How to load external resources such as JavaScript files, etc. ?

Hello,
I'd like to put my resources files such as my scripts, my stylesheets, in a jar file, included in my webapp.
How can I refer to these files in my JSP file ?
Should I make a filter ?
Can someone help me please ?

using loadjava I can load commons-net-ftp-2.0.jar and my jar. When i execute pl/sql wrapper for defined java stored procedure it results into exception.
retval=-29532;ORA-29532: Java call terminated by uncaught Java exception: java.lang.NullPointerException
Same code works as Java application. I also granted socket permissions

This did not resolve the error. Since i do not have control external java library and it works as standalone application....
do you know any workarounds? Any ideas on implementing FTP functionality in plsql on oracle 11g database?

Question:+ How do I tell oracle location of external_ JAR files? I also tried dropping external jar to jlib and jdk lib. No Luck!

How to load external photo gallery in swf file

hello!
i've been using flash catalyst beta to create a simple 100% flash portfolio site. you can view the test here: http://remgriff.110mb.com/
my problem is that i want to link a button from the portfolio page to an external swf file (or html, both are ok) and i cannot do that in flash catalyst (probably because it's in beta).
how can i achieve that? can it be done so the external swf opens in the portfolio page?
please help.

I believe you can embed the .swf file using flex code in flex builder. I just did a quick google search and came up with a few articles. I don't think there is a way to do this in Catalyst yet, but please correct me if I am wrong.
I am also building my portfolio in Catalyst as a little project and although there are some bugs I am really enjoying the Beta

How to load external data without using external tables

Hi,
I'm asked to develop an ETL for loading external data into a database but, unfortunately, the vers. is 8i so I can't use external tables.
I know that it's possible by using SQL-Loader. What I want to know is whether there's another way in 8i to load external data from a text file or a CSV file directly with a stored procedure without having to write CTL of SQL-Loader on the server. I mean, is there a way to write everything on the database the same manner I'd do whether I wrote data from a table to a file using for example UTL_FILE or the unique way is to write control files of SQL-Loader directly on the server?

Bad idea.
What information do you want to share, exactly? You can share contacts, reminders, and calendars with other iCloud users without the need for both of you to use the same iCloud account. You can authorize both phones to use apps purchased under the same Apple ID without sharing an iCloud account.
Sharing an iCloud account is a bad idea in general. There is too much opportunity for someone to damage or delete data that will affect both.

If you want to load InfoObjects in the form of hierarchies, you have to activate the indicator with hierarchies for each of the relevant InfoObjects in the InfoObject maintenance. If necessary, you need to specify whether the whole hierarchy or the hierarchy structure is to be time-dependent, whether the hierarchy can contain intervals, whether additional node attributes are allowed (only when loading using a PSA), and which characteristics are allowed.
1.Defining the source system from which you want to load data:
Choose Source System Tree ® Root (Source System) ® Context menu (Right Mouse Button) ® Create.
For a flat file, choose: File System, Manual Metadata; Data via File Interface.
2.Defining the InfoSource for which you want to load data:
Optional: Choose InfoSource Tree ®Root (InfoSources) ® Context Menu (Right Mouse Button) ® Create Application Component.
Choose InfoSource Tree ® Your Application Component ® Context Menu (Right Mouse Button) ® Create InfoSource ® Direct Update
Choose an InfoObject from the proposal list, and specify a name and a description.
3.Assigning the source system to the InfoSource

4.Maintaining the transfer structure / transfer rules
Choose the DataSource to be able to upload hierarchies.
Idoc transfer method: The system automatically generates a proposal for the DataSource and the transfer structure. This consists of an entry for the InfoObject, for which hierarchies are loaded. With this transfer method, during loading, the structure is converted to the structure of the PSA, which affects performance.
PSA transfer method: The transfer methods and the communication structure are also generated here.
5.Maintaining the hierarchy:
Choose Hierarchy Maintenance, and specify a technical name and a description of the hierarchy.
PSA Transfer Method: You have the option here to set the Remove Leaf Value and Node InfoObjects indicator. As a result, characteristic values are not transferred into the hierarchy fields NODENAME, LEAFFROM and LEAFTO as is normally the case, but in their own transfer structure fields. This option allows you to load characteristic values having a length greater than 32 characters.
Characteristic values with a length > 32 can be loaded into the PSA, but they cannot be updated in characteristics that have a length >32.
The node names for pure text nodes remain restricted to 32 characters in the hierarchy (0HIER_NODE characteristic).
The system automatically generates a table with the following hierarchy format (for sorted hierarchies without removed leaf values and node InfoObjects):

The system transfers the settings for the intervals and for time-dependency from the InfoObject maintenance. Depending on which settings you have defined in the InfoObject maintenance, further table fields can be generated from the system.
The valid from and valid to field is filled if you select Total Hierarchy Time-dependent in the InfoObject maintenance. The time-dependent indicator is activated if you select the Hierarchy Nodes Time-dependent option in the InfoObject maintenance.
6.Save your entries.
Depending on which settings you defined in the InfoObject maintenance, additional fields can be generated from the system. Also note the detailed description for Structure of a Flat Hierarchy File for Loading via an IDoc and for Structure of a Flat Hierarchy File for Loading via a PSA.

