  • How to locate the correct image file before reading/saving it

    Hi,
    I would like to find out how to copy/save/read image files from certain website in Java, particularly to locate the right one from various relative URL links on the same website. Below is an example to look at:
    On the main web page
    By selecting (http://www.abc.com/Public/Details.aspx?adid=2007103609) on a tiny camera icon that consist of source code (<td class="even"><a target="_blank" href="http://www.abc.com/Public/Details.aspx?adid=2007135110"><img src="/images/camera.gif" width="19" ...></a></td>) directed me to another page with the actual photo.
    The source code of this secondary page where the photo is located are as follows:

    Many thanks,

    Hi All,
    Could someone give me a hand with suggesting on how to locate the correct links (from multiple web pages) of the image file? I still could not proceed further on this issue.
    There is no problem with saving/reading the file once it is accurately identified.
    Please move it to the Java Technology & XML forum if it is not already in it.
    Many thanks,

    Look at the receipt from the Apple store (or wherever you bought it).
    Look at the box it came in.
    That's the limit of the options if you didn't record the serial number.

  • (!) How to locate the original file for missing songs?

    song could not be used because original file could not be found. Would you like to locate?
    I got this message when I last tried to synch my ipod.  The message said there were 100 files which could not be found.   Actually more than 100 songs show the exclamation mark that says the file can not be found.
    Previous posts on this issue suggest the underlying file has been changed or moved out from the ITunes organisation.  Well the last time I synched my ipod on Lion a few days ago it was fine.  On Sunday I wiped my hard drive, carried out the upgrade to Mountain Lion as a clean install, and used Migration Assistant to bring my user data over.  After that I ran cclean and disk utility permissions and disk verification.  Then this happened.
    I migrated my  iTunes Library to an external hard drive six months ago. That was disconnected during the upgrade so I am not sure why the files can’t be found now.    Anyway, I want to recover the missing files .  I could not find them by name, album or artist on the external drive.  So I thought I would find them in Time Machine backup #1.  I couldn’t!.  Nor could I find missing songs on my alternate Time Machine backup #2.  Both Time Machine backups are set to include the external drive.  Songs recognised in iTunes are visible in the backups, but not the ones that are missing.
    I have a third backup volume which was a clone of the Lion setup before I did the upgrade, but I can’t access this or Mac for a few days.
    I did have some permissions failures after the 10.7.4 upgrade which resulted in creating 2 new standard user accounts.  Maybe I’v e got some files across these users?  But in that case I’d have seen problems before the upgrade?   I notice a fair number of these are compilations imported from CD about 4 years ago.  Bu tnot all.
    (1).  Is there a smart way to list all the files that are missing?
    I can scroll through all of  ITunes Music to see where there are exclamation marks.  I’d like to only list these missing songs.
    (2).  How can I locate the missing media files?
    -  a search on Name / Album / Artist hasn’t found them in live drives or on TM backups.  I’ve still got the missing songs on my iPod, however.
    Once I can answer these questions with your help I’ll know what would be the best way to try to recover, and to work out what went wrong.  I’m shocked that I can’t find them in backup.   Eventually I can restore audio from original source.  If they were photos that went missing from library and backups then I would have no way to get back!
    (3) could this happen in iPhoto?  (shiver)

    Thanks for taking the time to look at my problem.  Shared is empty and I didn't back it up - I only transferred the standard and Admin users to the clean install of Mountain Lion.
    But I got some valuable insight into how the iTunes library is set up from your article on split Libraries. I'd like to see it in the Tips for iTunes for Mac.   My Itunes library was set up in pre-Itunes 8 structure, and as I'd moved it to an external drive it didn't get migrated to the new structure in recent upgrades, perhaps?
    I found your article extremely useful : https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-3991.  That gave me the means to restore the missing files more quickly than getting the original CDs out and re-importing them to iTunes.
    So I've now restored the missing files and started the backups rolling ....
    I still don't understand how they went missing.  However the best backup was the Ipod itself.

  • How to locate the first insertion point on every page?

    I need to paste some same anchored objects on every page for exporting RTF format.
    So I need to locate the first insertion point on every page.
    Then, I use the code below (make a simple example):
    for(i = 0; i < app.documents[0].pages.length; i ++){
         app.select(app.documents[0].pages[i].textFrames[0].insertionPoints[0])
         app.paste()
    But when a file has a very long table spread over several pages, the location operation will select the insertion point before the table --- the starting point of the table.
    For instance, a table start on page 3 and end on page 10
    app.documents[0].pages[4~10].textFrames[0].insertionPoints[0])  can't select the first insertion point from page 4 to page 10. (In terms of scripting, the insertion point exists before the very long table starting on page 3.)
    How can I solve the problem? Thanks in advance.

