How to make Exit button for Out-of-browser application

Greetings all,
This sounds so simple, yet I can't find anything about it. I want to make an Exit button in a Silverlight 4 Out-of-browser application. When the user clicks the button, the application is to quit or close or exit. (The same effect as if the user clicks
the red X icon in the upper right-hand corner of a window.)
Any ideas will be appreciated.

Yes, the word Page has taken on many meanings in the last 15 years. I'll clarify. When I make a simple Silverlight OOB (out-of-browser) application using Visual Studio 2010, I ask Visual Studio to Add New Item, then choose Silverlight Page. Let's
say I name it Page2.xaml.
By default VS2010 already made another page for me, MainPage.xaml.
Now, here is my need: On the page called MainPage.xaml, I want to place a large button that says Exit Application. When the user clicks that button, I want the application to end and the entire window to close. This is the standard behavior in most traditional Windows
applications, for example in Microsoft Word or Microsoft Excel or Microsoft Access. In any of those traditional applications, the user can, from the menu, choose File/Exit. If he does, then not only does the application quit, but also the window
closes itself. The user doesn't have to click the small red X icon in the upper right corner.
That simple behavior of almost all traditional Windows applications, large and small, is what I'm looking for in my simple Silverlight
OOB applications: An Exit command that quits the application and closes the window itself.
Sorry for the confusion. I really appreciate your help. Any ideas?

Depends what kind of archive you've got in mind.
You could just create a page of links which point to your articles.
But the best option in my eyes is to forget Dreamweaver and set up something like a Wordpress site which will automatically archive for you.

How to add bookmark button for user to access application

I would like to add a button that will be an 'ADD BOOKMARK' concept for the user so that they don't try to save the url that is generated at the time they run the application.
I am using Apex 4.0.
Is anyone familiar with this concept?

How to make a button to stop and run a for loop? and if it is stopped it shall start from where i t stopped.

Your VI has some very fundamental flaws.
The start/stop button is outside the FOR loop, thus it will NOT get read during execution of the FOR loop, but only before the FOR loop starts. Think dataflow!
Thus the terminal of the start/stop button belongs inside the FOR loop.
Your FOR loop iterates 20x, which probably takes about a nanosecond. You will NOT be fast enough to reliably press the start/stop button during a specific iteration of the FOR loop.
Your code does not "stop and run" a FOR loop (sic). The loop always spins, but executes an empty case when "Stopped". I guess that's what you actually want?
Once you solve (2), the x indicator will contain a random value whenever you "stop".
As soon as the 20 iterations complete, the outer while loop spin an things start over, another nanosecond later.
Place e.g. a 500ms wait inside the FOR loop to solve this.
Don't place terminals of indicators on top of formula nodes.
Your formula does not produce any output, so really has no purpose.
Use a real "stop" button to terminate the while loop (mechanical action: latch when released). Right now you are using a plain switch, which does not reset to false before the next run. This means that you need to manually reset it before running the program again.
It is oftern useful to operate the VI in execution highlighting mode. You will immediately see that your button does not get read during execution of the FOR loop. Try it!

I have a requirement to create a button in the Application toolbar of the Module Pool Screen. The field should be made Invisible by default. and it should be displayed based on one condition.
Could you please let me know how to make that particular button INVISIBLE. I think we can make it invisible by using EXCLUDING statement. But, How to make the button VISIBLE again when the check is satisfied.
I found from the portal that the FM 'VIEW_SET_PF_STATUS' can be used to make a button INVISIBLE. Could anyone help me out how to pass the parameters to this Function module?
or is there any Function Module available to make the button VISIBLE and INVISIBLE? Please help me on this issues.
Is there any possibility to make the button VISIBLE or INVISIBLE as we do for the screen fields using LOOP AT SCREEN..?

Try to use below in the PBO module status_0100 OUTPUT.
DATA t_fcode TYPE TABLE OF sy-ucomm.
refresh t_fcode[].
APPEND 'Function code name of the button' TO t_fcode.
Check the condition here for which you want to make field visible.
DELETE FCODE of the button from T_FCODE table
ENDIF.
SET PF-STATUS 'STATUS_0100' EXCLUDING t_fcode.