How to load images from BLOB to javascript?

hi, Guys:
I need to load thumbnail images from BLOB to multiple markers' infowindow in Google map . I have implemented Google map in APEX. I load the data suchas text for every marker's infowindow from Oracle database table with PL/JSON, and infowindow works fine. Could anyone give me a suggestion or example so I know how to load images to javascript?

How to cache external resource bundles?

I am using Build JDEVADF_11.1.1.4.0_GENERIC_101227.1736.5923 on Windows 7.
We have used external resource bundle for our ADF application using loadbundle which extends java.util.ListResourceBundle.
Is there any way to cache these external resource bundles? and If yes when/how it will get cached?
We have found following link:

Hi again.
To achieve your requeriment you can try next solutions:
- Add a external path where you are going to let your Resource Bundle in your Manage Server Classpath. For example: /language (into this folder put your baseName folder's and properties file).
- Build your custom Java Class to load Resource Bundle in a configured classpath or path.
- Try to do a similar solution like WebCenter Spaces copying your resource bundle in MDS path and updating/getting it with WSLT scripts.

How to Load the Resource Master for Generic Resources by Department?

We are using P6 enterprise version in our company having a central database.
Q1a.) We set the Activities view > Resource Usage Spreadsheet > Select View 1) By Resource OR 2) By Role.
The result is the spreadsheet presents the Remaining Early Units by Resource OR by Role. Other spreadsheets behave the same way. Is it possible to view the total Remaining Early Units and not have it separated by Resource OR Role?
Q1b.) We would like to find out the recommended structure to load Generic Resources (ie. professional and trades such as Civil Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Carpenter, Welder etc.) for each Department (ie. 8221, 9362, 8524 etc.) into the Resource Library. Example: we would like to load Civil Engineer once for departments 8221, 9362, 8524, load Welder once for departments 9362, 8524, etc.
We contacted Primavera Support and they pointed us to use Roles.

i think you could try to model it like this:
- define a single "mech eng" role in the role tree (not too deep or even a flat list). no dept's mentioned here. keep the role tree strictly "speciality" oriented or anyway according to their technical classification.

1 eng with a capacity of 8h/d, a fixed formation (team) regardless of the number of individuals would still have a capacity of 8h/d if they can only accomplish tasks together. if assigning a team of 5 means means faster for fixed workload or more for fixed duration then define a fixed team (again if this is the case) as a single resource with a capacity of 40h/d or simply define and assign the required number of individual eng's 8h/d max each. use activity duration type to switch between duration driving and non-driving resource usage.

- create the necessary res to role associations. one employee or team (i.e. res) can be linked to one primary qualification and several other proffesions or specialities (i.e. roles)
- when assigning to activities, if a particular individual/ team is required assign directly the res. select several activities requiring mech eng, select 1 or several mech eng's and assign them (use resource security to limit user's access to certain res nodes).
- if any res with a particular role can perform the task, assign the role. later on if you decide for a res, you can assign a particular resource through the previously assigned role. decide applicable rates and h/d between role and res.
- you can track allocation in spreadsheets and histograms by resource or role (or by activity for both). if individual res have clear capacities, for roles you can chose between custon role limits (manual) and system calculated for each role based on res having that as primary qualification (user pref)
- you can report by activity / WBS / project / portfolio (tracking)
- solve over-allocation by levelling, by switching between res for the same role, etc
- optimise duration vs. load and/or # of res/roles (and viceversa)

TestStand 3.x can only call static class C++ methods. TestStand cannot call methods on a C++ object because TestStand does not know how to enstantiate the C++ object. In TestStand 3.x, there is a online help topic called "Exporting Class Methods and Functions in Visual Studio .NET".

Flash doens't load external resources after refresh in Windows Firefox

Hi guys,
We're encountering a weird problem here. Implementing a Flash header that fades in&out through some external assets via XML... Works fine in all browsers on Windows & Mac, except, after refreshing the page in Firefox for Windows (XP, 7,...) it doesn't load the external resources anymore and we get a blank SWF. Monitored this in Firebug.
Flash Player has the latest version. We also have this problem on a local host.
It probably has something to do with caching, but the strange thing is that it only goes wrong in FF on a Windows machine. Also works fine again after a hard refresh.

UPDATE: Removing wmode: transparent from the Flash attributes seems to fix it.. Weird. Unfortunately this attribute is really necessary for the lay-out..

How to load external subtitles in mov files (in QT)?

Hi everybody,
When I play an avi file, QT is able to load external subtitles (I've Perian installed). However, this week, I downloaded a file from apple, saved it as a mov file and created a subtitle file for it. Then, I put both files in the same directory and used the same name for them (one .mov and the other .srt). When I play it (with QT), the subtitle file doesn't load. Does anybody know what is happening? Is is a problem with mov files? Or is it a problem with files downloaded from apple (some kind of lock?!)?
