Java programming ,will u help me to input char and
float variables? If u want to input variables from a properties file look at the class java.util.Properties(http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4/docs/api/java/util/Properties.html)
If you want to read user input from the keyboard look at System.in (http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4/docs/api/java/lang/System.html#in)
and also will u tell me how to clear the screen(just
like we do system("clear"))

  • How to compare char and numc in select query

    Hi  Experts,
I am using For all entries  to combine two tables.
I want to fetch the data from these tables.
The field in one table char, and in another the field is numc.
1st Query from table BDCP2  and get the tabkey value is like (2000000000000000000086200000000000000000000)
2nd query     For all entries found,
query table ESTMJ with the following parameter.
         ESTMJ-RECN = BDCP2-TABKEY+3(20)
    1.TABKEY         CHAR     254
    2.RECN         NUMC     20
How to compare these two ?
    Regards,
    Bindhu Priya.

for  two fields numc & char , please check out their Conversion routine in their respective Database table.
1st in SE11-> enter table names in different sessions. and check out the data domain used by this fields
In their respective domains of fields, click on tab 'DEFINITIONS', then check out the conversion routines in Output Characteristics of the Data Domain of field
From my point of view, both the Conversion routines should be the same.
If Conversion Routines are not there, then insert suitable Conversion routine for both the fields domain
For help for for conversion routines:

  • How to determine INT and FLOAT in a DECODE statement

Can anyone help me with the following problem:
I have a column defined as a NUMBER(15,4). I am trying to determine the java type using the getScale() method in ResultSetMetaData. When the scale is greater than 0, then it is an float, else it is an int. In this case, the getScale() method should return 4. However, when querying with a DECODE statement on the NUMBER(15,4) field, the getScale() method always returns 0 and the value is therefore converted to an int. Anyone knows how to solve this problem?
    Thanks

    Alcides,
Oracle NUMBER data type is mapped to "java.math.BigDecimal" class.
You will find more information in the JDBC Developer's Guide and Reference which is part of the Oracle documentation and available from:
    http://www.oracle.com/technology/documentation/index.html
    Good Luck,
    Avi.

(Think java.io except with spreadsheet files instead of .txt files.) I already answered that question.
I need to accomplish this without the use of a community-created library. That's a bizarre requriement. Why?

    Okay, [here you go|http://lmgtfy.com/?q=communication+between+StarOffice+Spreadsheets+and+Java].
If you don't have any knowledge or experience, on the matter, please refrain from directing me to a google search. I assure you, I have already performed such a task. How would I know that.
But okay, let's say I know that. Let's say you bothered to point out that you've already done that. Further, let's say I do have knowledge of the subject at hand. Maybe I'm an expert. Maybe I wrote Star Office and an open source library (which wheel for some reason you must reinvent). You are assuming that I also have psychic powers, so that I can read your mind and know exactly what you've read so far and exactly what parts of your very broad and vague question said reading did not answer.

but the problem is when i am executing the Query, weeks are comeing along with amount also.i need separate amount and weeks .
could you people please give some clues?
    thanks alot

    Hi gaurav,
    its not the Cumilative amount.
    for exp....
i have year/weeks and amount along with Employee details
i need to planify that data.some data will be with input ready cells in planification.
i need the result like this..

    Dear Expert,
Please tell me how to display properties of dimension on the input form and report in bpc. I can only display dimension number.
    thanks so much
    hungth

    Hi Hungh,
If your are using BPC 10 with EPM add in client, you can use the function:
    EPMDimensionProperty ()
This function retrieves the properties of a specified dimension in a specified cell range.

Depending on which soundcard you have there, but if your card is capable for
ASIO -> activate I/O drivers on Sonar/Options/Audio/Drivers -tab (mic/line sources should be listed there --> activate) and select the mic or/and Line sources on tracks "I" - dialog
WDM/KS -> use the Surround Mixer or windows recording controls for recording source selection (mic should be listed there)
    MME32 - > same w/ WDM/KS
    If you use Asio4All --> same w/ WDM/KS & MME32
No mic and line source simultaenously w/ WDM/KS and MME32.
You perhaps be able to do this w/ kX drivers.

    ADDED:
You can also install modded version of Audigy 2 drivers/software but I have never done this w/ Li've! 5. so I can't be sure if you get ASIO support for your card.
Here are the instruction --> http://www.tech-pc.co.uk/audigy-2.php

How to get the fixed result in a DES/CBC mode with fixed input data and fixed key. Below is my program , I tried to get the checksum of the DESInputData with the DESKeyData, but each time the result is different.
    below is my code:
    byte[] DESKeyData = {(byte)0x01 ,(byte)0x01 ,(byte)0x01 ,(byte)0x01, (byte)0x01 ,(byte)0x01 ,(byte)0x01 ,(byte)0x01 };

  • How to define Length of char. and KF

During infoobject creation, how to define the length of char. and KF, is it related to master data text length ? Should we take other things into account? When we see one field in table, the length of the field was defined with 2, but its master data text length was more than 2, what's the reason for this things?
Edited by: hi ni on Apr 18, 2008 12:12 PM

    hi,
how to define the length of char. and KF, is it related to master data text length ?
ther business will have defined  length and type for any characteristics. ex - Materail number may have lenth of max 15 and is Char type.
but for text max size is by default 40 chars.
Should we take other things into account?
get spec from client, that could be better and also consider the field used to map ur char/KF from source system.