The Timer is working fine, but because it runs in another Thread, your program is ending before the Timer can repeat.
The simplest way to make your program wait until it is force-quitted as you describe would be to make an infinite loop (although this isn't very good practice), like this:

WAD:
Open the WAD and create a new template. On the left hand navigation you will have several Web Items available. Under 'Standard' you have 'Analysis' item. Pull that into your template to the right. Under the Properties tab you need to pick the query [form/layout] that you have built in Query Designer.
You will also find other items such as Button group, Checkbox, drop down, list box etc available. Pick and drag into the template whatever it is you require. Lets say you want a button. Under the Properties tab select the 'Command' that you require. You could use standard commands that are available there. You could also define functions and commands that you require.
Query Designer:
Open the QD and drag the characteristics and key figures that you require into the rows and columns of the QD. You would need to specify restrictions under the Filter tab of the QD based on the granularity of data that you require. You would need to remember that the key figures need to be made Input Ready [do this by clicking on KF and on the planning tab select "change by user and planning functions"].
This shouldgive you a start. After you've explored it yourself a bit we can discuss further and I can certainly provide you additional details/material on these areas.

I also faced the same requirement. U can do one thing like remove the obligatory keyword of that parameter/select-option. U can handle the same using the program in at selection-screen event. See this sample of code,

I don't know what's you point on the wall and the player but you should do something as that:

How to make a short clip out of the original one ?

Some days ago, I asked a question on editing a clip in this forum. The responder asked me to provide a few seconds of the clip for his examination. But I got stuck. I didn't know how to make a clip of a few seconds out of the original clip and that it had the exact same format and properties as the original clip.
Neither Premier nor After Effect have an ouput option such as "same as original source" .
So, my question is how to make a short clip out of the original one with everything the same properties as the original one.

Sorry, but I think that I am still not following you.
I want to export and render the short clip to a new file which I want to have everything the same as the original clip. Just like I cut off a few seconds off it and that few seconds becomes an independent file.
OK, you have your original source file. It is complete and is also unaltered. If you want a "Copy" of it, just use Windows Explorer, or similar to make that Copy. If you want a separate file of your edited version of that source file (as it appears in the Timeline), use the WAB (Work Area Bar) to include just that edited instance of the source footage, and Export just the WAB. This will give you a separate file with the edits in it.
I still feel that neither is what you want. If you can step me through, maybe with screen-caps, what you have and what you wish to end up with, I can see the operation more clearly.

For the parameters required, while declaring them use the MODIF ID, lets say you have choosen the modif id as SC1.
i.e. parametes: p_mat type matnr DEFAULT '100' MODIF ID SC1.
Then in the initialization event, code as below.
    LOOP AT SCREEN.
      IF screen-group1 = 'SC1'.
        screen-input = '0'.
        MODIFY SCREEN.
      ENDIF.
    ENDLOOP.
It will work.

Hi Jiong,
That button is to acess the printer utility for that particular printer, not all printers come with a utility. If you have the disk that came with your printer, you can see if it has a Macintosh driver, if it does then it mimght have the utility with it. It's pretty hard to run the utility on its own, its burried somewhere in the system so that's why you have that menu item. You can alternatively go on the internet and download the latest driver, which might have a utility. All the utility will do will give you options to check nozzle patterns, alighnement, ink tank levels, and cleaning options - just mimnor maintenence junk, non-essentials, etc. I think Tiger just comes with a whole heap of generic drivers for different printer lines, can't say for sure.
I wouldn't worry about it, especially if you have a relatively old printer.

Exit Button for Adobe Reader

Hello,
I really need to create an exit button for use within Adobe Reader. I am using Adobe Acrobat and will use any javascript that works.
My understanding is that Adobe does not allow this functionality. Could someone link me an official reason/response as to why this is?
Also, if anyone has any ideas to get around this, please let me know. These PDFs will open in a program in full screen. A simple exit button, or even a minimize button, would allow them to go straight back to the program. Now it only closes the document, leaving Adobe Reader still open. It just looks unprofessional and adds an annoying step to getting back to the program. Please help.

It makes sense because one document should not be able to automatically close Acrobat/Reader, which may have multiple documents opened.

Hey everyone.. iv been looking for help for a few weeks but cant seem to find the awnsers
I am trying to create a newspaper that consists of four pages. Each page i have created and are sitting in the library as sprites. Each page has buttons that need linking so that when pressed it loads the next page or page that i want. This is the part i am confused with =/ how do i make the buttons on each page load the next page (sprite) from the library??
Basically i want to no how to make a button load a sprite from the library when clicked. Does anyone no the script for this?

A question arises as to whether or not you are posting in the right forum. Sprites are AS3 objects.
If you want to add movieclips to the stage from the library using AS2, then you need to assign them each an Identifier via right clicking them in the library and selecting the Linkage option... from there you slect the option to Export for Actionscript and then assign the Identifier.
You then use the attachMovie() method to make use of that Identifier to dynamically load the library object.
