How to make fields invisible dynamically in standard transaction?

When we visit T-Code FB60 there are tabs like Basic data, Payment , Details ,Tax ,Notes ,Local Currency.
In the Tax tab there are fields like Tax code, Rep. Date etc.
The Rep.Date has value from BKPF-VATDATE and value for tax code from RTAX1U12-MWSKZ.
The requirement is that in Tax tab if value for tax code is not selected then the Rep. Date field should become invisible i.e., if tax code value is empty then the Rep. Date field should become invisible dynamically.
Is there any BADI/Enhancement Spots to achieve this requirement?

1.In designer on tools menu you have level security. Add what you want objects or groups or users level security.
2.In CMS Select the option universes then provide the security for the object level.
3. you create the below variables :
if CurrentUser()="@Varaible(BOUSER)" then " " else [Dimension]
Hope this is what you are looking out for.

We need to make the fields in a page grow column wise within that same page.
For example, in a page:

Hi Gurunath, if you steel need a solution on this problem, I think this could help:
1- place two fields on the form (JF01, JF02), one under each other.
2- Make two subform with them (Sline1, Sline2)
3- Make the field JF02 expand on same subform.
4- Modify the preamble in this way:
^define group:D_line1 \field$POSITION\reserve"0.333",in\subformSline1.\positionsave,"first_line"
^define group:JF01!OnOverflow \groupG_Sline2.\fieldJF02.
^define group:G_Sline2!OnBOF \positionrestore,"first_line"\positionright,"3.65",in
In the data file put all the text in JF01.
-The first line say:
When JF01 is called, save it's y position (\positionsave,"first_line")
-The second line means:
when the text overflow JF01 put it in JF02.
(cause JF02 overflow on itself all the remaining data is overflowed in JF02)
-The third line means:
if JF02 arrives at the end of the page (OnBOF), restore the saved position ( \positionrestore,"first_line") and move to the right of "3,65" inches (\positionright,"3.65",in).
In other words, when JF02 arrive at the and of the age, the next field JF02 is positioned at the same height of JF01 and is shifted on the right
Take care that in this way JF02 cannot anymore go o a new page.

I don't think it is possible and feasible for adding new field value to the field VBTYP because it is not possible through SPRO.
If u see the domain of this field VBTYP we have fixed values provided by SAP. There is no value table for this. If u have value table then it will be updated through SPRO. But still if u really want to add some value u can do that by getting access key and add the value in the fixed values of the domain. But of no use other than simply displaying in F4. Because for what ever value u created here there will be no documents in VBAK or any table using this domain.

You need to create a validation item that is triggered when the user clicks the submit button.
Set the validation type to "Function Returning Error Text".
Then add your validation into the "Validation Expression 1" field. Something like:

How to make Field "Period/Fiscal Year" dynamic in the program variant

HI All,
We have program called "RCRM_FM_ACL_ACCRUAL_RUN" which is used to calcukate accruals in CRM. This program has got a field "Period/Fiscal Year".
We want this program to run every day at specific time. So we have created a variant in order to schedule a job with program so that it runs every day and calculates the accrual.
when we create variant we need to maintain some values in the variant like fund plan id in fund plan id field and period/year in "Period/Fiscal Year". Normally for date field we have an option to make a field dynamic by selecting value "D" (Dynamic) in selection variable, so it takes date every time as current date automatically and we do not have to change it every day.
But in program *"RCRM_FM_ACL_ACCRUAL_RUN",* I could not find the option "D" for the field "Period/Fiscal Year". Because of this we have to change the "Period/Fiscal Year" manually every time when ever period/year gets changed. we want this to be done automatically.
Can any onet tell me why we are not able to find the optin "D" (Dynamic) in the program "RCRM_FM_ACL_ACCRUAL_RUN". Do we need to do any settings for that.
or
Is there any other way to full fill my requirement i.e period/year get updated automatically with current period/year every time when period/year gets changed.

Using function-modules "RS_VARIANT_CONTENTS" and RS_CHANGE_CREATED_VARIANT and table tvarvc, you can make your variant dynamic. You just need to write a small piece of code using these FMs.

In SPRO there is no Field selection for QA. If you want to maintain QA based MPN( get the material number relevant to MPN). Press F4 and select the search criteria search by MPN, you will get the material relevant to that MPN.

Dear SRM-gurus,
for making fields unvisible in Shopping Cart Detail you can go to SE51 --> SAPLBBP_SC_UI_ITS --> e.g. 100 and set fields whether "Invisible" or in Screen Painter double-click on the specific field and enter "MOR" in the 4th group field.
This works perfectly for SAPLBBP_SC_UI_ITS.
Now we'd like make the same restriction of fields in "Monitor Shopping Cart" transaction.
--> SE51 --> SAPLBBP_MON_SC --> 1200
Here when I click on Layout and set the field as "Invisible" this works alright for the description of the fields (e.g. Description) BUT for all the fields where values can be entered there is no way to make them invisible in transaction BBP_MON_SC. No matter if I set Invisible and/or the value MOR in 4th group field.
Do you have any idea how I can also make the dropdown and value fields invisible (not available)?

Hi Henning,
The trick cannot work in SAPLBBP_MON_SC_1200, because in the application there is no handling for the modification group. That is the difference with SAPLBBP_SC_UI_ITS / 0100. We used the trick there to avoid modifications in HTML because HTML has no modification-assistent and ABAP does.
In your case I would suggest to modify the HTML-template (service BBP_MON_SC, template SAPLBBP_MON_SC 1200 ) to hide the unwanted fields simply by deleting or commenting the unwanted tablerows.

does somebody know how to make a frame invisible dynamically? Some items in the frame are confidential;
confidential items are put invisble for certain users;
if all items in the frame are invisible i want the frame to disappear. Today i'am messing with stacked canvasses on top of the frame. Isn't their an easier way to do?

my purpose was to have 1 content page/ or tabpage and no stacked canvasses at all; and a simply way to say to the frame
frame.visible = property_false
Today my tabpage has a frame the can become invisible conditionally.Designing tabpages with stackedcanvasses on it is NOT easy in the design editor.

My requirement is to perform some custom validations against a field FKONT(BSEG) at the line item level of FB60 and display appropriate message and make the incorrect field editable.
I have implemented an implicit enhancement point in include MF05AFGENJ.
The error messages are coming but I am unable to make the GL account, cost center and profit center fields editable.
Please let me know how to make the above fields editable after displaying the error message.

The ALV tree control is not intended for making values editable (e.g. see
[How to make ALV tree columns editable|http://sap.ittoolbox.com/groups/technical-functional/sap-abap/how-to-make-alv-tree-columns-editable-2052414])
However, if you need an editable tree control then you have to use a different class (e.g. CL_ITEM_TREE_MODEL or CL_COLUMN_TREE_MODEL) but you will not have the ALV functionality of the ALV tree control.