    I dont know exactly what you are trying to do but you can try this. If you have table which runs trough multiple pages, you can first divede this tabel, that cells on separate pages would represent stand alone table. Than you can fit textframe to this table. When addressing indention poin you will get right position.
    In your case when table start at 3rd and ends on 10th page you would get 8 tables in 8 textframes on its own page. If textframes are linked and table is smaller than textframe you will have problem when addressing first insertion point on 4th or any other page. That why you should fit textframe to table:
    var bl=app.activeDocument.pages[1].textFrames[0].insertionPoints[0].baseline
    var tf=app.activeDocument.pages[1].textFrames[0];
    var gb=[tf.geometricBounds[0],tf.geometricBounds[1],bl,tf.geometricBounds[3]];
    tf.geometricBounds=gb;
    Now when you set
    app.activeDocument.pages[1].textFrames[0].insertionPoints[0] you will get position before table or
    app.activeDocument.pages[1].textFrames[0].insertionPoints[-1] you will get position after table

  • How to locate the error of SQL-02110 in proc

    A proc code gave error: SQL-02110
    Inconsistent host cache. Invalid host cache entry type
    Cause:     This internal error typically indicates a memory-related error.
    Action:     Check the program for memory-related errors, such as invalid pointers or array-bounds violations.
    Which kinds of reason for that? How can I locate the wrong point? Thanks a lot.

    Is your question related to Re: SQL-02110: Inconsistent host cache. Invalid host cache entry type ?
    Anyway:
    It would be nice to know your database version and an example of the pl/sql that's giving you the error.
    See: {message:id=9360002}
    Also, did you or your DBA check the alert.log and/or traces in the udump/bdump directories?
    You should find more details/pointers over there.

  • How to locate the (physical) z index of encoder

    Hello,
    I am trying to locate the Z-Index of a rotary encoder. I need the counter to reset to 0 everytime the encoder's shaft reaches that same point.
    My problem is that when I run the VI, the angular position starts at 0 no matter where the shaft is located, and this point is used to reset the counter to 0 once a 360 degree revolution occurs. Hence, everytime I run the VI, the current shaft position is used as the Z-Index.
    Is it possible to locate the actual physical Z-Index of the encoder which is at a specific location of the shaft, so that everytime the shaft reaches that point the counter is reset to 0 and this specific point becomes the Z-Index everytime I run the VI (and not be at the location of the shaft at the instant the VI is run)?
    Basically, I am trying to accomplish the homing technique to be at a fixed location of the encoder's shaft and not at arbitrary locations which are at the location of the shaft when the VI is run, which may be different everytime I run the VI.
    Thank you,
    r15
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    One way out might indeed be to use absolute encoders, but it isn't yet clear to me that it's the only way or even the best way.  So let's make sure we first cover the basics very clearly.
    If your encoder has a z-index and your task is configured to use it properly, the z-index pulse will cause a reset at a specific shaft angle.  The very first such reset will usually occur in less than 360 degrees of motion, depending how far away you started from.  The remaining resets will always be at the same physical angle, thus every 360 degrees thereafter.
    If you want to perform z-index reset with an encoder task, it's important that the z-index *signal* is coming from the quad encoder.  The task config depends on a z-index signal that is sync'ed to the A & B quad signals and requires you to define which 1 of the 4 possible A quad B states should be used for the reset.  This helps NI support both full-cycle and quarter-cycle gated index pulses.  (Full-cycle means the index pulse lasts one full cycle of the A channel, quarter-cycle means that it lasts for one A quad B state, i.e. 1/4 of a full cycle.)
    A z-index signal that isn't sync'ed to the encoder may cause multiple resets per pulse or none at all depending on how & whether the pulse overlaps the A & B quad state changes.
    Having said all that, the symptoms you describe sound more software-ish.  If you aren't explicitly doing a modulus function, I would start to wonder whether something about the task config is doing something similar behind the scenes.  I wasn't aware that DAQmx would or could do that, but I haven't done much encoder work since before X-series existed and that was many DAQmx versions ago.  Perhaps it now supports modes for non-cumulative angular position?

    Hi Venkat Kodi,
    If you want to use Jump Targets with R-R-I you have to explicitly create them using T.Code: RSBBS. Then select the Source Query /Source system / Target Report.
    If you want to locate the Target Query already created for a particular query. In BEx Report, Right-Click and use Go to  --> Target Query.

    If you still have the original packaging, it should be with the UPC (barcode) information. Otherwise, it is on the bottom of the board.
    AH! I do have the original packaging... havent tossed it yet (thought Id hold onto it in case of RMA .. which is looking more likely). But I didnt think it'd be in the packaging!
