How to insert records from form to database?

Hi all, i manage to make a connection from my form in adobe designer 7
to my database Oracle 9i, now i want to add some buttons to the form
and navigate, delete or add data from my form to the database, anyone
has ideas to accomplish this?, i made a button and use this code
"xfa.sourceSet.dataConnectionName.addNew();" without the "", but in the
debugger this message appears:
"TypeError: xfa.sourceSet.dataConnectionName has no properties
1:XFA:form1[0].hola[0].Button1[0]:click"
hope someone can help me with this problem, thanks in advance.

My data connection is with microsoft access (local mode). When i configure the data connection i make the test and it says test succes, but...
how do i know if the connection is really made when i open my form in acrobat? I only need to do new data conection in designer and create de button or a need to configure something else?
When i create the button ... i only need copy in the javascript window...

i have created UDO i have also done registration i want to bind item master completely to matrix and then in one column i will set check box to check unchecked and then i want to save it to database
i have one user defined form and 4 matrix and 4 child tables
for each matrix i have given 1 form and i have to transfer the data from temp form to main form matrix having large data in matrix on temp form to main form matrix
to load data on matrix i have used for loop that i want to avoid so how i can bind large data to matrix without for loop

This is regarding screen painter area..
I have created a Z-table.
Also created a screen where i am having input box.
After entering text in the input box, i will click "SAVE" push button.
When i click "SAVE" push button, the Text entered in the screen input box should be saved in that z-table.
How to do it...??
Can anybody explain me with ABAP code...???

You can try follwong logic.
tables : ztable.
data wa_ztable like line of ztable.
Case sy-ucomm.
when 'SAVE'.
clear wa_ztable.
wa_ztable-field1 = screenfield1.
wa_ztable-field2 = screenfield2.
wa_ztable-field3 = screenfield3.
modify ztable from wa_ztable.
endcase.
If it is simple database insertion,
you can always use Table Maintainance provided by SAP.
So that the code will be automatically generated and you dont have to worry.

How to insert field from form into subject line of email

I have a form:

and I would like to have the name of the person fill in automatically in the subject line. Right now when the email button is clicked the subject line reads: "Submitted Human Sequencing Tertiary Analysis Submission Form." Once the form is filled out, I would like the subject line to read: "[PI-Name] - Submitted Human Sequencing Tertiary Analysis Submission Form," (as highlighted below)

Tou need to do a couple of things
1. On the Essbase server, set up an odbc system connection to your MySQL database
2. In the load rule , go to the file menu and select open SQL data source and in the data source put in your SQL statement . A couple of hints. Where it says Select, don't put in the word select and where it say from don't put in from. The system adds them for you. The easiest way ti enter a SQL statement is to do it all in the select area So if your SQL would normanlly say select * from mytable just enter the code as * from mytable in the select area
The click ol/retrieve and enter in your connection info. Itshould bring data back into the load rule. Save the load rule and use it

some body inserting a record into table 'A' through some procedure/java program.i want to retrive the last inserted record from database table.records are not stored in order.Can any body help me.

In general, unless you are storing a timestamp as part of the row or you have some sort of auditing in place, Oracle has no idea what the "first" or "last" record in a table is. Nor does it track when a row was inserted.
- If you have the archived logs from the point in time when the row was inserted, you could use LogMiner to find the timestamp
- If the insert happened recently (i.e. within hours), you may be able to use flashback query to get the value
- If you're on 10g or later and the table was built with ROWDEPENDENCIES and the insert happened in the last few days and you can deal with a granularity of a few seconds and you don't need 100% accuracy, you could get the ORA_ROWSCN of the row and convert that to a timestamp.
If this is something you contemplate needing, you need to store the data in the row or set up some sort of auditing.

Insert the entire table at atime rather than a record so as to increase the performance.
you can use INSERT <dbtabname> CLIENT SPECIFIED FROM TABLE itab.
or
MODIFY ZPRODUCT FROM TABLE GI_AFPO.

Pl/Sql developer has a config window, there you choose the exec to do the import/export.
Find it and his home version, it may be exp or expdp, the home version is the version of the client where the exp executable is.
Then use the same version of imp or impdp to execute the import, you do not need to use Oracle SQL Developer 2.1.1.64. If you want to use it, you must have the same version in the oracle home that exp/imp of sql developer use.

One way is to first create a Value node (NewNode) with structure binding of that of the model node. Then iterate through the model node, create NewNode elements and set the value from model node elements into it.

Second way is to create that NewNode inside the model node and create a supply function.
