How to insert date picker from drop down calendar in forms

I want to insert a calendar to select the date from in the 'Date of Training' column in my forms instead of manually typing in the date each time - how do I do this please?

There's no built-in calendar component in Acrobat forms. There are some third-party ones, though. The main ones are a free one that uses fields by FormRouter and a paid tool which uses a dialog object, developed by Max Wyss.

    Hi Vijaya,
    You can get the value of selected from drop down as below
    Check out the event handler method attached to Onselect event of the ui element drop down by index , if no event is associated, then create an event and attach to the drop down list
    Now you will be having the CONTEXT_ELEMENT in the WDEVENT parameter
                   data lo_element type ref to if_wd_context_element.
                   lo_element = wdevent->get_context_element( name = 'CONTEXT_ELEMENT').
    Now, you can get the static attribute value of selected  drop down value & let us say your drop down list values are populated from context node 'ND_DRP_DOWN'
                   data ls_data type wd_this->element_nd_drp_down.
                             lo_element->get_static_attributes(
                                       importing
                                       static_attributes = ls_data ).

  • Data Flow from Drop Down and Visibility

    Hello VCers,
    I am building a sample VC app, where I have one iView and two forms, "Country Selection" and "Country Results".
    Initially "Country Selection" form only will be visible and "Country Results" for will be invisible.
    In the First form, I want to enable to the user to select the country from dropdown and after that, I want to display the country, user selected in "Country Results" form.
    Could you please help me on,
    1. how to get the value from dropdown in the 1st form to 2nd form?
    2. How to make the visibilty of "Country Results" form to be visible when the user selects country in the 1st form.

    For First Question:
    Using signal in and Signal out you can get the data from one form to another Form.
    1.create a button with Customaction in First form a
    2.Drag  a signal out from output port of first form and assaing the Customaction as event .
    3.Add a signal in to the input port of 2nd Form but the names of both signal in and signal out should be same.
    After selcting the Country and Clicking on the ok button it will go to 2nd form.
    For Second Question.
    To put a visibility condition depending on the country filed value
    Set the visibility condition of 2nd form to BOOL(@CountryFiledofFirstform).

  • How to insert data coming from 2 different file adapters in to one DB adapt

    i want insert data in to database containing two diffferent tables, so i imported tables in to DB adapter by creating relation ships.But, data for two tables are in xml format & two are in different locations.So, i used 2 file adapters to get data from 2 different & i used BPEL(Define service later) Service. now in bpel i used receive activity to receive one file adapter data ( i checked create instance in receive) then used transform activiy for tranformation & finally invoke activity to invoke DB adapteer........similarly i repeated sequetially to 2 file adapter, by keeping 2nd receive(no need to check create instance) next to invoke.*Problem is after deployment finished only data coming from 1st receive is inserting to the table...& 2 nd receive not working it showing as Pending & showing as Asynchronus Call back inte console*
    I configured all the adapters perfectly..........Can any one can help me how to Commit 2 nd receive to insert data in the 2nd table

    I am doing this in 11g there is no problem regarding transform activity.
    My requirement is
    two different files from two different folders in a drive & we can't use one file adapter bcoz both have different columns(only few are common columns) so we use two different xsd's .So, i am using two file adapters to insert in database having two different tables with respect to two different files data coming from two file adapters. i am using one DB adapter to insert bcoz both tables are in same database with relationships & i used BPEL(define service later) .
    NOW PLEASE SUGGEST ME THE FLOW IN BPEL TO INSERT BOTH FILES IN THERE RESPECTIVE TABLES IN DATABASE.
    The flow i did 1st file adater--->receive--->transform---->invoke----->DB adapter.....Then again repeating this as keeping 2nd receive below 1st invoke
    2nd file adapter-------->2nd receive---->2nd invoke------>same DB adapter
    MY problem is only data coming from 1st process is inserting & 2nd one is not working as i discussed earlier........I USED READ FILE OPTION, UNCHECKED DELETE FILES OPTION & SET DIFFERENT POLLING FREQUENCY FOR BOTH FILE ADAPTERS.
    I tried to set correlation but it is not working & later tried i kept non-blocking invoke as TRUE in DB adapter also didn't work...........also i tried this transaction property in bpel component _<property name="bpel.config.transaction"_
    many="false" type="xs:string">required / requiresNew</property>...............BUT NO CHANGE...........

