How to loop through rows in datatable?

Hi,
I have a datatable component with a few columns bound to a database table but I have also added a new textfield column to the datatable. The purpose of this datatable is to present the user with a list of products from the database and then allow the user to enter a quantity value into the textfield for each product (ie datatable row).
This all works fine until i need to capture the quantity values the user has entered. It seems the datatable component can only provide the current row details. However what I want to do is when the user finishes entering the quantities for all the products they click a button and then I loop through each row in the datatable from start to end and find out what quantities were entered for each product.
I can find no documentation or threads on how to do this. It seems like a very basic concept but perhaps is not possible to achieve. Can anyone help?
Also I entered a default value of "0" in the value expression (ie text) property of the new textfield in the datatable but this value never appears (ie the textfields are always empty). However the text property seems to work ok for normal textfield components not within a datatable. Any ideas?

thanks, I am able to iterate through the datatable rows now and get the values, however I still have one (actually two) big problem...
1. I cannot get the textfields to be prepopulated with a value when the page first loads. I have the text property of the textfield set to a value but this makes no difference, the textfields are always blank.
2. After a user enters values and clicks the button to calculate the page reloads and again all entered values are gone (ie the damn textfields are empty again). Is this normal behaviour for textfields within a datatable....surely not.
So, I added some code to my prerender method to specifically populate the textfields and although it loops through each textfield only the last textfield gets populated. I cannot work this one out. Datatables should be easy to work with, but like most things Creator turns an easy job into an impossible one.
Please help.

Processing (looping through) a CLOB has nothing to do with a cursor.

Incorrect. It simply means that
a) you do not have permissions to access that table from within the current context
b) it does not exist (e.g. you have misspelled the object name, you have not qualified it properly within the current scope, etc)

How to loop through a collection of records which is return value of func.

Forms 6i is an antique ... write your code to run on the server.

How to Loop through App and finding popup Windows

Does anyone know how to loop through the app and find any

I guess application by default creates a SystemManager
object... So i used
this.systemManager.popUpChildren.numChildren and it gives me
0 all the time.. even though I have instances of windows to the
app.. According to the documentation this should give you the
number of popup children but it doesn't.. Any more ideas?

It depends if you are using a Java HashMap or a BPM Associative array. You'd use the "keySet" if for the former and the "keys" if it's the latter.
I know you want an object for the array, but Any[String] is used here just so you can see something coming back in the display statements shown below. Remove the input and display statements - they're just in there so you can see something working.
Here's how to go through a Hashmap's array using a loop:

How to loop through classic report rows?

I have a page that has a classic report region. Can I somehow loop through the rows in the report result?
If I put a checkbox item in the query then using this works fine, but I would not like to add checkbox I just would like to loop through the records.

What I would like to do is to let the user click a report row, then navigate to a detail form page and display detailed information of the given report row. And should the suer decide to have a look at all the records, then let him/her click a next button on the detail form and display the next row in the report result on the detail form.

Question on how to loop through a variable amount of objects

I have a csv file which I am parsing with powershell and it works perfectly. I would like to speed it up. Currently, I call a line that is customized for each groups list of subnets.
I have about 30 groups.
Some groups have one subnet, some have 5 subnets.
I want to set up some sort of loop to parse everything while executing a single Import-CSV. Currently I call Import-CSV once per group. It takes me about 2-4 minutes to parse the entire file depending on the speed of the machine.
The csv file has about 30,000 rows. I am not concerned about running out of resources. This is as much a learning challenge as a desire to make better powershell scripts.
Below is a portion of the one liner that would parse the entire csv file looking only for those items that match, and writing them out to that groups specific csv file.
Example #1
Import-Csv $HostList | Where-Object {$_."IP Address" -Match "^192.1.*" -or $_."IP Address" -Match "^192.2.*" -or $_."IP Address" `-Match "^192.3.*" .....}| do more stuff...
Example #2
Import-Csv $HostList | Where-Object {$_."IP Address" -Match "^192.7.*" ....}| do more stuff...
The example above is just a snippet from code that works perfectly.
The problem I am asking for help with is, when I loop through the items I am matching against (subnets), if one group has 3 items to match against, another has 1, another has 7, how do I set up such a loop?
Am I using some sort of 'while' $_."IP Address" or...?
Do I create a big 30,000 array (Does PS even use arrays?)
I would love to know what this type of looping is called, and what I can read with examples on how to understand approaching this challenge..

