered.
two dates totally different tables, dbs
however, I will try your idea too and see if that works.

ManuThe reason for the question about the format of the column is because the simplest solution only works on DATE columns. Others have mentioned this here, but if you want the difference between two date fields, you can use this formula:
TIMESTAMPDIFF(SQL_TSI_DAY, date_column1, date_column2)
The above being said, you still didn't tell me what you did, or what error message you received. So again, if the above formula didn't work, what did you do? Where did you put the formula? What was the exact syntax you used? What was the error message you got?

I AM TRYING TO USE DATE PICKER ON A DATE FIELD IN PORTAL.
I DOWNLOADED date-picker.js FROM THE WEB(AS INDICATED BY SOME POSTINGS HERE).
I USED SHOW_CALENDAR ON THE onFocus EVENT OF MY DATE FIELD. MY CALENDAR SHOWS UP BUT NOTHING IS RETURNED TO THE FIELD ONCE I SELECT A DATE. CAN ANYONE PLEASE TELL ME THE CORRECT/STEP-BY-STEP WAY TO DO THIS ?

Short of adding your own query extensions, you must pass in a Date
parameter vs some stringified version.

How to add a mm-dd-yyyy date field type in a Planning Data Form

pls, I have one question regarding the possibility of adding a date field type for example 03-03-2009 in a cell of Planning Data Form application.
for example, I created:
- 2 members in Period dimension: StartProject and EndProject and I need to enter and track date for these fields;
- one Account member called Project;
- and a simple form with these collumns and row;
Trying different settings for my members - seems that I cannot input date in the cell and rcvd errror: "you have entered invalid value".
Pls, can you confirm me if it's possible to enter date type in a form?
If yes, what is the specific setup for the Account and Period properties: Data storage, Time Balance, Data type, Account type etc

So you mean for the date field you want to show slashes by default. I don't think that forms will support this type of things.
BTW may i know what is the purpose to show like this?
If you use the normal format which is DD/MM/RRRR it will add the slashes automatically. When user will enter date like this 01012010.

How to initialize delta for a new data target

Hi
I have an ODS from which there are several other targets getting updated thru an export datasource. The delta initialization happend some 6 months back. I now have a new ODS into which i need to load the data from the original ODS. How can i initialise the delta to my new target without changing the delta initialization of the other targets and continue the delta for all of them together?
can i use the same initialization for my new target??
If i do a full update and then a initialise w/o data transfer, will the further delta bring the data from the correct point, is there a possiblity of data loss??

Hi Ajay,
the steps are as follows.
1 delete the initialization. open infopackage >> menu scheduler >> Initialization options for source systems >> delete the request thats there.
2. Now go to the Update tab of the infopack >> select option Initialize Delta process >> check the option initialize without Data transfer
3. Goto Schedule tab and start the job.
here the data targets will be all the targets the infopack loads.
4. Create a new infopack
5. goto Data targets tab >> select data targets >> put a check on your new ODS/Cube
6. Goto Update tab >> select the option Full update
7. goto menu Scheduler >> select Repair full request >> put a check on Indicate request as Repair Request >> hit OK
8. Goto schedule tab >> start the job.
9. Continue with the existing Delta infopack that was load the old ODS/Cubes and make sure your new ODS/Cube is also cheked for the delta.

How do I restore calendar from earlier date?

I removed calendars from my view, not knowing that it removed the calendar data itself. Is their anyway to retrieve that data?

Only through itunes.
When you have the itunes panel up.
On the LH side panel where the device appears, if it doesn't then yourv'e got problems.
When you see the device, two finger click on it and a sub menu dialogue block appears with options.
Press the desired option to get to the main dialogue control panel and proceed from there.

When you do J1II OR J1IIN u will find the posting date that is nothing but Date which is used when entering the document in Financial Accounting or Controlling. For time system is taking the SAP time to record the doc.

Using CR XI. Using CSV input from ODBC text driver. No problems here.
There are 3 fields that I want the same group by action. Is this possible?)
If any one of these 3 fields change I want some header information and column fieldnames to display. The header information I only want displayed on the first page (on the change) and the column fieldnames to display on every page. I have played around with things like "InRepeatedGroupHeader" and "report group header on each page". I am not getting all the results that I am looking for though.
I want report to look like:
Page header stuff (to display on every page) This data consists of some fields that will have static data and will display on every page. And it consists of 3 non-static fields that I want to group on.
Group header stuff that I only want displayed on the first page on a change from one of the 3 fields mentioned above.
Column headings that I want displayed on every page.
Details data
Group footer stuff (details not important for this)
I get the expected output (column headings displayed on every page, and group header stuff display on the first page on each group change) with one group field. But I want the group change to happen for all 3 fields.
It seems simple but I can't find a way to create a "group" so if "field1 or field2 or field3" change, I get the same "group by" action. I just need to know how to get the expected action.
I expect that I might have some terms mixed up and/or some important information that would aide you in helping me. If that is the case please re-post and I will add any missing or mis-stated information.

I am slightly confused, but perhaps you can create a formula
Then group on the formula. If this is not what you want, could you post some sample data, with the desired results.
