How to load an applet using custom classloader ?

Hi All,
How to load an applet using custom classloader rather than using default browsers classloader i.e AppletClassLoader usually ?
Regards,
Kumar.

I would guess that that would require two applets.
The first does nothing but create the custom class loader and then load the second applet.

  • How to load an applet in card?

    Hi everyone,
    I use NetBeans and its JavaCard Simulator, protocol T = 0, and I am wandering how to load an applet using APDU tool instead of clicking on Run Projetc which do the mentioned thing. It would be helpfull if someone post ouptut and explain all used apdu commands.
    Thanks,

  • How to load an Applet application for 1000cards?

    Hi Friends..
    I want to know How to load an Applet application for 1000cards?..
    Assume that, i have an Applet application that need to loaded into 1000cards..
    So, how to solve this?
    Do i must to load an application manually for each card?
    Is there any another way?
    Thanks in advance..

    for 1000 cards you can use a "small" printer like an evolis "dualis" or something like that
    we've produced thousands of cards with this method in my company.
    the pro is that you can also print the cards in the same time.
    they usually have simple APIS like get_new_card_from_loader(), put_card_on_contacts(), eject_card()
    you can connect any reader on the printer , the raw card contacts are available on a connector.
    some printers also have contactless couplers.
    but remember that deploying cards in the field is not just loading an applet.
    it's also a cryptographic challenge, you need to change the card keys or anyone will be able to play with your cards, adding and removing applets as they want.
    typically this is achieved by using an ultra secret mother key and whatever derivation algorithm you like using data from INIT UPDATE as diversifier. example, you can TDES cipher part of the INIT UPDATE data using the mother key as TDES key, or use something involving SHA1, using a HSM if you are serious, etc.
    for your entertainment here is a high volume card personnalization machine. That's amazing.

    Hi jackkistens,
    Try the below js code.
    Note: you can change your preset name in below (e.g, Your preset name).
    var myBook = app.activeBook;
    myBook.exportFile(ExportFormat.PDF_TYPE, File (myBook.filePath+"/"+myBook.name.replace(/\.indb/g, ".pdf")), false, "Your preset name", myBook.bookContents, "Book_PDF", false);

  • Who's Who: How to refine employee search using customer defined indicator?

    Hello,
    It is possible to refine employee search using status indicator STAT2 (Employees' Employment Status). I would like to refine employee search using e.g. Customer defined status indicator STAT1. I created an entry identical to STAT2 but with STAT1
    in view V_T77S0 but it did not help at all.
    How to refine employee search using customer defined indicator or any other info
    from infotype 0000 or 0001?
    Kind regards,
    Pawel

