How to make only Panel title clickable?

I have a Panel where I'd like to do something if the user
clicks the title (title bar/header) of the Panel. I don't want to
have the whole Panel be clickable, since a user might "miss" when
clicking one of the other elements and inadvertently click the
panel. Thoughts?

You could place a transparent component over the rest of the
panel. that component will intercept all mouse events. That is the
way modal pop-ups work. You do not have to use the blur look.
I have not done this but there will be examples available,
and you can look into the pop-up code.

You can group the controls as a Cluster and make a type-def of it. That's probably what you're after.

How can I make only one (or 2) round corner on a square using the round corner effect?

You don't say what version you're using, but I know that in CS3 (and probably CS4), there is a script installed that you can use.
Draw your frame. Open the Scripts panel. Open the subfolders "Application", then "Samples", then "Javascript". With your Frame selected, double-click the script in the list named "CornerEffects.jsx". You'll be presented with a list of options to control what type of corner; and at the bottom the pop-up menu controls which corners get that type of corner.
(Names may vary somewhat for CS4.)

How to change Window panel title size?

I have created a script with a gui Window with groups and panels. My issue is when I fire the script either from After Effects or from the Extendscript Debugger, I can't see the whole title on my panel title. Below is an image highlighting the error I am seeing.

Some containers have a "titleLayout" property (search the JavaScript Tool Guide pdf) but i just checked and panels don't have it (only tabbedpanels).
So the only way i bet is to make your panels wider, which you can do in many ways.
For instance : myPanel.preferredSize = [130, -1]; // sets the preferredSize.width to 130
Or myPanel.margins = [30,10,30,10]; // increase horizontal margins of the panel so it it becomes wider

How to make only part of a PDF document editable?

I'm looking to see if there is a way to make only part of a PDF document editable. My problem is, I have pieces of collateral that some of our channel partners need to be able to add their logo to and then edit the contact information on them, but we don't want them to be able to change any of the main copy on these documents. The only thing I've been able to come up with as a solution is to create outlines of the text that I don't want editable, but I need the copy to be able to be read by computer systems for disability purposes. Does anyone have any ideas on something I could do for this? Or has anyone dealt with anything like this? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

How to make only one column non reorderble

I want to make only one column (Column 0) of my JTable non reorderble.
I also want to make the same column non resizable and I want to give it a specific size.
Please help me on this?

I have implemented a RowHeaderTable class which displays 1, 2, 3, ... in the first column. The column is in the scrollpane's RowHeaderView, so it is not resizable nor reorderable. But its width can be set in your code. Maybe this is what you need.
Use the class the same way you use a JTable, except 3 added methods:
getScrollPane();
setMinRows(int r);
setRowHeaderWidth(int w);
Note: The table works perfectly in skinless L&F, such as the default java L&F. It looks ugly in Liquid L&F because I don't know how to steal column header's UI to use on a JList. If someone can help me on this one, I thank you in advance.

you can either call setEnabled(false) or remove the listenerFor sake of GUI ergonomics, I'd suggest the first solution.
If you implement the second solution, you'll have the user clicking on the button again and again and asking himself why nothing happens.

How to make HDivide Box Bars clickable?

I think camickr (not Camicker) already told you to set the opacity of the JScrollPane's viewport.
Spend just a few minutes with the JScrollPane API and you'll find an exploded view showing the components that make up a scroll pane.

If you mean how do you repeat the column titles on a table if the table extends over several pages then all you need do is:
Highlight the table header row
Right click and select table properties
On the Row tab, specify that the header row should be repeated on every page
Save your work
XMLP will now respect the word setting and will repeat the header row on evey page the table needs.

As stated, Leave Color Effect is exactly what you want. I'd like to put in a bit of a plug for Adobe Classroom in a Book Premiere Pro CS5, Adobe Press, out very soon, if not already on shelves where you are. The author covers this very Effect very well. Doubt that you will find a better tutorial on the Effect anywhere else.
Also, it's great reading, and a book worth every $.

Hy, I have created a JFrame and I have placed a
JPanel in it. I also have a JButton "New" on the
JPanel. When I click on the "New" Button, another JFrame
appears. But I want ONLY one JFrame to be appeared

I should not be able to add another one.

You can declare a boolean variable in your class and set it to true if you open a window. Next time when you click the NEW button, check whether that boolean value is true or false. If true then don't open a new window. Also when u close the frame window, set the boolean value to false.
