Now I can use MouseListener on the layeredpane.

How to limited mouse event in JPanel?

I have a Jpanel with implements mouseListenert(mouseExited), how to limited the mouse event?
this how to work:
1. when my mouse exit ( move out) the jpanel, jpanel will disapprear and it's work
2. in jpanel i add Jtextfield ( jpanel.add(Jtextfield) ). This is the problem, when my mouse over the jtextfield ( where jtextfield is in the jpanel ) my jpanel disapprear. It mean that when my mouse over jtextfield, my mouse exit from jpanel too.
So how to limited mouse listener or what must i do?

i don't know how to do that can you modify this sample code, that the child component do nothing when my mouse over it

Then the application must be listening for crtl+shift+left click in any part of the desktop or an opened application, when that happens, I have to show a window asking if the user want to take a screenshot starting in the x,y point he clicked, once done, I have to take an screenshot...so on.

Media not copying into event when drag and dropped

When I add media files into an event by dragging and dropping the file into the project the file does not get moved/copied 'Macintosh's HD Projects' folder.
Is there a setting somewhere I can change so dragging and dropping behaves the same way as when I use CMD+I to import a file?
I am using the most up-to-date version of FCPX in Mavericks.

How are you determining this? And what version are you using? Media doesn't get copied to project folders; it get copied to Original Media sub folders in event folders. Or it gets left in its original location with aliases pointing to the actual media.
If you're using 10.1, try dragging to the single-star event icon in the Library list pane and then look inside Original Media..

How to adjust mouse event with scaled DesktopPane

I am manjunatha, i am developing Data warehouse product, in this, i am showing inter-related Transforms in desktop pane, i given option to view the content of desktop pane with different scaled factor (ex 100%,50%,25%), when i will scale the content of desktop pane using Graphics class, only content will be scaled, but the events on the Internal frames will be referring 100% view only,(ie mouse event will not effected by scaled factor, so it will be point to 100% view points only, ex at first an Internal Frame will have bounds(10,10,200,200), after i will scale this to 10%, it will be drawn with (1,1,20,20) on the desktop pane, but internally its bounds will be (10,10,200,200) and mouse event will detect Internal Frame at (10,10,200,200) location , instead of scaled (1,1,20,20) location.
My question is how can i scale the Internal Frames and adjust relevant events to it?

How to get mouse events inside the components of a JTable

I have question, I think this is related to very basics of swing, however I couldn't find a solution/answer on the web.
I have a JMyTable(a descendant of JTable), and one value on a row/column is a special class, ie. MyClass. for this class I registered a cell renderer, MyRenderer. and this renderer returns a JMyComponent, which is actually a descendant of JComponent.
Now, if I call enableEvents(AWTEvent.MOUSE_EVENT_MASK) in the constructor of JMyTable I get events posted on processMouseEvent method. However, the same doesn't work for JMyComponent. I mean, I call enableEvents, however processMouseEvent method is not triggered.
Could someone explain/help me with this issue?

Your cell renderer components are just that: renderers. They're not added to the table and do not appear in the component hierarchy. This is because tables may be very large and adding components in would be very resource hungry.

If you want to detect events you will need to listen to events on the JTable itself, and use the rowAtPoint()/columnAtPoint() methods to determine the cell. So for instance where you might want mouseEntered() on your cell component you would have to use mouseMoved() on the table and detect when the cursor moves to a new cell.

I want to know is there any good way to handle ValueChangeEvents events, when the page's bean in request scope.
My problem is, I have a page having more than 1 value change event so How can I maintain page values at backing bean. My bean is request scope, I can't change to session scope.

But as i Change the bean scope to Request scope then Save button is not working for Edit but it is working for Delete Action very well..
I want that save button should work also for Edit action in Request Scope..

How to trigger a event when WBS gets changed in Cj02

Hello,
I have a requirement where I need to send create an idoc and send the idoc to external system when WBS is created or changed. Currently, I have the following setup:
   - I have created a YBUS2054 as a subtype of BUS2054 using SWO1
   - YBUS2054 has been delegated to BUS2054
   - created an CHANGED event in the YBUS2054. This event is implemented and then released
   - created a type linkage (object type=YBUS2054, event=CHANGED, receiver type null, and receiver function module = zz_create_wbs_idoc) using SWETYPV. This function is supposed to create an idoc when CHANGED event occurs. I just don't know how to trigger the event to occur.
   - all the port, define idoc type, logical system, and etc are setup
   - when I try to create an entry in "Event for Chagne Document" using SWEC with change doc object=PROJ, business object type = YBUS2054, with on change, I get "Key for change doc object PROJ and business object type YBUS2054 are incompatible".
I tried various configurations, and I was not successfully in creating an event on CHANGED
can you please advise what I am missing in getting the changed event to trigger?

Hi,
If the change doc doesnt exist, check if you can create an event using BSVW.
Also use the event log to see if there are other sap standard events happening.
I checked the package belonging to CJ02 to see if there is something useable, but didn't find anything: CN_PSP_OPR
If there are no sap standard ways to get an event, you'll have to find a badi/enhancement spot and include some coding to start the event using fm SAP_WAPI_CREATE_EVENT.

Why does JFrame care about any buttons that you've placed in a JInternalFrame? What might be the case, is a custom class you've written that extends and/or contains a JFrame cares about such buttons so that it can update a display or do some processing or whatever. In which case you have your custom class implement ActionListener and register it with the button for ActionEvents via an addActionListener call. Then in your actionPerformed method is can tell the JFrame to redisplay, etc.

You are changing the z position of the Main Timeline object... I think you want the button to change z pos, not the whole timeline. If you just change the z of the button the hit area will work as expected. So, the code above would be:
btnPrev.x = 0;
btnPrev.y = 0;
btnPrev.z = 10;
btnPrev.addEventListener(MouseEvent.CLICK, onPrevClickH);
