How to make a project ready

Hi. I have finished a project in Java using JBuilder. My project is ready. Now I want to give it to someone. Now my question is that how do I make this in an executable form. Because it is possible that, someone is unaware of Java and he will want this project to run with just one double click of mouse. How I do this? I shall be very thankfull to you.

    I want to create a new project in an existing folder. I've scoured the web for answers to this but I cant find any. The closest I've come is this:

    when you say 'new project in an existing folder'..... I assume you mean to create a new Project inside of an existing "Blue" folder...?
    Easy.... Select (click) the Blue folder you wish a new Project to appear inside > At the top left corner where it says "new" click the drop down arrow and select the project icon and click it.
    Easier still > select the Blue folder you wish another Project to appear inside > use 'Command & N' on the keypad and away you go...
    If you dont mean the above...? and you want a blue folder inside a blue folder..?
    To create a new blue folder use either the 'New' icon again at the top of the library inspector and click the blue folder icon or (Shift & Command & N ) on the keypad. Then select the new blue folder and repeat the process again...... A folder inside a folder..
    Couldn't be simpler....
    Aperture already provides these simple commands.... I cant imagine why you want to write an 'Applescript Action' for it.... Unless just for the heck of it...??

    Select the items in the project, and then use the command "New > Project" from the main menu bar.
    Then enter the name of the new project into the text field of the "Drop down" panel and check the "Move selected items to new project" button.

  • How to make my project smaller?

    I am taking over a documentary project that was organized by another editor. It contains many folders and sub-folders, as well as sequences.
    I identified the sequence that I want to keep, and I reconnected all the media just for that sequence. I would like now just to have a project with that sequence and the corresponding footage used in that sequence. I don't want to keep all the footage unused spread out in the many folders.
    If I delete folders without being careful I may accidentely delete footage referenced in the sequence I want to keep. Because of the numbers of folders I cannot go thru all of them and sort it out manually.
    I looked into using Project Manager function, but I don't want to trim my media used in the sequence I intend to keep. I also thought about exporting an XML file of my sequence and re-import it into a new project, but my sequence includes many speed change and time remapping effects, as well as other FX applied to shots. By experience these "won't survive" with an FCP XML export (or EDL).
    Anybody has an idea on what would be the best / fastest way to make my Premiere Pro project smaller?

  • How to make iDVD project audio tracks blend together

    I've been working on my first iDVD project in years, Everything is coming together nicely so far except the audio transitions aren't very smooth... When the music loop begins to play with the start up for the menu screen it's fine... But once you click on the menu for the photo slide show the music sounds pretty abrupt when starting up and not smooth when going from one to the other
    Is there a way to blend the Menu music and slide show music so it's more of a fade out to a fade in ? so it's a smoother change one one to the other ?

    I don't know of any software that will automatically fade out the menu music at whatever point the user clicks on a video. But, perhaps the situation can be improved by creating the slideshow in iMovie -- then you can use those controls to fade in the slideshow music. Or you can use audio editing software to make a version of your first song with more lead in - then import that alternate version and use it for your slideshow.

  • My Project ready for delivery but unable to deploy using Oracle Installer

    I used Project Builder for make my project ready for delivery.
    As normal way of deploying Application is based on the instruction using the project builder and Oracle installer.
    But when i attempt to used Oracle installer, the from look up menu box it doest appear my project application.
    Is there any way i can test and load my application. Currently my project application still resides on Bin directory that every time is used to open my project, it always passed on the obecject navigator i want to hide all this things.
    Can canyone help me>>

    Hello. My PeopleSoft project has 3 items (item1, item2 and item3). Each item has 5 components (Component1, Component2, Component3, Component4 and Component5).
    Currently, I can acces each component by type in the URL in Browser as follows:

    But I want my project to appear in the left hand "Menu" navigation after we sign on PeopleSoft. My project Menu will look like a hierarchical tree. When the user click on it, the user can see all the project's items and components and link to a component directly. But I don't understand how to do it.
    Do any folks understand how to create a project's Menu in PeopleSoft left hand Menu navigation ?

