How to install stand-alone XMLP

We use PeopleSoft enterprise and would like to try out XMLP. While we were able to download XMPL from eDelivery, we did not find any installation instructions anywhere. The download had a client version and server version and we'd like to know the installation process.
If anybody has information regarding this, please share. Thanks!!

You can download the Standalone version of XMLP from the following location:

Product Pack Oracle Application Server Products
Platform: Any (e.g. Window 32 Bit)
Oracle XML Publisher Media Pack
Unzip the file, and you can find the following with the patch:
a) XMLP 5.5 Desktop
b) XMLP Server
Open the XML_Server folder and use the ReadMe file to install the Standalone version of XMLP Server. Please note there that for this purpose, one needs to have the following on the pc:
1.JDK 1.4 or later
2. Apache Tomcat 5.0 or more (Can be obtained from the following location:
http://tomcat.apache.org/download-55.cgi#5.5.15)
3. Use the following link to set-up the Apache Tomcat server:

I am using LabVIEW 8.2 to develop a stand alone executable for a target system. The target system already has a stand alone executable written by another vendor, using LabVIEW 7.1. I installed the LV RunTime Engine for 8.2 which left the 7.1 engine intact (as it should). The problem I am now having is that the drivers installed on the target system are incompatible with the NI-DMM vi's that I am using. My concern is that if I replace the old drivers with the ones I am using on my development platform I may end up breaking the old software. What would be an appropriate work around to ensure that the target system will be able to run both executables? (FWIW the system will NOT be running both executables concurrently.)
The target system is an embedded PXI card cage, running Windows XP, with a NI PXI-4070 DMM (among other instruments, however I have had not had this issue with the NI-DAQmx drivers).

Thanks for sharing your issue with the community. I am struggling to see what you mean by "break the software." If you only have the two executables and LV Run-Time versions 8.2 & 7.1, then you just need to go to http://www.ni.com/support/ » Drivers and Updates » Search within Results: » enter "NI-DMM" » GO to get the DMM driver you need. To see the driver you were using on the development machine, just go to Measurement & Automation Explorer (MAX). The DMM driver should also automatically install DAQmx, NI-VISA, and NI-IVI, fyi.

I want to use the stand alone java program in jsp page. I compiled the java program and place the class file in classes folder under web-inf. But when i try to instantiate the java class inside jsp it is not recognizing the class. Where might be the problem

R3trans finished (0012) after install stand alone gateway

I'm hoping someone can help me with my issue.
I just installed a stand alone gateway on our nwdi server. The purpose for the gateway is because of RZ70.
We are running on AIX/db2. When I installed the same steps on our SAN environment, I did not encounter this error.
Looks as if the gateway service is running but when I do an R2trans -d, I get an error.

Can't download new install stand-alone Lightroom 5

Hi all.
I am trying to install LR 5 on a new computer. New purchase, downloaded, stand-alone product.
Running Mac OS Mavericks. When I click the download button, nothing happens. I have tried a 'download link as...' but this just gives me the webpage to click the download button again. I have no error messages. Internet connection is fine, and I was able to subsequently download Adobe Flash with no problems.
I have tried Safari, Firefox and Chrome, all with pop-up blockers off. I am really stuck now and don't know what to try next. Any ideas??

Installing Stand-Alone Update downloaded and burned to CD

I have an eMac and I am running 10.3.5. Since I have a dialup connection, updating to 10.3.9 could not be done since the download time was estimated at NINE HOURS!
So, using another Mac at the school, I downloaded the stnad alone combo update and burned it to a CD.
Before I muck anything up, when I go to install the update on my eMac, do I drag the installer from the CD to the desktop and then install? Or do I install directly from the disk?
And, will this work?

I am not sure what you mean by "disk image." I already have the 10.3.9 combo installer loaded on a CD which I burned on the computer where I downloaded the combo update.
Are you saying I should save the installer--what I assume is the "disk image," which I would have dragged from the CD to the desktop, to say, a flash drive or the hard drive?

How to use stand alone restore file, iPod4,1_5.0_9A334_Restore. No *.ipsw file in folders.

One of our Ipod Touch 4g presented with an "unable to sync" error a few days ago. I worked around it by deleting the songs, adding them to a playlist in the library, then re-syncing. That worked for a few days. Then even that wouldn't work. It wanted to update to ios5 so I began that process. After erasing everything, the update failed (multiple times, several different errors, usually 1602 and 1604). I've tried multiple cables, two different computers, creating a new user profile, new clear itunes library, all USB ports). I've downloaded the update software inside of itunes at least three times. I've downloaded it outside of itunes which is the folder "iPod4,1_5.0_9A334_Restore" however it doesn't seem to have the required file that ends with *.ipsw. The particular ipod in question was jailbroken at one time, however it had been reverted to Apple with the last OS on it was of the 4 variety (4.3.2 maybe). Also note that I have two other ipod touch, one of which is updated to ios 5.0.1, and they work with both of my computers, regardless of which USB port I use, or cable, so I'm confident its not a problem with my computer hardware. I've also tried the update with the touch in DFU mode and still no success. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks!

