How to Install BAM Alerts in multi environment in 2013 R2? How to point to a single BAM Portal(Default WebSite) configured on BTS APP server1 from BTS App Server 2 and BTS App Server 3 ?
Please guide me on BAM install in multi environment for 2013 R2. Any blog which can show, how to configure multiple BTS servers to point to a single BAM portal created on the first server.
The BAM portal is configured on the Default Website on the first server.
How Could I Point to the same portal while configuring other 2 BTS servers?
What are the authentication mechanisms, I have to use at virtual directories and root level?

If the primary SQL Server becomes unavailable in the data center, it should fail over to the secondary SQL Server automatically. Is that not working?
You also might want to run this configuration by some SQL experts. I am not a SQL expert, but if you have both hosts in the data center in a cluster, there is no need for replication between those two nodes as they would be accessing
the database from some form of shared storage. Then it looks like you are trying to implement Always On to the DR site. I'm not sure you can mix both types of failover in a single configuration.
FYI, it would make more sense to establish a file share witness in your DR site instead of placing a third node in the data center for Node Majority quorum.

Our basic recommendation is to have 20 tasks per MT Server. (An MT (Multi-Threaded) Server is equivalent to an operating system process.)
Consider the projected number of concurrent users for the application in the design phase of the implementation. Even though there may be a large number of potential users, a smaller number will be logged in at any given time. For purposes of the following discussion, assume that there are 100-200 concurrent users.
There are many variables to consider when tuning an Object Manager. This tuning should be reviewed with Siebel Expert Services as part of the Production Readiness review. Here are some variables to consider.
The number of concurrent users.
The length of time each user spends on the system during a session.
Session timeout.
Use of scripts.
Complexity of the application.
High usage times. (80% of users are online from 11:00 to 3:00)
The settings used for this Siebel Object Manager component are as follows:
Maximum Tasks = 300
Maximum MT Servers = 15
Minimum MT Servers = 5
Maximum Tasks represents the total number of concurrent users. Since the anticipated number of concurrent users is between 100-200 the setting has been set to allow for some extra breathing room. This is important to allow for sessions that do not log out properly and therefore hang around until the session timeout is reached. Session timeout can be set in the Webserver and is usually defaulted to 20 minutes.
Maximum MT Servers is the total number of processes that can be run for this component. It is also used to calculate how many tasks can be run on each process. The calculation is as follows:
Maximum Tasks / Maximum MT Servers = Number of tasks per MT Server
300 / 15 = 20
As mentioned before, our basic recommendation is that the ratio of Maximum Tasks to Maximum MT Servers be 20. An extensively configured or scripted application may require a lower ratio.
Minimum MT Servers is only used when the Siebel Server or the Component is started. This determines how many processes to startup for this component. The only benefit that this provides is that it reduces the initialization time of the process when a new MT Server is needed. In this example, 5 MT Servers were used because 100 users are anticipated. This way the system can handle 100 concurrent users before having to startup a new process. -
Calendar server and address book server login fails with outlook connector

I have installed Java Communication Suite 5 according to the doc http://blogs.sun.com/factotum/resource/comms5-install-linux.html.
When i deploy the connector i get the pop ups saying "Server:servername:3080
Error:service not available" also
"Server:servername:80/uwc"
Error:service not available"
asking to login to calendar server and address book server.Clicking "OK" allows install.
In outlook i can send and receive mails but not the meeting requests.It gives the error "login to calendar server" when i create a meeting request.
Please let me know what i have to do to get rid of the error.The username and passwd entered is correct.

I would check through the outlook connector deployment configuration to verify that you have inserted valid information into all of the host & port fields - perhaps check the .ini file that is created to see if it has "Server" and "servername" listed.

I know that iCloud backs-up apps and other stuff to your phone incase you want restore from a back-up if you start a New iPhone. My question is if I start a new iPhone (not use the restore from back-up option) and redownload apps like (Games, Instagram), would my pics show up on Instagram and would my Games show it was saved and the acccomplisments will remain from the last place I left out.

Icloud or itunes backup, only backs up app data, not the app itself.
so if you restore as new, then there is no app data on your phone, you start out new... -
what can i do if i accidentally deleted my iPhoto from my macbook air and the App Store couldn't recognize that i have bought it before and required me to buy it again ... should i buy it again or what ? i can't manage my photos now ...
Log into the app store using the Apple ID you used to set your computer up. Look under purchases. If it is not there you may need to accept it or to unhide it

Does anybody know of a well known or reliable software that can do data replication between Oracle Server and Microsoft SQL server.
I suppose I can write my own version using Heterogenous Services in Oracle but I would like to know if such an automated replication between Oracle and SQL is available commercially.