    I have just set up PIA and Process Scheduler in Windows Server 2003.
    " http://127.0.0.1/psp/ps/?cmd=login " can get to PeopleSoft Login page. After I login using my PeopleSoft Database UserID and Password, the browser displays "http://127.0.0.1/psp/ps/EMPLOYEE/PT_LOCAL/h/?tab=DEFAULT" that is MENU page with Search box. I can open every item in the Menu page.
    But when I try to open my project's component and page, the browser cannot display them. I got the message as follows:
    "http://127.0.0.1/psp/ps/myComponent" display the message: Could not open Registry. Registry Name: myComponent.
    "http://127.0.0.1/psp/ps/myPage" display the message: Could not open Registry. Registry Name: myPage.
    Can any folks tell me how to open myProject's components and pages in Browser so that I can input/retrieve data into/from PeopleSoft Database ?

    I have a film in a proyect made with a miniDV camera in my old Premiere 6.5
      It has 68 minutes and after exporting it with the Microsoft DV AVI compressor in 100 % quality and not compressing the audio, it  ended in an AVI of 14 Gigas.
    I would like to obtain a DVD of the best quality in audio and video possible. How can I do it?  SHOULD I EXPORT IT FROM THE PREMIERE 6.5 WITH ANOTHER COMPRESSOR OR IN LESS THAN 100% QUALITY WITH THE SAME DV AVI COMPRESSOR ? my INTENTION IS TO USE THE NERO VISION AFTERWARDS... I HAVE THE NERO VISION 4...-. FROM 2007- WOULD IT BE OK OR IS THERE A BETTER ONE? - I know there are newer ones...but better?
    I HAVE POSTED THIS A FEW DAYS AGO. THANKS TO THE PEOPLE THAT REPIED. BUT I THINK MY QUESTION IS NOTFULLY ANSWERED YET.

    I have now seen that one of the options for exporting from Premiere 6.5 is Adobe MPEG encoder. So Do you guys think it would be a good idea to do it with that, Or Would it be better AVI or DV AVI compressor from Premiere before making the DVD?
    I have the Nero Vision 4.9.6.6  But I may be able to look for another one if you think it is better...

    I’m working on a large project (3 hours of video with about 10 chapters, over 50 pictures in a playlist, and special feature chapter) and wondering is it possible to make an project across 2 or more DVDs, but to have menu only on first one? I’d like to make an project that comes with menu only on first DVD and when you click on e.g. “special features” button, then you get the message “please insert DVD 2″
    Is it possible and how to make something like that?

    I would have EACH DVD begin with a menu. Somebody will insert DVD 2 first no matter how you label things.
    Yes, you are right! People just don't want to read, but I'm making an animated menu in AE and it'll take about 300MB (rendered in .mpg). That is what I want to avoid on other DVDs to save some space. You just gave me an idea so I'll make some small menu for other one or two DVDs with just a few informations about what DVD is inserted and what DVD you need to insert if you want to watch something else from that project. Thank you!
    I just have to learn better Encore and its capabilities and limitations (if I have time )

    We all have issue list in our project sites. We need to add some values to some of the columns in that issue list. The requirement is we need these changes to reflect in all the new sites. Also how to make these changes reflect in current existing sites.
    Can anybody suggest a way to achieve this. One thing that i am aware of is creating a new project site template and associating it with EPT but that still not solves the issue for preexisting sites.

    If you have already created some sites. You would need to apply these changes either Programetically (Powershell or C#) or Manually.
    However, you can take the following approach to avoid this problem in future. (i.e. Your "future" changes will appear in existing sites too). I am writing the procedure breifly but let me know if you need more details on this
    1) Create a content type (e.g. "Project issues" at PWA level)
    2) Associate this content type with the Issues List in your site template as well any existing project sites. Make it a default content type for Issue lists. save your site template
    3) Create all your custom columns in this new Content type (changing OOB issue columns can break your reporting)
    4) Your changes to content type should reflect in future sites as well as existing sites (whereever the content type was appiled)