Basically you are asking as how to port silverlight to Xaml (RT). Go one by one converting each API from silverlight to XAML, like IsolatedStorage isn't there in RT, so look for its alternative etc.

Error 1935 while trying to use installer to install stand alone app with VISA

I am trying to create my first installer for LV 8 and it is pretty different from LV 7. I am creating an installer to bundle my Vi and the Run time engine in one package. In my program I use VISA read/write so I also selected NI-VISA Config. Support version 3.4.1. When I try to install the application on a computer that does not have LV or the runtime engine I get error 1935 saying that it cannot install the VISA config. Then when I try to run my program LV doesn't try to take over the COM port because VISA is not installed. Any one have any ideas? Thanks

Before another problem occurred, I had iTunes installed and running. Afterward I had to re-install some other programs and iTunes and Quicktime, too. However, when I tried to reinstall iTunes and Quicktime (several different times, too), I had the installation to stop and this message appeared - ["Installation failed. Reinstall iTunes again. Error Code: -3"]
However, an icon for iTunes and Quicktime had been placed on the desktop but when they were clicked, this message appeared:["Failed to initialize Error Code: #634443]
I have tried both to update and to install stand alone programs. Also, I tried removing each only to have the message that they could not be removed because some files were missing.
Can you help me get iTunes and Quicktime installed and running? Thanks.

i'm following up on some weird (and rare) possibilities with the messages you're receiving.
did the original problem (that caused the reinstallation of itunes and the other program) involve or result in any major changes to the Registry on your PC?
do you have more than one user account on that PC? if so, go into the other user accounts and try to launch itunes and QT. (don't try any installs at the moment.)
do you find that there's one account in which you can get itunes/QT to launch, but in the others you can't?

How best to INSTALL my downloaded purchase of Lightroom 5 stand-alone ver. (NON-CreativeCloud) on my Macbook Pro OSX 10.9.5 ?

So, I’ve just downloaded my purchase of Lightroom Photoshop 5. I bought it via Adobe.com and it’s the full desktop version, stand-alone software version.
Important FYI: Please note that I bought the non-CC Lr program to download.
Question: How do I properly INSTALL it after downloading it onto my Macbook Pro using OSX (latest Mavericks ver. 10.9.5) ??
I can only find installation instructions for Lr CC and mobile but not for the full, non-CC licensed desktop version which is what I have!
Perhaps the above is the same step-by-step install process as my said Lr 5 but for whatever reason Adobe doesn’t say so anywhere that I’ve been able to find.

Cannot install Applcations in Stand-Alone Media image

Since updating from SCCM 2012 R2 to CU3 i have not been able to get our Stand-Alone media to work.
The Task Sequence is running fine until it gets to the install of the SCCM client. The installation of the client runs and then it restarts and then it runs it again, but when the task is done it goes to the login screen of Windows and ignores all the steps
which comes after the client install.
I have put in some alerts in order to find out exactly where is fails and the alert which runs prior to the client install is shown but the alert immediately after the install is never run.
I am beginning to supect that the client install is failling.
I have updated the package on the DP wihthout success.

Could you try adding a delay in the task sequence after the reboot, I have experienced a number of problems with SCCM 2012 R2 and reboots in task sequences. Microsoft Premier Support recommend creating a 5 minute delay. A shorter one may resolve the problem,
I would recommend trying this first.
The other thing to check is how are you preparing you boot media are you using a usb, if so is it formatted to NTFS or FAT32, I would always recommedn NTFS

Install "use typical installation options for a stand-alone primary site" All SQL Prerequisites Failed. Checks SQL before SQL is even installed?

So I select the install option to "Use typical installation options for a stand-alone primary site" which says it includes installation of SQL 2012 SP1 on the local server.
But then during the prerequisite checks it fails every SQL check.
Is it just me or a giant catch 22? Am I missing something here? How is this over looked if it is what it looks like? Why even have this simple install option if it can't work?

Take a look at my R2 install guide. This is for a stand alone primary. As Torsten states you pretty much need SQL installed and configured correctly prior to running the ConfigMgr install - along with a few other pre-reqs.
