Like if i enter the data in text area ( or like we normaly see when we write mail that editor) and we can use html tages in it and when user submit form all the data in that field will be saved on server side as an html formate. Is it possible to do so??? or any ruff idea how to design it???Erm ...
Whats the problem with that?!
Ok, here the code ...
String myparameter = request.getParameter("paramname");
String htmltemplate = "<html>\n"
+"<head><title>demo</title></head>\n";
+"<body>@parametertag@</body>\n";
+"<html>";
String htmlpage = htmltemplate.replaceAll("@parametertag@",myparameter);
File yourHTMLfile = new File("wheredoyouwannagotoday.html");
FileOutputStream fos = new FileOutputStream(yourHTMLfile);
fos.write(htmlpage.getBytes());
fos.close();You're done.

How to display HTML file from Unix server on UI at runtime
Hi Experts,
My requirement is to display HTML files, related to some particular person, on UI. The file is existing on a separate UNIX server and a file related to one person may have a lot of attached files as well , as is the case generally with HTML files, including pictures etc. So it is no use transferring file on my CRM system, as the files are kept separately on this UNIX server which is particularly for this kind of storage.
I am able to show files residing on MIME repository ( I created some new HTML files ) of my CRM system on UI. but I don't know how to go ahead with this particular requirement.
One idea is that I can map one folder of my application server to that unix server so that I can see the HTML files in this particular folder. but I don't know how to map MIME repository folder to application server directory or directly to the UNIX server .
Please advise. Is my approach correct or is there any other way ?
thanks in advance.
Regards,
VikasMaybe this is too simple, but have you got an HTTP server on the UNIX machine? You could simply link the URL into you CRM application and display the contents directly from UNIX.

How to remove html-tags from a text.
Hello!
I have a text-field which I will remove html-tag's from.
Example:
"This is a test<br><p> and another test"
The function must return a similar text, but without the html-
tags <br> and <p> (in this case).
Anybody that can help me with this little problem?
Thanks in advance for any help :-)
Best regards
Kjetil KlxveYou can wait for some kind personal to post a complete code
solution... But if you want to fix this yourself (which is good
for the soul) here are some hints:
- You can use SUBSTR to get at chunks of text
- You can use INSTR to find particular characters.
- You can use INSTR as an argument of SUBSTR
Hence:
bit_of_text := SUBSTR(text, 1, INSTR(text, '<'));
chopped_text := SUBSTR(text, INSTR(text, '<'));
bit_of_text := bit_of_text||SUBSTR(chopped_text, INSTR
(text, '>'), INSTR(text, '<'));
will give you the first bit of text that doesn't contain any
angle brackets.
From this you should be able to work out how to functionalised
this (you'll need to store the offsets and use them in a loop
construct).
Note that this assumes that the text only contains the '<'
character when it's part of a HTML tag. If you can't guarantee
this then you'll have to explicitly search for all the tags e.g.
bit_of_text := SUBSTR(text, 1, INSTR(lower(text), '<p>'));
bit_of_text := SUBSTR(text, 1, INSTR(lower(text), '<br>'));
This will be a bit of pain. And completely rules out XML!

Dummy question: how to make html file working under weblogic
I created a file called register.html, and I put it under

If the server does not wish to make this information available to the

How to make single file from multiple PDF image?
Hi, it's my first question in SCN.
I promise my efforts for developing this site.
Lately, I made multiple PDF image by function 'CONVERT_OTFSPOOLJOB_2_PDF'.(each spool ID)
And I wanna make single .PDF file by merging these image in server directory(not local PC).
So I tried it following.
1. Each internal table resulted from CONVERT_OTFSPOOLJOB_2_PDF append one internal table.
BL_PDF + MF_PDF → PDF
2. Excute following command.
OPEN DATASET P_FILE FOR OUTPUT MESSAGE LV_MSG IN BINARY MODE.
IF SY-SUBRC = 0.
LOOP AT PDF.
MOVE PDF TO FIELD.
TRANSFER FIELD TO P_FILE.
CLEAR PDF.
ENDLOOP.
CLOSE DATASET P_FILE.
ENDIF.
But files was not merged, only last image was made as .PDF file instead.
How can I do it?
Thank you.Hi Sangrok,
Instead of preparing PDF multiple times, you can combine all the OTF data and then finally convert it into PDF. For saving the PDF onto application server, you can refer following report.
http://wiki.scn.sap.com/wiki/display/Snippets/To+convert+spools+to+PDF+and+place+it+in+Application+server+with+the+Generated+Partner+ID

New to Lucid - how do you retreive files from a text message?
I just bought a new Lucid and am having fun. I wasn't able to transfer my ringtones, so trying to redownload them. I have the text message with the attached mp3, but I don't know how to download them or save them to my phone...HELP
Long press the message that has the included file, and press the save option. You can then plug into your computer to access them, they should be in a download folder. I would suggest creating a folder named media containing folders named ringtones, notifications, and alarms. You can then transfer your ringtones into the appropriate folders. This way, you can apply them through the normal set ringtones method.

How to make exe files from java files
Ohhh, so you thought you were going to answer that question? Well I already know the answer, i.e. all the tricks with the jar files or the programs which convert java programs into executable programs.
The reason why I asked this question was to start a discussion concerning question which are frequently asked in the forums. Wouldnt it be nice to have like statistics over the most faq here, and of course one or several pages with the answers to these questions? This would solve 2 problems:
1) The person who wants to ask the question can find the answer and the solution quickly.
2) The forums would not be packed with the same questions all the time.
I mean, you must admit that the questions regarding exe files are asked a lot of times.
Happy coding to ya all!
/TMYeah thats my point! these questions should be moved
to a special page, where the answer to theam areDid you the whole message? I said there are FAQs. -

How to convert a HTML files into a text file using Java
Hi guys...!
I was wondering if there is a way to convert a HTML file into a text file using java programing language. Likewise I would also like to know if there is a way to convert any type of file (excel, power point, and word) into text using java.
By the way, I really appreciated the help that you guys gave me on my previous topic on how to extract tests from a pdf file.
Thank you....HTML files are already text files. What do you mean you want to convert them?
I think if you search the web, you can find things for converting those MS Office files to text (or extracting text from them, as I assume you mean). -