    Hi
    This could be done using the infosets provided in who's who customization screen.
    Pl go through following help.
    If this helps, pl do reward.
    Who's Who (ESS): Selection and Output
    In this activity, you can change the fields for selecting and outputting data for the Who's Who service. The fields of the underlying InfoSet Query are available. Note, however, that text fields cannot be used for data selection (with the exception of the fields Organizational Unit, Position Name, and Job Name).
    You have the following options:
    You can specify the fields for selecting an employee.
    You can specify the fields for the hitlist, that is, the list of all employees who meet the selection criteria.
    You can specify the fields for the detail screen for a selected employee.
    All selected fields are automatically transferred to the service in the sequence you chose and are then available for selection or output.
    Standard settings
    The standard system contains an InfoSet for the service. It contains default selection and output fields.
    Activities
    1. Check whether the default settings fulfill your requirements.
    2. If you want to change the default values, proceed as follows:
    a) Choose the relevant tab page and remove the indicator in the Use default settings for group box.
    To change the selection fields, choose the Selection Fields tab page.
    To change the fields of the hitlist, choose the Output Fields List tab page.
    To change the fields of the detail screen, choose the Output Fields Detail tab page.
    b) If you want to delete a default field, select the field in the relevant tab page and choose Delete Line from Display Table.
    c) If you want to add an additional field from the InfoSet, select the field in the Fields in InfoSet group box and choose Copy Entry from InfoSet Table. You have two options:
    You select an existing field in the tab page and choose Insert Entry in Display Table. The system copies the InfoSet field and inserts it above the selected entry.
    You select the blank field at the end of the tab page and choose Insert Entry in Display Table. The system copies the InfoSet field and inserts it at the end of the tab page.
    Note that the sequence of the fields in the tab page determines the sequence of the fields in the service.
    The selection screen fields are laid out according to the following pattern (maximum of 4 rows and 20 fields):
    1 I 2 I 3 I13 I17
    4 I 5 I 6 I14 I18
    7 I 8 I 9 I15 I19
    10 I11 I12 I16 I20
    The fields in the detail screen are laid out underneath each other for a maximum of 20 rows, while the fields in the hitlist are laid out from left to right for each row, for a maximum of 20 fields.
    Note: You cannot select by the Employment Status field (P0000-STAT2).
    d) If you want to add a new field that is not in the InfoSet, you have to create a new InfoSet. You then assign the required field to the new InfoSet. Then select the new InfoSet in the InfoSet field in the Parameters group box. Proceed as described above to add the field to the relevant tab page.
    For information about creating InfoSets, see Specify InfoSets for Interactive Employee Selection in the IMG for the HR Information System.
    Not the SAP naming convention for the standard InfoSet: /SAPQUERY/HR_XX_PA_ESS
    The country code "XX" stands for "international." The InfoSet itself is in the global area (cross-client). You can create customer-specific InfoSets by copying an existing entry. Take account of your  customer namespace and set the relevant country code.
    Note: The Personnel Number field (P0000-PERNR) must not be added to the InfoSet. If you want to use the personnel number, use the P0001-PERNR field, for example.
    e) In the Sort field of the Output Fields List tab page, you can specify the sort sequence in the hitlist.
    Example: You have selected the Last Name and First Name fields for the hitlist. You want the hits to be sorted first of all by the employees' last name, then by the first name. You therefore enter 1 for the last name and 2 for the first name in the Sort field.
    f) Once you have completed your modifications, choose Check Display Table. If the check was successful, choose Save to save your changes. If inconsistencies were found during the check, a message in the relevant line notifies you of them.
    Further notes
    In certain circumstances, runtime issues may occur, especially in data selection. If they do, set the Selection Fields indicator in the Use Default Settings for group box. This deactivates the use of the InfoSet Query; instead, the system uses the BAPI_EMPLOYEE_GETDATA method.
    You can switch the hitlist and the detail screen to the BAPI_EMPLOYEE_GETDATA method by setting the Output Fields List and Output Fields Detail indicators.
    Note that by setting an indicator, you restrict the field selection in the relevant tab page to the interface of the method.
    If, in the initial screen, you enter a country for which values have not yet been defined, the system automatically creates an entry that sets all indicators in the Use default settings for group box. You can then edit the entry to suit your requirements.
    You can specify whether you want employees' photos to be displayed in the service in the IMG for Employee Self-Service under Determine User Options.
    If this helps, pl do reward.

    I don't have any experience with GTO's cards, but one would expect they provide a user guide or a data sheet how to load applications.. Reasons could be:
    1. Issuer policy to have a certain security level for content management --> raise the security level to C_MAC + ENC
    2. Issuer policy this card is static --> no post-issuance

  • Complie time using custom classloader for decryption.

    I need to decrypt several class during compile time, but my custom classloader could load everything except my encrypted classes.
    Here is my sample code and how I test it.
    Test.java:
    public class Test {
         public Test(){
              System.out.println("test");
         public void hello(){
              System.out.println("hello");
    Test1.java
    public class Test1 extends java.lang.Test{
         public Test1(){
              System.out.println("test1");
         public static void main(String[] args){
              new Test1().hello();
    #EncryptedClassLoader will print out the class name it trying to load, for example: "load class: java.lang.System"
    1. Compile Test.java file and have it encrypted, make it into a jar file - test.jar.
    2. Compile Test1.java file and try to run Test1.class with encrypted Test.class file using :
    C:\lib>java -Djava.system.class.loader=EncryptedClassLoader -classpath c:\lib;c:\lib\tools.jar;c:\lib\test.jar Test1
    Gives the output:
    load class: java.lang.System
    load class: java.nio.charset.Charset
    load class: java.lang.String
    load class: Test1
    load class: Test
    load class: sun.security.provider.Sun
    load class: sun.security.rsa.SunRsaSign
    load class: com.sun.net.ssl.internal.ssl.Provider
    load class: com.sun.crypto.provider.SunJCE
    load class: java.lang.Object
    load class: java.io.PrintStream
    test
    test1
    hello
    So now I'm sure there's no problem with my EncryptedClassLoader
    3. Try to compile Test1.java with the encrypted Test.class in test.jar(These's no Test.java file in the same folder) by using:
    C:\lib>javac -J-Djava.system.class.loader=EncryptedClassLoader -J-classpath -J.;c:\lib;c:\lib\tools.jar;c:\lib\test.jar Test1.java
    Give the output:
    .............. (loading several system classes)
    load class: com.sun.tools.javac.util.Position
    Test1.java:4: cannot find symbol
    symbol: class Test
    public class Test1 extends Test{

    load class: java.lang.Long

    load class: com.sun.tools.javac.code.Types$SubstFcn
    load class: com.sun.tools.javac.code.BoundKind
    load class: java.lang.StringBuffer
    Test1.java:12: cannot find symbol
    symbol : method hello()
    location: class Test1
    new Test1().hello();
    ^
    2 errors
    ---> from the output I found that Test.class never visited/loaded by my EncryptedClassLoader
    Though I set EncryptedClassLoader as the default system classloader but it seems to load everything except my encrypted class.
    Does anyone know why it works like this??
    Thank you in advanced,
    Alex.
    null

    I don't know why he was specifying the javac classpath like that instead of using javac's -classpath option.
    But this whole business of decrypting class loades is pretty much a waste of time. It adds a layer of comfort but it's not really what I would call secure. At some point the unencrypted bytes have to appear in memory and from that point the classes are no longer secure.
    The best protection against software piracy is not anti-decompilation techniques but time-to-market and pricing your product so that buying it is cheaper than reverse-engineering it.

  • How to load R/3 Plant, Customer, Vendor, all linked in T001W

    Hi,
    In R/3 we have a Plant PL01. In the initial load of object DNL_PLANT this creates CRM BP #101 with role BBP003.
    In R/3 we have a Customer CPL01 (linked to Plant PL01 in R/3 customizing table T001W). In the initial load of object BUPA_MAIN this creates CRM BP #102 CRM000.
    In R/3 we have a Vendor VPL01 (linked to Plant PL01 in R/3 customizing table T001W). In the initial load of object VENDOR_MAIN this creates CRM BP #103 with role BBP000.
    Question 1: How can we create the R/3 Plant PL01 in CRM as BP #PL01 (i.e. using an external number range)?
    Question 2: How can we create the Plant, Customer & Vendor as a single CRM BP #?
    Points will be rewarded.
    Thanks,
    J

    Jim,
    The problem you face is that CRM is going to download those as three separate partners.
    Note 865321 gives a solution on how to load plants into CRM in an external range that you would specify.  This is however for DNL_PLANT.
    Your next issue is unless your plant as customer and your plant as a vendor are in separate account groups for each, you won't be able to map these into a single business partner in CRM, unless you do some manipulation.
    I guess what you could do on an initial load for those objects is the following:
    1.  If the customer or vendor is a plant:
    - Remanipulate the BDOC so that it becomes the single "plant business partner", on the ERP side.
    2.  For delta's you will need to also do this remanipulation.
    3.  If you plan on sending delta changes from CRM back to R/3 then on the CRM side you will need to decide how to distribute the changes from the single business partner back to the customer and vendor partners.
    This is definitely possible, but it is going to take some effort and you will need a very seasoned middleware developer to make it happen.  I am guessing a couple of weeks for a experienced middleware guru to complete this.
    Good luck,
    Stephen

  • How to load an applet jar file?

    Hello everyone,
    I have an applet that uses my own jar file and approximately 6 third party jar files. I set up jar indexing (jar -i) which will download the jar files when they are needed. All seems to work well, but now I want to manually load the jar files which I cannot get working.
    When the applet starts, about 1/2 of the jar files are downloaded (because they are needed at startup). I then want to load the additional jar files in the background, after the gui is initialized. I have tried this using the below thread which is executed from within the applet's start method:
    // Try to load additional jar files in background by loading a class from each jar file.
    Thread loadClass = new Thread() {
      public void run() {
        System.out.println("Loading classes...");
        try {
          // Tried loading classes this way, doesn't work.
          getClass().getClassLoader().loadClass("pkg1.Class1");
          getClass().getClassLoader().loadClass("pkg2.Class2");
          getClass().getClassLoader().loadClass("pkg3.Class4");
          getClass().getClassLoader().loadClass("pkg4.Class4");
          /* Loading classes this way doesn't work either.
          Class.forName("pkg1.Class1");
          Class.forName("pkg2.Class2");
          Class.forName("pkg3.Class3");
          Class.forName("pkg4.Class4");
        catch(ClassNotFoundException e) {
          // First attempt to load a class (pkg1.Class1) throws exception.
          System.out.println("Can't find class: " + e.getMessage());
    loadClass.start();As you can see from above I am trying to load a class from each of the jar files so that the jar files would load into memory/cache. Unfortunately, it cannot find the classes. These are the errors from the java console:
    Loading classes...

    So it appears the jar file is not being downloaded. When I take away the dynamic jar loading (removing the "jar -i" & adding them all to the applet archive list) the thread executes correctly. So I know the class names, etc, are correct. How does one load an applet jar file?
    Any help/suggestions are appreciated.

    The above error I posted was because I forgot to index the jar files. That is why it couldn't find the jar file. I thought I was getting farther along with my problem, but I apparently just forgot to index the jars. I am now getting the problem that I got yesterday...
    The applet freezes/hangs when it hits the thread. The GUI never opens (even though I'm running this thread right after the gui shows). The java console quits responding and the applet just stays the grey screen. I also tried the invoke later that you suggested.
    public void start() {
      // ...initialize gui...
      // Applet freezes and remains grey, also the java console freezes.
      javax.swing.SwingUtilities.invokeLater(new Runnable() {
        public void run() {
          System.out.println("Loading classes...");
          try {
            // When I comment out the below forName calls, the thread will still run evidenced through the done print statement.
            Class.forName("pkg1.Class1");
         Class.forName("pkg2.Class2");
         Class.forName("pkg3.Class3");
         Class.forName("pkg4.Class4");
            System.out.println("...Done loading classes");
          catch(Exception e)     {
            System.out.println("Can't find class: " + e.getMessage());

  • How to load an applet with older version of JRE?

    Hi All,
    I'm writing an applet which should read the username from the user's system using System.getProperty("user.name") method. I've JRE 1.4.2 in my browser, and it's throwing a AccessControlException whenever the applet is trying to read the "user.name" system property. So, I want to load this particular applet with an older version of JRE, say JRE 1.3. I've tried various approaches like,
    <jsp:plugin type="applet" code="LoginApplet.class" archive="login.jar"
         jreversion="1.3"     iepluginurl="http://java.sun.com/products/plugin/1.3/jinstall-13-win32.cab#Version=1,3,0,0">
    </jsp:plugin>
    and also tried OBJECT tag,
    <OBJECT
    classid="clsid:CAFEEFAC-0013-0000-0000-ABCDEFFEDCBA" codebase="http://java.sun.com/products/plugin/1.3/jinstall-13-win32.cab#Version=1,3,0,0"
         width="200" height="200" align="baseline" >
    <PARAM NAME="code" VALUE="LoginApplet.class">
    <PARAM NAME="archive" VALUE="login.jar">
    <PARAM NAME="type" VALUE="application/x-java-applet;version=1.3">
    <PARAM NAME="scriptable" VALUE="true">
    No Java 2 SDK, Standard Edition v 1.3 support for APPLET!!
    </OBJECT>
    I've not tried the simple APPLET tag because we can't specify a java plugin using the APPLET tag.
    In both the above methods, I'm still getting AccessControlException. In Java console, I'm seeing Java Plugin as 1.4.2.
    Can someone tell me is it possible to read the "user.name" system property from user's machine using Applets? If yes, how?
    Thanks,
    Tarun.

    Applets are prevented from doing certain things - reading data is one - to maximize security. You can either add permissions to the computer that the applet is running on, or you can sign the applet.

  • Why won't -Djava.system.class.loader make it use my ClassLoader?

    I created a class MyAppLoader and installed it in the bootclasspath and used the system property -Djava.system.class.loader. Yet, the JVM won't use my classloader! It's never instantiated (I have a static bit that prints code if it's loaded at all).
    How do I make the JVM use my class as the system classloader?

  • Cannot load a Applet using Weblogic6.1

    I am unable to load an applet. My application/web server is weblogic6.1. The problem is i am unable to set the right codebase.
    any ideas..on how to set codebase when using weblogic 6.1.. my applet class files are in
    c:/bea/applications/myApp/WEB-INF/classes

    thanx for the mail..
    When this application was set as Default application, even though the applet class files were in /WEB-INF/classes, it worked.. but now this is no longer a default application and the applet throws classnotfound exception..
    i guess i am missing some other settings ...
    The applet needs to be publically accessible to the
    client. Nothing in WEB-INF is going to be publically
    accessible. You need to put the applet somewhere
    else, such as where you'd normally put the referencing
    HTML file.

  • How to load an Applet on a panel, within another Applet

    Hi,
    I want to know if and how it is possible to load an applet/application on a Panel within another Applet/Apllication.
    Who can help me?
    tnx

    You want to use an applet inside an other applet?
    Applet extends Panel
    you can take the source of the second applet, and instead of extending Applet extends Panel, and call the init method from the first applet.
    Hope this help

  • Using custom ClassLoader

    Is there a way to make my custom ClassLoader the default ClassLoader for my program?
    ie. Can I just set up my program to use my ClassLoader whenever it needs to access class files?
    Geoff.

    Hi,
    The main class is always loaded by the boot strap class loader(also called System ClassLoader). You can't change it. After that all the classes are loaded by the classloader of the loading class. i.e.
    If class A is loading class B, then class B's classloader will be the classloader of class A.
    So, basically you need to write a classloader, and a wrapper class for your main class like:
    public class WrapperClass
        public void main(String[] args) throws Exception
           MyClassLoader myClassLoader = new MyClassLoader();
           Class mainClass = myClassLoader.loadClass("MainClass");
           Method mainMethod = mainClass.getMethod("main", new Class[] {args.getClass()});
           mainMethod.invoke(null, args);
    }then rest of the classes including MainClass are loaded by the MyClassLoader. If you need help you writing ClassLoader please reply back.
    Hope this helps.

  • Problem in loading an applet using JRE 1.5

    Hi,
    I have an applet which is working fine under JRE 1.4, but the same applet failing to load by using JRE 1.5
    Problem Description:
    1. The images in the applet fails to load using JRE 1.5
    2. The Username and Password text box are also failing to initialize.
    Can anyone help me out in this.
    Is there any code changes required ?

    I wonder if you have the same problem as me... Maybe we can find a solution for us both, no need for me to open a new thread for this topic then...
    I wrote an applet using Swing and compiled it using JavaSDK 1.4.x. I also installed the 1.4.x JRE for both of my test browsers. In Mozilla 1.1 the applet displays properly all the time. In IE6 SP1 it sometimes works as intended but sometimes the applet simply stops working, as per my Java Console somewhere after invoking the "start" method. Parts of the applet simply become gray and when I resize it - I have a JFrame in my applet - the whole JFrame becomes gray and does not respond to input nor it redraws itself. Shutting down IE does not close the JFrame(although the java console reports normal program termination and cleanup) and the only way to close it is through the task manager. I am using Windows 98SE btw.
    Does it sound similiar to your problem? It happens ONLY with IE, not with Mozilla. Anybody has an idea on what it could be? I doubt there's an error in my code...