    Base on my test in excel 2013, it works fine.
    Create a new excel file and save as xls
    Add data (data validation for dropdownlist)
    What’s the version of your excel? Could you reproduce that issue in a new file? You may share the sample file on the OneDrive.

    I'm not sure what you're talking about... if you don't select an option from the list, the onchange function isn't going to be called, so of course the the alert isn't working.
    You sound like you are complaining that when the form submits, the value for the select list is the first option (""). I fail to see why this is a problem. If the value is "", then you handle it like nothing was selected. In a single select list like that, an option is always selected. The whole point of having a blank option is to allow the user to pick it. Otherwise don't put a blank option.
    In general, you don't need to use a button to do reset, you use a reset button: input type="reset". And it'll reset on it's own.

  • Restrict Date rule selection from drop down

    Hi all,
    I am using date type srv_cust_beg and srv_cust_end.
    For date type srv_cust_beg i have assigned date rule Today+time.
    For date type srv_cust_end i have not assigned any date rule as consultant should fill this manually.
    My requirement is that consultant should enter the dates manually and they should not select the date rule from the drop down for srv_cust_end.
    For the date type srv_cust_end, we can see todaytime date rule from drop down as this date rule is assigned to srv_cust_beg.
    Is there any possiblity to restict the drop down selection?

    The drop down is due to the Date Rule assigned to your Date Profile.
    Since all those 3 date rules are assigned to your Date Profile, you are seeing all those 3 date rules in the drop down.

    Create a node with cardinality 0-n and selection property set to 0-n
    Create a table UI element and bind this node as a datasource to this table.
    Set the selection mode  property of this table as auto or multi
    Once this is done, populate the node with some data elements.
    When you run the application, you will be able to select multiple rows from the table.
    To get the selected rows, use below code on the action of some button

    Best would be to move all bookmarks in the Unsorted Bookmarks folder to a folder in the Bookmark Menu folder or the Bookmarks Toolbar.
    That would only leave you with the menu entry.
    Clicking the star in the location bar will bookmark the page in the "Unsorted Bookmarks" folder and the star turns yellow (blue on Mac) to show that.<br />
    Click the highlighted star a second time to open the "Edit This Bookmark" pop-up and move the bookmark to another folder or edit the name.

    I have created a Registration form for users to register to
    my web site. With this I would like the data they have entered to
    be stored in a MySQL database. I have created the a form and used
    the record insertion form wizard.
    When they have registered, I need to be able to check their
    username every time they log in.

    You can't do it with JavaScript. You need to use a
    server-side language

    I need to retain all the formula's and the sheets these formulas are linked from.

    Have you considered switching out of Keynote and over to your spreadsheet program when you get to this slide? If you launch the speadsheet program before Keynote you can switch using Command-Tab. You can then switch back into Keynote when you are done.
    I realize that this is not what you were looking for but I don't think it is possible to do exactly what you want.

    Try Mail>Preferences>Accounts icon>Account Information tab>Click on the Outgoing SMTP server drop down, choose edit Server list, highlight the old one & click Remove.

    Tou need to do a couple of things
    1. On the Essbase server, set up an odbc system connection to your MySQL database
    2. In the load rule , go to the file menu and select open SQL data source and in the data source put in your SQL statement . A couple of hints. Where it says Select, don't put in the word select and where it say from don't put in from. The system adds them for you. The easiest way ti enter a SQL statement is to do it all in the select area So if your SQL would normanlly say select * from mytable just enter the code as * from mytable in the select area
    The click ol/retrieve and enter in your connection info. Itshould bring data back into the load rule. Save the load rule and use it