The reason for the parsing (I thought I explained it, must have been too vague) is I have about 30 agencies in a csv file.
Each agency can be determined by their subnet(s) and domain(s)
I need to put all lines in the csv relating to each agency in their own separate csv file to distribute to them so I am not sharing agency 'A' info with the other 29 agencies.
I get the regex comment. Thank you. For some reason I am rather hesitant to use PCRE under windows. I'll see how it works.
Your comment on "Reloading a large file repeatedly takes more time", is the exact reason why I asked the question. I want to get away from that.

I am having a select statement which is generated dynamically and the columns within it are also generated dynamically.
Select col1, col2, col3 from table1 where rowid = 'xxxx'
This will return a single row and columns within it, now i want to loop through the column values and store in it varray and return it.
Can somebody please show me how can i do this.

I do have the count and names of the columns which are generated dynamically, i have the datatype for the corresponding columns also, the only problem which i faced is getting the values of these columns into something.
I am able to run the following sql like this:

Can you please throw some light on genearing the variable for the into clause in teh above execute immediate statement. I am having the count of columns.

How to loop through the "On My Mac" folders in mail?

Hi there - i am new to applescript, but am slowly working out how to use it.
I am stumped on how to write a rule that will move a message to a folder identified by a tag in a message (I am using MailTags).
I have script that will take the first tag and move the message to a mail folder in a fixed location (e.g. Archive/<tag name>) however I wanted to make it more generic by looping over all of my mail folders and finding one that matched the tag name.
However I am stumped on how to loop over all of my mail folder names - I have tried:
repeat with aFolder in (every mailbox of (mailbox for "ON MY MAC"))
and
repeat with aFolder in every mailbox of inbox
etc.
but none of these seem to work.
Is there some magic syntax to do this, so that I can do:
if (name of aFolder = msgTag) then
move oneMessage to mailbox (name of aFolder)
end if

You don't necessarily need to assign a variable to the entire list in order to loop through them (unless you really want to) - for example:
tell application "Mail" to repeat with aFolder in (get mailboxes)
-- do stuff with aFolder
end repeat

I am trying to get my head around the new 2013 Workflow Engine and SharePoint Designer 2013 Workflow Text-Based Designer.
I have two lists.
List A has 2 columns: Title, Completed (Yes/No)
List B has 3 columns: Title, LookupListATitle, Completed (Yes/No)
All the 2013 Workflow components have been installed and configured and I am selecting the 2013 Workflow option in SPD
I am trying to set off a 2013 Workflow when an item in List A is edited to Loop through List B and select items where the LookupListATitle column's value is equal to the Title value of the current item, and set the value of the Completed column for those
items in ListB to "Yes".
I have the Workflow configured like this:
Stage: Stage 1
IF Current Item:Completed equals Yes
Loop: 1
The contents of this loop will run repeatedly while: ListB:LookupListATitle equals Current Item: Title
Update item in ListB.
(The dialog options for the update item action as follows:
List: ListB
Field: Completed, Value: Yes
In the Find the List Item section
Field: LookupListATitle
Value: Current Item: Title)
Transition to stage
Go to End of Workflow
When I update an item in ListA and set its Completed column to Yes, I would expect the Workflow to find all the items in List B where the Lookup column is equal to ListA's Title (there are 2) and update their Completed column to Yes. But it doesn't work.
When I look at the Workflow Status it says the Internal Status is "Canceled" and the information pop up has the following alien language (and may be truncated):

I understand that you wanted to update the items in the other list (Participants) where the Course equals the Current Item.
You need to use “Call HTTP Web Service" action and “Build Dictionary" action to get the Maxid and then loop Participants to update the items.
You can follow the steps as below to achieve what you want:
Create a custom list named Courses, add columns: Title(Single line of text), Course ID(Single line of text), Course Finalised (Yes/No).
Create a custom list named Participants, add columns: Title(Single line of text), Course(Lookup), CourseFinalised (Yes/No).
Create workflow associated to Courses, start the workflow automatically when an item is created or changed.
Add conditions and actions:
The HTTP URL is set to
https://sitename/_api/web/lists/GetByTitle('listname')/items?$orderby=Id%20desc and the HTTP method is set to “GET”. Then the list will be order by Id and desc.
Then if Course Finalised is equal to Yes, the CourseFinalised of the associated items in Participants will be updated to Yes.