  • How to set input delay and output delay when source Synchronous

ClkIN is the board clock which is connected to the FPGA. Clkif is the generated clock from ClkIN. The Device's clk come from Clkif. So, how to set input delay and output delay in this scene(within my understand, this is Source Synchronous)?
The example in many document, the input delay and output delay setting all refer to board clock(within my understand, this is System Synchronous). In that scene, the input delay max = TDelay_max + Tco_max; input delay min = Tdelay_min + Tco_min; the output delay max = Tdelay_max + Tsu; output delay min = Tdelay_min - Th.
So, I want to know how to set input/output delay in the Source Synchronous.
In system synchronous, I set input/output delay such as:
    create_clock -period 20.000 -name ClkIN -waveform {0.000 10.000} [get_ports ClkIN]
    create_generated_clock -name Clkif -source [get_pins cfg_if/clk_tmp_reg/C] -divide_by 2 [get_pins cfg_if/clk_tmp_reg/Q]
    create_clock -period 40.000 -name VIRTUAL_clkif //make virtual clock
    set_input_delay -clock [get_clocks VIRTUAL_clkif] -min 0.530 [get_ports DIN]
    set_input_delay -clock [get_clocks VIRTUAL_clkif] -max 7.700 [get_ports DIN]
    set_output_delay -clock [get_clocks VIRTUAL_clkif] -min -0.030 [get_ports DOUT]
    set_output_delay -clock [get_clocks VIRTUAL_clkif] -max 1.800 [get_ports DOUT]
    *******************************************************************************************

So, first. Architecturally, the clock that you forward to your external device should not come directly from the clock tree, but should be output via an ODDR with its D1 input tied to logic 1 and the D2 tied to logic 0. This guarantees minimal skew between the output data and the forwarded clock.
    ODDR #(
    .DDR_CLK_EDGE("OPPOSITE_EDGE"), // "OPPOSITE_EDGE" or "SAME_EDGE"
    .INIT(1'b0), // Initial value of Q: 1'b0 or 1'b1
    .SRTYPE("SYNC") // Set/Reset type: "SYNC" or "ASYNC"
    ) ODDR_inst (
    .Q (Clkif_ff), // 1-bit DDR output
    .C (ClkIN_BUFG), // 1-bit clock input
    .CE (1'b1), // 1-bit clock enable input
    .D1 (1'b1), // 1-bit data input (positive edge)
    .D2 (1'b0), // 1-bit data input (negative edge)
    .R (rst), // 1-bit reset
    .S (1'b0) // 1-bit set
    OBUF OBUF_inst (.I (Clkif_ff), .O (Clkif_out));
This generates an output clock that is the same frequency as your input clock. This is consistent with your drawing, but inconsistent with your constraints - is the forwarded clock a 50MHz clock or a 25MHz clock?
I will assume your ClkIN goes to a BUFG and generates ClkIN_BUFG.  Your first constraint generates a 50MHz clock on the ClkIN port which will propagate through the BUFG to (among other places) this ODDR.
    create_clock -period 20.000 -name ClkIN -waveform {0.000 10.000} [get_ports ClkIN]
Assuming your forwarded clock is supposed to be 50MHz, then your 2nd command is close to correct
    create_generated_clock -name Clkif -source [get_pins cfg_if/ODDR_inst/C] -combinational  [get_pins cfg_if/ODDR_inst/Q]
With this done, you have successfully described the forwarded clock from your design. This is the clock that goes to your device, and hence should be the clock which is used to specify your input and output constraints.
    set_input_delay -clock [get_clocks Clkif] -min 0.530 [get_ports DIN]
    set_input_delay -clock [get_clocks Clkif] -max 7.700 [get_ports DIN]
    set_output_delay -clock [get_clocks Clkif] -min -0.030 [get_ports DOUT]
    set_output_delay -clock [get_clocks Clkif] -max 1.800 [get_ports DOUT]
If you want to get fancier, you could try adding a set_clock_latency to the forwarded clock to account for the board propagation of the clock
    set_clock_latency -source TDtrace2 [get_clocks Clkif]
(But I haven't experimented with clock latency on a generated clock and I don't know for a fact that it works).

There are two split( ... ) methods; check the other one (the one with two arguments), it allows for empty entries to be counted, i.e. split(inputString, -1) gives you the wanted results.

You may be able to set it up to send a character, or sequence of characters that you can interpret as "move focus to the input cell, and input the remainder of the input there", if you can't do that, then you will have to just deal with the fact that people will end up scanning the bar codes into the quantity field.

    3
3065.1The text between the [ ] is the output from my arraylists. I have three arraylists. The first [ ] belongs to arraylist A, the second to arraylist B, and the third to arraylist C. The format of the arraylists is this:
