Is someone having experience with loading data from a regular table into an XML schema ?
What are exactly the steps to undertake ? The DI user manual does not provide that much information...

Hi Kris,
In the Designer.pdf there is a chapter called 'nested data' with more information, but you can also check this website with some detailed instructions and examples on how to build a nested relational data model (NRDM).

I want to perform XML Schema Validation using a XML-Schema stored in a File "MySchema.xsd" in the classpath.
Unfortunately I have no clue, how I can load this file without using an absolute path. I already tried:
Thread.currentThead().getContextClassLoader().getRessourceAsStream()but this method rejects to load Files with the extension XSD.It does however load the file, if I rename it to MySchema.xml or MySchema.properties, but then I cannot use the Visual Editors of JDeveloper to edit the File.
Has anyone an idea, how I can load a XSD-File stored in the classpath?

My Problem is, that I cannot load the Schema-File during runtime. I try to use code like this:

Problem when trying to load an XML document with DTD or XML SCHEMA

I have tried to load an XML document in Data Services, and I created the xsd file and Dtd file. (With altova xml spy software automatically) to import into SAP Data Services 3.2. .
In Data Services I created the dtd import file DTD and then called the XML file from the DTD (the xml file is validated vs the dtd file), and I could not read the xml correctly because it tells me that an ELEMENT called <item> expected joiners who did not come in the structure of import (dtd), but if the xml.
I understand that the document root is the label: CUSTOMER_FULL_2014, the data flow is as follows:CARGA_XML_CUSTOMER |
Turns out the joiners element is used to separate the xml elements are repeated, but is used at different levels. My idea is that the design will dtd second, or something I'm missing or is incorrectly stated.

I generated a new XSD file using MS Visual Studio based on your XML file.
The empty spaces in the source is replaced with <Null> in the target table.

combine the two xml files into one if you want to create one gallery.
if you want two different galleries that display at different times, remove the movieclip wall after you're done with gallery1 and execute myGalleryXML.load("gallery2.xml");

As Lokanath said, there are no DATE bind variables.
You can use a VARCHAR2 bind variable, and convert it to a DATE in your SQL statment.
If you're using SQL*Plus, consider a substitution variable. It won't be as efficient as a bind variable, but it will be as convenient.
For example:
DEFINE first_entrry_date = "DATE '2010-06-20''
SELECT   ...
WHERE   entry_date >= &first_entry_date

Getting a session in a servlet is no different than in any other environment except that you need to be careful which classloader you pass to the SessionManager and correctly configure what to do if your application is reloaded. If you use the oracle.toplink.util.SessionFactory introduced in 10.1.3.1 you don't have to worry about these details--it uses the correct settings. The SessionFactory greatly simplifies the code required to get a session or unit of work. It's well documented in the SessionFactory javadoc.
If you do use SessionFactory beware there is a bug when running in a JTA environment and there's no transaction started. Doug posted a work around in his blog[1].

Hi Sri,
You cannot transport Data via Transport route in HANA, you can only transport code changes/Structure via DU. For Data movement, you either have a do a export/import from a flat file or replication from a Source System to HANA.

If you are standing by, and activating the process by keyboard
you could be sure to include the open Date Time menu bar
image in a complete screenshot, using cmd shift 3. Or outline
the area you want if not full-screen, by using cmd shift 4.
The command button may also have an apple icon on it.
So that's the three key shortcuts for full & partial screen.
For a more automated method, perhaps try using software to
run an AppleScript, like Automator. Then write a script or find
one that you can modify to do tasks and test it.
There may be other methods, however identifying your intent
would be higher on the list at this time; to narrow the method.

A: Oracle 10g datapump’s Network_link option allows us to copy data between schemas without even creating an export dump file.
I have tried this option and it reduced my copy procedure timings from 2 hours ( with regular exp/imp) to 15 mins.
all you need to do is
1. create a DB link pointing to target schema.
2. run the impdb command
example:
impdp uname/pwd@dbname directory=<dir name> logfile=<logfile name> network_link=<dblink name> remap_schema=source_user:target_user parallel=2

If you have a few tables...quick and dirty way is to
create new_table as select * from old_schema.tableOtherwise depending on what version you are on and you have access, use exp/data pump.
Alot of good pages on using expdp but the general syntax is

How to load several transformation files with a single action

Hi everybody,
We are loading data from BI cube into BPC cube. We are working on SAP BPC 7.0 version and we have designed several transformation files in order to load each key figure we need.
Now, we want to load all the transformation files executing only one action. Which one is the best way to do it?
We thought that it would be possible to build a single process chain, where we would call the target cube and all the transformation files. In this way, the administrator only has to execute once a package that would execute the process chain. We don't want the administrator to execute several times a package looking for the different transformation files.
How can we do it? Is there any example or document related to it?
Any idea out there?
